Who knows, maybe you'll actually pick up something useful for once... 🙂

Anyway, you can grab tickets starting yesterday over at the Kovač Millenium CD shop on Fifth Avenue, and they'll also be available at the box office at Močvara this weekend.

Look, I actually like them, but I’ve already sat through their stuff five or six times now... so I think I'll head out and go catch Animal instead. 😍
Hey there. Just wanted to drop an announcement that pre-sale tickets are officially available. You can grab them at the Planet Music CD shop over on Fifth Avenue in Washington, D.C., or if you're out in San Francisco, you can pick them up right at the viva la pola festival.

I've been to maybe 15 concerts or so, and I honestly love them—they've always had such a great vibe 🙂

Honestly, nothing beats just cruising through the city on my bike with my headphones cranked up. When that song hits—you know, the one where they sing "My heart doesn't know how to beat anymore..."—man, I become a legitimate hazard to everyone else on the road 🙂

Look, you're a guy, right? In that case, Kokošinjac of the Star Panks forgives this low-life insult because it's clearly just driven by pure jealousy.

And a massive lack of actual facts. Who knows what else you're missing... 😬
I pretty much knew this thread would devolve into a bunch of female punks just tearing Hogar apart...

Now we're just waiting for Kevin Chavez3 to move this whole mess over to Kokošinjac...
Grace Kelly44 said:I hope Hogar is doing alright. It's been a while since I've seen them. 🙂

Grace Kelly44, I was just sitting here thinking you were such a Star Panks... 😘
Hogar is fine.
dmj said:Navra, who eventually ended up joining the Hare Krishna movement and married an Irkinja, used to brag about being accepted into the band back then, though I honestly can't vouch for whether that's actually true...

Let's get one thing straight: nobody was ever just a "temporary" singer for Motus.
Motus always had exactly one vocalist. Period.🙂

@Grace Kelly44/">@@Grace Kelly44: yeah, sure, they play 🙂
Just a heads-up to all the punkers out there: on August 22nd, we’ve got total CHAOS coming in all the way from California to play at The Roxy. They’re being backed by the local legends, Motus.
Tickets are $23 ($25 in pre-sale), but for the door price... well, we'll see what happens.

Go check it out!

The Misfits lineup change is a mess in Music ·
The sound setup at Boogaloo is 🙂 honestly, it’s a known issue at this point. If they don't rent better gear, you’re stuck listening to exactly what happened yesterday. Though, from where I was standing (way back by the rear bar), it wasn't the worst thing in the world. At least the view was decent.🍿

As for the music, they absolutely butchered the songs.🙂 🙂 🙂
I didn't even realize they were playing my favorite & most anticipated "Dig up her bones" until the second verse kicked in.
🙂
It really wasn't worth the ticket price. Such a bummer.

🤣 We really need to soak up this view while we still can... 🙂

Honestly, this was one of the best gigs The Fillmore ever put on
if not their absolute best
👏 👋 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

If only they would play for another hour or two later on...

Oh please, no way. It’s fine the way it is, besides I still have to make it to the quasi-Misfits show
🙂

British vs. American punk? in Music ·
Honestly, there are just so many killer bands out there right now that you can't even tell where they're from anymore... take the Dropkick Murphys, for instance. They're from Boston and they play some absolutely insane Street Punk... then you've got Snuff from the USA, who crank out this melodic Hardcore that would honestly make even Good Riddance look bad...

It’s kind of like when you were a kid and someone asked if you loved your mom or your dad more...
But for me, I’ve even got a soft spot for Miteserse🙂
John Carter21 said:a band that's actually trendy.

The thing is, from what I can tell, what counts as "trendy" changes depending on whether you're looking at high schoolers, college kids, some small town in the Midwest, or downtown NYC... you know what I mean? It feels like trends shift by the hour, so honestly, the whole concept doesn't mean much to me.

Maybe you're talking about bands that are getting heavy rotation on Coachella stages or mainstream radio stations. If that's the case, then Bud Light is definitely in style.

Back to the topic at hand: maybe even Arcade Fire will become "in" soon enough.
🙂
John Carter21 said:they put Bud Light in every single American commercial, yet they act like they're the most *hmph* important band in our country.

I have no clue what qualifies as an "important" band😕 I’ve only been listening to them for about 11 years... To me, Bud Light is a genuinely solid group. They've always worked their tails off to make it big here at home, and seeing them finally pull it off seems totally fine by me. Honestly, hearing their songs in commercials annoys me way less than anything else out there...🙂
Hedonism Girl said:they actually used Rebellion in an ad... how unique...😲 😲 😲
there really should be a special circle of hell reserved specifically for stuff like this...😠 😠

1) Would you honestly rather listen to some mindless, repetitive garbage x times a day?

2) Look, I’m just hearing about them for the first time right now, so when their commercial eventually rolls around, I'll pay attention. What's the actual big deal?

Last but not least important: Since when did talent and quality become exclusive privileges for bands that don't get any mainstream exposure? Are they suddenly less "alternative" now? ("altronativni"👍 ) Just aren't cool anymore?
