No, in my post—I can't recall the exact wording right now—I explicitly stated that I apologized for going off-topic and that I would accept a warning if necessary. I truly am sorry about that, but the post I was responding to actually included a direct question for me! Why was that post allowed to stay when it is clearly just as off-topic? I am planning to report it; I assumed you had noticed it while you were busy deleting things and locking the thread.

I am a bit perplexed. Why was my post removed while another off-topic comment—one that actually poses a question—remains visible? I wasn't even aware that we were deviating from the main subject; I simply saw a rather nasty comment directed at me and attempted to provide a polite, measured response. Now, I see that the hostile remark is still standing, yet my reply has been deleted entirely! 😕

Such a beautiful movie; it just wouldn't feel like Christmas without it. My absolute favorite part has to be the "to me, you are perfect" scene, though I also find the opening at the airport so touching—seeing everyone hugging always brings me to tears. And of course, that final moment where the little boy runs through the terminal is just wonderful. Everything in between is lovely too. 😍

Did you guys happen to know that the handsome guy who sang "All You Need Is Love" at the wedding passed away a few years ago? 😢

brightrider95, I completely understand. To be honest, I’ve been feeling quite frustrated with my own weight lately. I spent almost my entire life being quite slender; I don't think I ever weighed more than 130 pounds, and now, suddenly, everything has changed. Nothing I used to own fits me anymore.
Actually, I am not even sure what my size is these days. 😳 I am basically rotating through a few oversized XL t-shirts, which looks terrible because they are tight across the chest but hang loosely everywhere else. It's the same story with jeans; I’ve settled on a size 14.
I realize this might be more of a psychology topic than a fashion one 😁, but since I need to head back to campus soon, I could really use some practical advice on how to dress so I don't look heavier than I am. Your post actually gave me a bit of a boost, so thank you. 🙂

Have you had a chance to browse any of those shops the girls have been raving about? I recently popped into H&M, and they have some absolutely lovely pieces perfect for a stylish young lady. Honestly, I regret discovering it so late in the month, as my budget is already, well, a bit depleted.

Since everyone seems to be gearing up for various protests this fall, perhaps we should organize our own little demonstration—one that advocates for the right to dress decently in our city. 😠

@Majkumu, they actually locked my thread, which effectively stripped away my ability to argue that I'm not concerned with WHERE to shop, but rather WHAT to buy.

So, my dear plus-sized friends, what do you wear that actually looks decent? When I'm swimming in these oversized tunics, I feel like I look like a caricature of a certain old-school diva, or honestly, just like my mother. As for trying anything more daring, I simply haven't found the courage yet because I'm terrified everyone will just stare at me in shock. 😢
On the "What should I wear..." threads, I always feel a bit embarrassed to join in since everyone else seems so slim and stylish.
