Strange sensations in my pelvic area in Women's Health ·
Okay, I know half of you are probably going to laugh at me, but I really hope I'm not the only one experiencing this 🤣 🙂

So, for about two weeks now, I've been feeling these weird vibrations in my pelvic area (specifically in the vaginal muscles and just generally throughout that whole region)... It’s almost exactly like when I'm sitting on my bed and I feel that sensation of a phone vibrating somewhere nearby 🤣 and sometimes it happens even when I'm standing up...

Is anyone else out there feeling these vibrations? 🤷

Sarah Doyle54 said:The reasons for locking this thread are pretty obvious: constant bickering, posting photos that aren't yours, and making fake accounts just to upvote yourself.

What they aren't mentioning is how people were using the women's section to fuel drama that would then spill over into the men's section.

We're not doing that.

You see the exact same behavior on the men's thread—actually, more of it—but that thread stays open (is it just because it gets more hits?). This whole situation makes it feel like female users getting attention is fine, but if guys try the same thing, everyone jumps down their throats. It feels totally biased and unfair.
🙂

So, they shut down this thread—the only one of its kind on the main board—for reasons I can't even wrap my head around. Meanwhile, this exact same stuff is thriving over on the NSFW boards. You can post photos without jumping through all those stupid hoops, show everything without any restrictions, and nobody bats an eye. 🙂

What’s actually the difference between the main forum and the adult sections? Who is this actually bothering? Is it just some random Google algorithm playing gatekeeper? 🤷

Jeremy Cox49 said:Linda Johnson15, do they actually keep everything in place and "up"? 😁 I’ve never had luck with cotton bras before—I’m a 95D.
Maybe compare them to another brand you usually wear?

Yeah, yeah 😁 everything stays put 🙂.

They have underwire and a wide band... they aren't quite as firm as something from Victoria's Secret, for example, but I have relatively firm breasts that hold their own even without a bra (just genetics), so I don't really have an issue...

My package arrived last night with some bras and panties, and I have to say, getting three bras plus matching undies for $100 was actually a pretty solid deal 😁

They're soft, cotton, and actually sturdy enough for my size (95F)

Super happy with this purchase

I don't know how many other retro fanatics are hanging out here like me, but 🙂

seriously, check out this. And the best part? You can actually send them your measurements so they sew everything to fit you perfectly. Or you can just pick a different length, go sleeveless, change the sleeves, or choose whatever neckline you want. 😁Absolute genius.

I am totally obsessed. 😍

Laura Murphy2 said:My Dorothy Perkins overalls just showed up too, and they're huge on me.🙂
I guess I thought maybe they’d be a bit bigger, but there wasn't another size available, and honestly, they're really cute and super comfy. Now I'm just kind of losing my mind over them.🙄
these overalls:http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp...atalogId=33053

Send me a PM with the measurements and what you're looking to get for them. 😁

Hey ladies... I have this black dress (it's the one on the left under A. in the photo)... it just doesn't fit right, the top part is way too tight across my chest...

So if anyone wants to buy it or swap, let me know 🙂 I'm in the Chicago area (or we can do shipping through USPS)

Hit up Lidl today and picked up some shapewear—bodysuits, pants, dresses, the whole works 🙂 Prices weren't bad at all, and honestly, they seem decent so far. They had Large (fits 4/6) and XL (fits 8/10) in stock.

Was anyone actually at Next... did they have those deals you see online? 🙂

nimbleheron47 said:Honestly, they do it because they assume women with curves spend less on clothes—which, let’s be real, is probably true. There are a few layers to it: we’re always hoping we’ll lose weight, so we don't want to clutter our closets with stuff that'll soon be 😬 too big. But I think the bigger issue is that we haven't really developed that habit of spontaneous, "oh, let's grab this" shopping while passing by a shop... because hunting for clothes that actually fit... is pure torture. Just deciding to go looking for something in stores requires some serious mental prep 😢 We weren't raised for that kind of impulsive shopping since we never even had the option.
Plus, clothes for us tend to be more expensive, and the selection is always pretty limited.

