But then you see these DJ crews huddled over some laptop and a mixer wearing massive headphones, and honestly, it makes me wonder if Paladino takes his neurosurgery any more seriously than that.
Early Sepultura was truly something else entirely: desperate cry
Most people have probably heard the whole saga involving Mayhem, Euronymous, and Varg by now. It’s practically common knowledge. Likewise, almost everyone is familiar with their definitive masterpiece, "de Mysteriis dom Sathanas," featuring that iconic cathedral shot on the cover.
Well, that specific album—the one that’s spent years cementing its cult status as one of the greatest black metal records ever made, if I do say so myself—is what we're looking at here.
This concert features that entire album played live from start to finish, and honestly, they absolutely nailed the performance.
Attila is an absolute beast when it comes to live vocals!

This heatwave isn't doing anyone any favors when it comes to mellowing out personalities, either. 😁
If you're spending half your energy just wallowing in self-pity, you’re basically throwing your life away. You need to flip that script and redirect all that wasted effort somewhere useful if you ever want things to actually improve. Honestly, there's zero point in crying over spilled milk or dwelling on what's already gone 👍

"During his life, he worked everything from a Navy NCO to a school teacher and secretary, a journalist for Sunday Dalmatia and The New York Times, a court bailiff, a coach for the Kansas City Chiefs, a mechanic, and a marine engineer. On the artistic side, he was a musician, a gallery owner, a singer-songwriter, a poet, an aphorist, and a performer."
If you want to know about my version of paradise, ask me.
"And I won't, I won't beg the gods for mercy, Nor will I pray for the grace of your heaven. If you want to know about my paradise, just ask me. I’ve spent my nights resting on the chest of a woman who was truly satisfied.
So if you can't find a quiet little corner for me In your perfect little world, Then honestly, screw all the blessings this world has to offer. I'm heading back to my own paradise. " That's what Tom would say—an old-school anarchist.
I’ve never been one for political rallies; I spent my youth just grinding through punk, rock, and metal 😁
The local folk music scene doesn't do anything for me either—I can't stand that stuff unless we're talking about those rustic ranch retreats out in Montana where the food is actually decent.
Exactly, they’re just high-energy, fun as hell when you see them live.
But man, if we're talking about dehydration, my mind goes straight back to Slayer playing at a club in Brooklyn back in 2013. Klik
I don't think I've ever sweated that much in my entire life—that show was absolutely brutal. It's such a damn shame that Hanneman passed away just a month before, otherwise I would've caught them with that legendary original lineup.
I’ve caught them live at a safe dozen or so shows, and honestly, they haven't been boring once. They're a great band, really easy to get into. They started messing around with some weird, superficial nonsense later on, but their earlier stuff is top-tier.
And of course, this track—the music video is pure psychedelia. 😁
"Dive into the Water" is an absolute masterpiece from that album. I can already tell today's listening session with Summer Jam 👍 is going to be legendary.
The absolute worst part about cloning would be that I'd still end up being myself at the end of the day. Honestly, it’d be better if there was actually some chance of a mistake happening somewhere along the line. 😁
