Tampons in Women's Health ·
wanderingcanyon3 said:I know you are. But let’s be real—you’re smoking like a chimney at a heavy industrial plant in Gary, Indiana, sister.😎 😁

So, I see she was talking about me. 🙂

Honestly, I just can’t wrap my head around how she even knows that. It’s like she has some kind of secret playbook we haven't seen yet. 🤔

I guess you could say I’ve just got that natural knack for things! 😬

Just because I acted in an adult film doesn't mean I'm not a virgin.😠 😠

If a tampon is inserted correctly, you shouldn't even feel it.

Ugh, it’s so easy to act like an expert when you’ve spent all your time soaking up "wisdom" from internet forums, isn't it? 😉 😁

I’m guessing that over the last four years, 😁
latica either finally figured out a way to deal with her tampon situation or just decided they weren't for her anymore.
There’s actually one girl on here who managed to pull that off—you should definitely reach out to her for some advice.
If you're interested, I can shoot you a private message with her info (it feels a bit awkward to call her out publicly like that).

Honestly, I realized during that other thread that you've got some things to work through. 😘

I have a specific target weight I need to hit by a certain date. Right now, I’m sitting at about 165-167 lbs, and I really need to get down to 155 lbs.

The thing is, I don't have access to a gym, and I absolutely do not want to lose any muscle mass. So, is there any way I can drop those extra 10 or 11 pounds—basically just "sweating it out"—in two weeks without feeling like total garbage or losing all my energy?

Honestly, if the weight comes back later, I'm totally fine with that.🙂

But wait, if you aren't trying to lose muscle and you don't have a gym to work out in, what exactly are you planning to lose in those 5 pounds? Your bones??
If you go on a "crash diet" for two weeks, sure, you might drop 6 to 10 pounds, but most of that is going to be water weight and muscle tissue—there's no way around that. Plus, you're going to feel pretty drained; it's a massive shock to your system.
If you take it slow so you don't crash, you might manage to lose maybe 2 to 4 pounds. But again, I'm still confused—what's the goal of dropping that much weight so fast?
Just try shaving, grooming, and slimming down your silhouette instead. 😬

Maria Rogers63 said:Just work out constantly and stop eating—that’s my routine, and I’m aiming for exactly 81 pounds.

I really hope you're, like, incredibly tiny.
And I'm also hoping that when you say "don't eat," you actually mean just watch your portions a bit more. 😲

Honestly, crash dieting is a total dead end. It’s much better to lose maybe 5 to 9 pounds over a month (the kind of weight that actually stays off) than to drop 18 pounds in ten days only to gain it all back in the next twenty—leaving you right back where you started, or even worse. 😉)

You really hit the nail on the head, Emily Hayes. You're clearly a sharp one. 👍

I’m right there with Steve when it comes to the UN.

I’d also throw a third point into the mix regarding the UN—it really forces people to be mindful about what they’re putting in their bodies, and honestly, you end up learning a ton about nutrition just by going through the process.

The downside, though, is that people tend to view it as a form of deprivation. They see it strictly as a "diet"—something with a clear start date and an end date—where they tell themselves they can go wild and reward themselves once it's over... and that’s exactly how you trigger that brutal yo-yo effect.🙂

It shouldn't be about jumping on a diet; it needs to be about changing your entire way of life.😉

Then again, at the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference. Any diet can work, provided the person actually shifts their mindset while they're still "on the program."

You’ll shed those 5 pounds, maybe even more, but you’re going to pack them right back on in that exact same number of days.
It isn't quite as catastrophic as people make it out to be, except for those first forty-eight hours; once you get past that initial hump, it's actually pretty common to lose your appetite entirely.
The downsides? You're looking at bad breath, a nasty aftertaste in your mouth, film on your teeth, general weakness, brain fog, sluggish reaction times, and just feeling totally unmotivated.
Getting back into eating is the hardest part—for the first couple of days after a fast, you absolutely have to stick to steamed vegetables. No fats, zero carbs, just light veggie-based meals (you actually have to avoid most fruits too), otherwise, your digestive system is going to take a massive hit.
A few days before you even start fasting, I’d recommend eating nothing but fruit like apples or tangerines (stay away from pears, bananas, or anything similar) just to make the transition to water much smoother.
This MUST NOT be done without strict medical supervision.

I’ve laid out everything you need to know here. If you're dead set on doing this, nobody can stop you. But my honest advice? Just cut your food intake by 30%, ditch the bread, juices, and soda, and stop eating by 7:00 PM. You’ll drop those 5 pounds that way, too. It’ll take you about a month instead of seven days, but the weight won't come rushing back, and the whole process will be way less painful.
If you pair that with some regular physical activity, you’ll end up looking great and feeling that deep sense of personal satisfaction that comes from actually achieving something you truly cared about.👍
If you really insist on taking a more drastic route, try doing two "fruit-only" days a week (you can find the details on the UN thread—basically just fruit, but no bananas). You’ll lose about 2 pounds or more, provided you don't immediately overcompensate the next day.
I'm telling you again: whatever weight you lose during a total fast, you will gain it all back in the same amount of time, regardless of whether you try to nibble on small amounts of food along the way.

Club World Cup: World Club Champions in Soccer ·
For South Americans, this tournament is everything—it’s their bread and butter. But honestly, the teams from Europe don't seem to take it nearly as seriously. For a club like Inter Miami CF, though, this is basically a golden opportunity to cash in on a couple more rising stars 🙂
It’s certainly not the first time we've seen an underdog pull off a massive upset just because they had more heart. Plus, let's be real, they caught a bit of a lucky break too...
I mean, if they’re seriously considering trading Lionel Messi for some absolute joke of a player—regardless of how much money is on the table—then they honestly deserve to get knocked out of the Champions League. Even if you factor in someone like Ronaldinho, it seems pretty obvious that without the firepower of Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o, they just don't have that elite edge anymore. Messi is still young, his prime is right around the corner, and he’s already proven he can carry a team on his back. It’s not like Inter Miami doesn't know what they have. 🙂
Look, time will tell, but I really doubt it (though I truly hope it doesn't happen)
If you ask me, I think Los Angeles is ultimately going to pass on 👍