I see it in my own life—lately, I've been buying so much stuff online just because it looked cute and the prices were great. I didn't used to shop like that simply because, around here, you don't really have the chance to find something feminine, trendy, and maybe totally unnecessary, but cheap enough to... just grab on a whim.

Finding anything for myself has always been a struggle (even back when I was at a "neutral" weight... which, for my height and build, is a size 6). It's like the fashion industry thinks women in larger sizes don't actually have waists! All those oversized tunics, tees, and button-downs end up being way too baggy in the waist and back for me. They just make me look wider instead of flattering my shape. But since that was the only thing I could find, I took it. I honestly looked best in a swimsuit. Everything else I could squeeze into just made me look heavier.

Deep down, though, I'm a total Southern belle 🤣 (saying that in the sweet sense, so my fellow Southerners don't get mad at me 😘) who loves to dress up. And I don't think I'm so huge that there isn't a single choice of feminine, non-frumpy clothing out there.

But things are slowly changing. And until our local retailers catch on, girls, just head straight to ASOS. Why keep sending American dollars abroad when US shops don't realize we're customers too?

Look, you've got it wrong. 😁I actually love browsing stores; it's just not like this here in the States. I'm in Oslo quite often, and I absolutely love hitting the shops there. It's such a blast because the stores actually realize that the streets aren't just filled with supermodels and carry stuff for girls who are a size 16 or larger 🙂—they actually acknowledge we exist! 🙂

But back home? I can't be bothered because I know there's nothing for me except those "grandma-style" basics at places like Old Navy.... I know my body, and I have no intention of wearing one pair of pants and two shirts just because I'm waiting to drop a few pounds. Once I hit my goal, then I'll go buy a whole new wardrobe.😁

Lindex in Scandinavia is basically heaven and earth. I used to shop there all the time—their lingerie is pure fantasy and they actually carry all sizes. You should also check out Kappahl; another Scandinavian brand that’s absolute gold for plus-size girls... even if their web shop is pretty basic, their physical stores are a dream. Honestly, Lindex was such a massive letdown when it finally showed up here in the States... just like most brands that are huge overseas but feel totally different once they land on our shores. It feels like this country is just built for muscle heads and models who wear a size 6 at most, leaving the rest of us completely out of the loop.

Once you master online shopping, you’re going to be so happy because there are tons of gorgeous pieces available in up to size 6. Honestly, maybe we could even team up and split the shipping costs on our orders.

Their size 16 is basically our 44. I placed my order and they arrived in the exact size I wear.

The dresses arrived 🙂 super happy with them...

This H&M piece is a size 44 and fits beautifully. Honestly, I was pretty surprised it actually fit me, since I usually have to grab a 46 on top because of my chest...

If you guys are down, we could start dropping links to the online shops here. And once our orders actually show up, we can post photos so everyone else can see how things actually fit 🙂

I'll go first:

A classic black dress size 18.
I'll post a pic as soon as it arrives 🙂
Wedding cakes and desserts in Weddings ·
I recently went to a wedding where they served desserts from an unknown bakery based out of a small town near Philadelphia. You can find them on Facebook under their business name

They looked absolutely stunning and tasted even better... I'm not sure what they charge, but I'd definitely recommend them! 👍

You should put the flowers in a little plastic tube that sticks right into the cake, and as for the ribbon... I’m not really sure how everyone else handles it. Personally, I use these dust-proof rolls that I set on top of the cakes, but they just get pulled off before anyone starts slicing. It’s not like you're serving a piece of ribbon on someone's plate anyway!

I totally get it—finding a baker who actually wants to make what you're asking for is a nightmare. I had the exact same struggle when I was planning my wedding. The worst part is when you show them a photo, pay them a premium, and then at midnight, this thing shows up that only vaguely resembles your dream cake...
