Just run a Windows repair—but fair warning, you're going to have to mess with your programs all over again (you might even need to reinstall some of them) since you've wiped out all their settings.
Just a heads-up before you go deleting any accounts—make sure you actually grab whatever you need from your My Documents folder and the desktop first... wouldn't want to lose everything over a moment of impulsiveness.

showthread.php?t=522 (this is the link to the thread—not sure why the whole URL isn't working, but everything you need to know is right there)
Basically, it explains that reading PMs is possible, and honestly, it just comes down to the ethics of whoever holds the access. They can be read.

Original? You mean stupid? 🤣 That whole movie is built on a mountain of nonsense that couldn't happen in outer space—I mean, maybe in a cartoon world, but not here. And for the record, it wasn't a white dwarf, it was a brown dwarf. 😁
If you’re actually looking for some incognito experience, then you have to go about asking for it incognito—otherwise, what’s even the point? It isn't really "under the radar" anymore if you're shouting it from the rooftops. 😁
Which Office version are we talking about here? You can grab the language pack directly from the Microsoft site... though just a heads-up, it isn't free -> http://buy.trymicrosoftoffice.com/bu...&culture=en-US
Obviously the page isn't empty—if it were, we wouldn't be having this conversation... you probably just have some stray empty lines or random spaces lurking in there. Try selecting the entire document (ctrl+a) and you'll see exactly what's actually being highlighted on that last page.
It’s probably just some junk stuck in your registry—honestly, it happens all the time. Grab this: http://cid-be2a687d297ce921.skydrive.../folderfix.zip
Just unzip the file and run it—it'll force the correct keys back into the registry... should fix everything right up.
Could you maybe walk me through exactly what you're trying to pull off here? Like, give me some actual details... because if you just want to burn something to a DVD, you can basically use any burning software out there and call it a day.
If you’re running this little program http://www.4t-niagara.com/tray.html, honestly just ditch it—it’s notorious for being the culprit behind that specific .dll issue more often than not. By the way, is your Internet Explorer behaving itself, or is it acting up too? And have you actually tried testing things out with a different media player instead of just sticking to WMP?
You aren’t even watching a video or listening to music... you’re either stuck in a loop reinstalling an app... or you’ve already nuked the whole thing just to swap it out for something else entirely.

Basically, Aero shuts itself off while you're actually playing—though, obviously, if you alt-tab back to the desktop, it'll kick back in.
Gary Cooper7 said:I tried looking for it, but I don't see a compatibility tab anywhere... all I've got are General, Shortcut, Security, Details, and Previous Versions. Checked them all—nothing there to turn that off.🤷
Are you running this from an admin account? Is UAC turned off? Is the Program Compatibility Assistant service actually running? Open up gpedit.msc and hunt down Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Troubleshooting and Diagnostics\Application Compatibility Diagnostics\ — this part >must> be set to 'enabled'.
Gary Cooper7 said:Hey everyone I was wondering if there's any way to make Aero just shut itself off automatically whenever I'm gaming? It's basically dead weight while I'm playing anyway—totally unnecessary. 🤷
Just right-click the shortcut you use to launch the game, pull up Properties, head over to the Compatibility tab, and check the box for 'Disable desktop composition'.
