If you actually care about the music—and I mean *really* care—then stop looking at gaming headsets and go hit up an audio shop to check out some Sennheiser gear. Seriously, once you try them, you'll realize how much of a different universe they inhabit compared to those gamer cans.
From what I can gather by looking at the reviews, they aren't exactly winning any beauty contests—especially considering the price tag—and people are complaining that they feel pretty stiff and uncomfortable. Honestly, don't go picking them up unless you actually get to try them on first. If you're looking to spend around $100, you'd probably be better off grabbing some SteelSeries Siberia or maybe the Creative Tatics 3D Alpha instead.
shadowpilot8, check out the hanfu licensing thread 😉 or everyone else can just browse the threads about shopping at H&M (like ordering stuff from Austria) or any similar fashion topic. Honestly—I don't see the big deal in posting an email like steven.reed.whatever@gmail.com or a local provider. It's a whole different story if we're talking full names and surnames—and a completely different story if it's just my forum handle.
But then, when some absolute disaster happens because of it, who’s actually on the hook? Is it the forum, or is it you?
Woodoo, I honestly think you can ditch the pre-installed Windows from the deal—this whole "dealer" thing smells like a total scam to me. 😁 Let’s be real, those aren't going to be genuine Windows licenses included in the price anyway, so you might as well demand some better peripherals instead.
stormytiger57 said:Hey everyone.. You guys have helped me out plenty of times before, so I’m hoping for some more advice here.. I'm looking at picking up a used graphics card, and I need to know which one is actually better—basically, what's decent for running stuff like Grand Theft Auto IV, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Metro 2033, and so on..
AMD Radeon HD 4850 1GB
ATI RADEON HD 4670 1GB
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 1GB
The rest of the build should be roughly this: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+, 4 gigs of RAM (assuming I can even track down a CPU like that)
Thanks for the help😉
Look, you aren't really going to have much fun with any of those options. Between the 9800 GT and the 4850, they're pretty much in the same ballpark, though the 9800 GT has slightly better texture filtering—meanwhile, that 4670 is basically half the strength of the other two.
Alexander Moore67, you can't find those cards anywhere anymore.
Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I’d grab the GPU first—then just swap out the processor for a Bulldozer later down the road instead of messing around with a beefier Phenom.
What kind of cables are you talking about being unable to run into the room? One single USB cable? Honestly—wireless webcams send their signal straight to the router anyway.
Specialty computer shops will always beat those massive big-box retailers—you know, the ones like Walmart or Target that sell everything from milk to lawnmowers—when it comes to pricing. Honestly, just steer clear of the "everything under one roof" giants if you actually want a decent deal.
Over here, you can snag a killer 24" Microsoft TV monitor for just $600.
It’s a much better deal than buying everything separately—honestly, just grab the 2250D because it actually comes with an HD TV tuner and LED backlighting included.
Kate Morales76 said:Can you actually print size 5 or 6 fonts on that Samsung? XD I don't really follow the whole resolution debate—I've always assumed lasers are a bit fuzzier than inkjets—but still. And how much life is actually in the starter toner for that laser printer? I can't find those specs anywhere.
Just ran a test print on size 4 font and yeah, it's legible. 🙂 You get about 700 pages out of the starter toner.
Kate Morales76 said:Walmart is doing 10% off printers this weekend—thinking about grabbing one while they're on sale since my sister and I are both college students and really want a laser printer because we print way too much. Any recommendations, pleeease?
We're based out of Phoenix, so if nothing at Walmart is worth it even with the discount, feel free to suggest something from another store nearby. Budget: $333, but honestly, long-term value is what matters most!
Out of the options at Walmart, I’d probably go with the Brother HL-2240, but you might want to take a look at this instead: http://www.trustedreviews.com/Samsun...Printer_review
Over at Best Buy, there's the $197, where a 1,500-page toner cartridge will run you about $150. It has built-in wireless—so you just pair it with your router and tuck it wherever you want—plus it doesn't take up much space.
Also, how much is "a lot" of printing here? Are we talking a thousand pages a month? Two? Five?
And seriously, find another forum for pet stuff. 🙂
Go ahead and give this a quick skim—just to make sure you actually followed the installation procedure to the letter: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/pr...nstall_FAQ.pdf
Also, check your Device Manager—do you see any kind of flash device showing up there?
