I even tried pulling the RAM and rebooting, but I'm still getting the same result.
Tried hooking it up to an external monitor too... absolutely nothing.
If it isn't the hard drive, you should probably check the graphics card.
Anything could be causing this!

It’s been over two years old now, and everything was running perfectly until yesterday when, boom—the laptop just dies and won't turn back on.
When I try to power it up, the indicator lights show it's on; the battery light cycles between green and orange, and the Caps Lock stays solid green.
When I hit the power button, the machine stays quiet for about 15 seconds, then I hear the fans kick in, but after a minute, it shuts itself off again—and the screen stays completely black.
If anyone has any clue what might be causing this, I'd really appreciate the help.
Could be the hard drive? It's possible yours just kicked the bucket.
Is it actually worth sinking money into upgrading this thing with new parts, and more importantly, is it even doable?
Here’s the motherboard info:
General Information :
Manufacturer : Dell
Product : Latitude
Version : base board Ver
Serial Number : NBC19110
Support MP : Yes, 1 CPU(
Version MPS : 1.4
So, I just picked up a new laptop. Now the big question is: can I actually run some newer games on this thing?
I'm thinking things like FIFA 18, Call of Duty, and—of course—GTA 5,
even if I have to crank the settings down to low.
Here’s the breakdown of what I'm working with:
AMD A8-4500M Apa with Radeon(tm)HD Graphics 1.90 GHz
12 GB of RAM
AMD Radeon hd 7640 g + 7670 m dual Graphics Windows 7 64
Windows 7 64-bit
What’s the verdict? Is this actually a decent gaming rig, or am I dreaming?
And seriously, will it handle modern titles?
🤔🤔🤔
I’m trying to figure out if my current motherboard is actually worth keeping for an upgrade.
I want to beef up the specs a bit—since this board is pretty ancient—so
I was wondering if I could realistically drop in an i3 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and so on.
Also, will my power supply be able to handle the extra load? If not, please let me know why.
THANKS!
MOTHERBOARD MODEL:
MCP61S DDR2: AGF6110-M Series

Every time I try to launch Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, my screen just goes black and the whole computer restarts. It’s impossible to even get into the game—I have no clue what's going on here. Any advice? Everything else runs perfectly fine on my rig.
MY SPECS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Windows 7 Ultimate
64-bit
AMD dual core processor @ 2.61 GHz
5 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4650
I just picked up an NVIDIA GeForce GT 710.
Is there actually any real performance gain over an NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
or what's the main difference between them?

Out of all my installed games, only the Full Ride Scholarship is acting up.
Is this a driver issue or something else entirely? Honestly, I have no clue. If anyone knows what's going on, please help me out!🤔🤔🤔🤔
I finally got my graphics drivers installed, so I can actually launch the game now—which is a win! But there's a catch: the textures are loading incredibly slowly. Like, I'll walk into a room and just have to sit there for a few seconds waiting for the walls, the bed, or the floor to actually show up.
If anyone has any ideas, please help a person out.
Here is what I'm running:
Intel Pentium(tm)64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.61 GHz
5.00 GB RAM
64-bit OS, macOS
And an NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 graphics card
I've got plenty of free space on my hard drive.
Every time I launch a game, it loads for a second and then my whole computer just restarts.
Here’s the error report I'm getting:

I can't tell if this is a hardware issue or a software glitch—does anyone know what's going on? Please help.🙂🙂🙂
So, I’m thinking about picking up a martial art again—Karate is calling my name. I actually did Taekwondo for about three years back in the day and made it up to a high green belt level. Lately, I’ve been watching these clips of people using nunchucks, and now I'm hooked. I'm curious, though—which specific martial arts actually incorporate them, and at what stage of training do you typically start using them?
Also, while I have your attention, let me throw another question out there related to my previous one.
I was wondering which martial art specifically uses the sai weapon? And more importantly, can you actually buy one somewhere? Assuming, of course, that it's even legal to own one just for the sake of having it.
If anyone here happens to be an expert on this, I’d really appreciate an answer. Thanks!
