NVIDIA GeForce turbo force edition (6600 256MB with a passive cooler)
Current clocks are 450/500
I've got v-tuner2 for software overclocking, but I want to know if I can mount an active cooler on it. Any recommendations? (I can easily grab a Zalman 7000B, but is it too big and heavy?) Also, how much performance can I realistically squeeze out while keeping it stable?
Rest of the build: Intel Pentium 4, Gigabyte motherboard, 2x512 MB RAM...
thx

LDT is set in the BIOS. On the PC I'm typing on right now, it’s called the HT Ratio. Maybe yours is labeled differently, but you should see options like 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or Auto. Set it so that LDTxHTT stays just under 1000—or maybe slightly over. It won't affect your actual speed, but if you push it way past 1000, the system might crash.
