Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good general practitioner? I'm looking for someone reliable with a decent, professional nurse.

In that case, you might as well just shut the whole thing down ☕

There’s really never been a precedent for moderating people dragging out jokes or making light of someone’s funeral, divorce, or attempted murder (anyone who’s been on this forum longer than you can probably recall 😍), or whatever else comes up.
Not even a little bit. ☕

If my memory serves me right, Trach used to operate without any censorship back in the day.☕

So, are you really looking to play the martyr just because you insulted some people on the forum?

What an absolute disaster of moderation we have here 🤣 🤣

I’ve included the links below so you can take a closer look; it’s nothing but a barrage of insults 🙄
As for the links—take the one regarding Mr. Miller, for instance—it was perfectly obvious from the context of the post what those URLs were implying

- the controversial footage

- the assets of the big tech conglomerate

- the godfather, Mr. Miller

I seem to have forgotten ☕

In none of my posts did I actually mention any of the trivialities you're claiming I brought up ☕

All I provided were links to investigative reports detailing her assets, the specifics regarding her connection to Mrs. Bush, and the underlying reasons why the President hasn't moved to replace her—but apparently, those topics are considered off-limits 🙂

topic iskasapljen 🙄
The deleted posts—the ones that actually contained substance beyond just links meant to irritate the mods—have been scrubbed, leaving behind nothing but the replies to them.
Essentially, the entire thread was nuked, all because someone wanted to know if a certain lady appeared in any footage from the early nineties.

In short, I can't help but wonder if there’s a more sensible moderator out there than Charles Fox10 over in the politics section; someone who, upon seeing a rule violation, might actually take a moment to salvage the key points and clean up the thread rather than just burning the whole house down.
crimsonpanther16 said:Why is this being moved to such a random spot? I don't really follow the logic behind relocating this; it doesn't make much sense to me.
It might have made more sense to move it over to Psychology Today instead.

Honestly, 🙄
it feels like you've ended up somewhere in a cartoonish wonderland filled with Smurfs and talking animals.

If it isn't going to be in the right place, it would probably be better off moved to Reddit.
Since your father isn't actually living in the apartment, it feels even more frustrating that he’s refusing to let you use it.
I’m not sure, personally, I would try one last sit-down with him to discuss selling everything and splitting the proceeds fairly. If that doesn't work—well, if he won't budge, then you just cut him loose for good.

It’s pretty telling how he expects you to build everything from the ground up without a shred of help, yet she had absolutely no issue riding the coattails of someone else's property to secure her own footing.🙄

Look, you signed those papers when you were only twenty. You made a mistake, fine. In my book, you give it one more shot, and if it fails, you walk away.
Your mother’s mistake was failing to transfer the deed to your name while she was still around, or perhaps not giving you the heads-up—knowing what your father is like—to steer you clear of making that specific deal in the first place.
But at this point, what's done is done; from a legal standpoint, I don't think there's much left for you to do.
crimsonpanther16, I have to say, your father's move is pretty harsh 😢
and from what you've described, it doesn't look like family dynamics are exactly healthy over there 😢

Back when my own mother passed away, I chose to waive my entire share of the estate in favor of my father during the probate process—even though he never asked me to do that or pressured me into it
The main difference between our situations is that by the time I was facing those decisions, I was much older, already settled into my own home, and my parents had already gifted me my first property
Given those circumstances, it felt perfectly natural to me that the family house should belong to my dad

I'm not sure how large the apartment your father is living in actually is, but if it’s big enough that selling it could fund two smaller places, I think it would be the fair thing to do—especially since he wants his independence and peace—if he were to suggest that kind of solution
If a father basically pressures his kid into signing away their inheritance just so he can benefit, especially when that child doesn't even have a stable place to live, I find the whole thing absolutely repulsive.
It feels particularly cold when you consider the apartment is actually the mother's estate.

Nothing particularly special 🤷
You just lie there while they guide you into the tube (I can’t quite recall if they made me wear one of those hospital gowns, though I think I was just in my regular clothes—it's hard to say since this was ten years ago)
The only thing that sticks in my mind is having to sign a waiver confirming I wasn't pregnant

I’m on the lookout for a reliable general practitioner over in the western part of the city
feralseal6 said:Man, I’m basically destroying my whole diet right now. I'm out here devouring the entire animal kingdom just because I was feeling affectionate toward my kid, lol. And honestly, since everything sweet is totally off-limits for me lately—yeah, I started this diet today and I'm skipping dinner too, so don't even get me started—this thread might actually be my best bet. Maybe just reading this will distract me from all the sugar I'm craving.

🤣 🤣
An example of a slightly sharper sales clerk 🤣 🤣

On topic: gummy bears (the Happy Zoo kind 😍)

I once had a whole crowd of medical students shadowing my gynecological surgery
I honestly can't even recall their faces—the anesthesia kicked in before they could even swarm into the OR—but they were right there waiting for me during my follow-up appointment. To make matters worse, the OBGYN kept calling on them to explain my test results, and they just stood there stuttering and turning bright red like deer in headlights 🤣 🤣
After all that, he actually asked if I’d mind them being in the room during my pelvic exam. Honestly? It didn't bother me at all; if those kids can learn something by watching 😬

Just a heads-up: when you're at a major teaching hospital, there's always a chance a student might end up being the one "examining" you for their practical
It’s practically a comedy routine; patients whisper to one another, trying to explain what's happening while everyone watches 😁

On a much darker note, I had a far more uncomfortable experience—without any students involved—when I was working as a nurse at some creepy old clinic run by a total predator
Without any warning or reason, this guy stripped me down to my underwear—no bra, either—and because I was so young and incredibly shy (plus, he was the doctor, after all 🙄), I didn't have the nerve to tell him where to shove it
It wasn't until I started working more regularly that my colleagues pulled me aside and explained that, for him, that was just his standard operating procedure 🤮 🤮
The old man belongs in prison 🤮
You don't need an appointment, though if you’re willing to shell out a bit more, you can always head over to a private clinic like CityMD or one of those high-end wellness centers in downtown Chicago.
After my follow-up, I found myself feeling surprisingly unbothered by having a group of medical interns observing the gynecological procedure 😁—they even gathered around during my first ultrasound after the surgery just to check the results. It didn't feel awkward at all.

I honestly think that once you go through pregnancy, childbirth, or any kind of gynecological surgery, any sense of modesty or discomfort just evaporates entirely.
Help! My OB-GYN results are confusing in Women's Health ·
maybe seek out a second opinion

If I were in your shoes, I’d suggest looking into the Mayo Clinic;
It’s a bit surprising that nobody brought up the editors; they were honestly top-tier, though I can't quite wrap my head around why so few people mentioned them.

I finally sat down and listened to those last few tracks by Art Brut.👍

After that, nothing really grabbed my attention—just a bunch of filler, some snacks, and then heading home.
Absolutely stellar 🙏 🙏 🙏
The crowd was surprisingly chill 😍
The audience was just as fantastic 👍 (honestly, I wasn't expecting nearly this many people to show up)

Everything was organized perfectly—it’s like how Coachella handles things 👍. They had plenty of kiosks to swap out those wristband credits, the bar lines moved smoothly without any ridiculous waiting, and they actually provided enough benches to sit down for a breather...
Morgan Freeman severely injured in Movies ·
That’s just terrible news 😂

I’m really hoping for a quick recovery, though looking at the way the headlines are phrased, it’s hard to tell just how serious the injury actually is 😕
