Wedding cakes and desserts in Weddings ·
We went with a dessert station featuring fancy cakes. We were honestly a bit skeptical at first—but once we explained the logic to our guests, everyone was on board. Basically, keeping the sweets off the main table means more room for drinks and actual food, plus nobody’s accidentally knocking over a tray of pastries. We were worried people might feel awkward approaching a dedicated dessert area since all eyes are on you, but that was a total non-issue. From the older crowd to the kids, everyone just grabbed a small plate and headed back to their seats. We had a mix of everything—mousses and creams in mini cups, cake pops, macarons, and the classic stuff. Everything disappeared, except for a few of the traditional slices. We’re thrilled with how it turned out. The setup looked gorgeous; as soon as I get a good photo, I'll post 🙂

Fancy cake or Lido?? Help me out here. This is honestly the last thing on my mind right now—I just need to pick a wedding cake and a dessert table for the venue. If any of you have actually looked into their quotes, please tell me if they're worth it! 🙂

We could probably use something a bit lighter—maybe an ice cream cake or something chilled. Anyone here actually tried making one?

Anyone here actually tried the cakes from Levain Bakery or Sugarman? 🙂

A vein just popped out 😢 on my right thigh—it’s stretching pretty much all the way down. It looks terrible. Everyone keeps blaming my running and the elliptical, claiming I’m overdoing it. I even bought some cream and tried slathering it on, but it did absolutely nothing. Now everyone is nagging me to see a doctor, but honestly, I’m terrified they’ll just tell me to quit exercising altogether 😢

Can this actually go away? No one else in my family deals with vein issues. Anyone have any experience with this?

🤣
Fine, let me get this straight—if I don't actually have an income, and my balance just sits there in my checking $0.00 for a few months straight, does that mean I can dodge the service fees?

I opened a checking account at Chase just to use that ATM that lets you deposit cash directly onto your card—I’ve got maybe 300-$117...it’s been piling up for years. Now this $1.75 fee is bugging me. What happens if I don't have those $1.75 on the card?

I dealt with tachycardia last year—my doctor claimed it was just because I downed a couple of sips of an energy drink a few hours after my coffee. Anyway, the day after a kinesiology session, my heart started racing like crazy, and I actually blacked out for a second in the cafeteria. I spent the afternoon at Mayo Clinic, where they clocked me at over 200 BPM. I ended up running all sorts of tests and wearing a Holter monitor just to figure out it was actually a thyroid issue. It doesn't cost you anything to just go see a doctor and get some tests done.
