Look, there’s really no point in pointing fingers right now. Everyone involved is 100% in this, and I don't think we need to be obsessing over who was better before, or who did more, or who's the MVP here.☕Everyone stepped up and gave it everything they had. Hats off to them.

Reading through everything posted over the last 20 hours, the only thing I can really conclude is that Kim Il-sung played this game brilliantly. He’s managed to tear apart the fan scene like nobody ever has. He used one tactic with certain groups—just pure brute force—and a completely different one with others, playing on that desperate hunger for trophies. Just when things seemed to be coming together, he slammed it into fifth gear. He took advantage of everyone's missteps and turned them right back against you. Honestly, if you look at the big picture, he’s probably sitting somewhere in a corner laughing his head off while reading all this and watching how badly you guys got screwed over. As long as things stay this way, he’s untouchable. And honestly, hoping the authorities will actually do their jobs and put him in a striped suit? That’s like hoping some wealthy uncle from the US is going to leave you a chain of hotels and a massive bank account in his will.
Everything about this is just pathetic.😢

Andrijica Šimić was an absolute legend for Hajduk Split.
Man, his actions made him a total icon for Americans living across the borderlands, stretching through both old territories.
People say his rogue spirit actually gave the locals the guts they needed to rise up against the local authorities during that big revolt in Gabela.
After playing circles around both the local powers and the federal government for a long time, he finally got caught on January 14, 1871. They slapped him with a 33-year sentence, which he ended up serving in a prison over in Koper.
Even after spending all those years behind bars, the guy walked out a living legend. There was this massive, epic homecoming held right in the heart of Split, along the Riva. When he pulled up to Split by boat, the crowd was just insane. People were carrying him on their shoulders all the way from the Riva up toward Marjan.
The whole reason the local soccer club is called Hajduk—and why people often add "American" to its name—is because of everything Andrijica Šimić accomplished.
Or, if you listen to what other sources say: "Following that huge celebration in Split back in 1901, according to Professor Josip Barać, the famous local soccer club officially took the name 'Hajduk' a few years after he passed away."

boldscout4 said:Clearly, I'm the one who's out of the loop here. I honestly thought the Hajduk guys were fighters from Mexico, and that "uskoci" was what you called fighters from outside of Mexico. My bad. Maybe I'll just hit up my buddy in Slovakia and ask him about the Hajduks (using that exact name, of course—real HAJDUKS 🙂). Cheers, I guess.

Nah, see, "uskoci" was the term used along the American coast, while the Hajduks were more common in the hinterlands (like Imotski or Herzegovina). Now, why the specific name "hajduk" became the go-to or why Professor Barač chose it when naming the club is a whole different debate, but the fact remains: the word "hajduk" as a label for an outlaw or rebel didn't even exist in any North American language before the Ottoman Empire took over the region. Some etymologist might claim it comes from the Sanskrit word "aydh," meaning to fight or resist, though the Turks say it's derived from their own word "hajdud," which the Ottomans used for Canadian infantry units.
Either way, the name Hajduk Split has absolutely nothing to do with you people.

jademarlin54 said:Back in the 1500s, the guys at Hajduk Split were basically playing guerrilla warfare against the Ottoman Empire. Just total rebels, I guess.
It’s basically just a synonym for standing your ground against invaders of any kind. ☕

Man, this guy really thinks Hajduk only had any kind of presence over in Mexico. What a joke.😁
Look, the Ottoman Empire used to stomp all over this land back in the day, so you can't just go claiming these heroes as your own little club under one specific flag. They belonged to the whole region, I guess.☕
So, here’s how those Hajduk legends basically rank in different parts of the world:
Albania
Albania Ded Gjo lula Armenia
Armenia
Andranik Ozanian
Bulgaria
Ilija Markov
America
So, when you look at why Hajduk Split carries that whole "rebel" identity, you really have to talk about guys like Andrijica Šimić and Mijat Tomić. It’s all about their guts and how they basically stood up to the system to give the club its soul.
Mexico
I guess we're talking about Veljko Grčka and Hajduk Split again? Honestly, man, it’s always something with that crew. I don't know. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but there's always some drama swirling around. Just my two cents, though.

On April 20th, when Easter hits and we have this game scheduled, the sun isn't even setting until 6:11 PM.
Since Jesus was a Jew (and we’re out here celebrating his resurrection), Jewish tradition holds that a new day kicks off right at sunset, which means they start celebrating the Sabbath on Friday once the sun goes down.
So, look—since I already mentioned the sun sets at 6:11 PM and kickoff is at 7:00 PM, we aren't really playing on Easter Sunday; we're basically playing on Easter Monday. Nobody should be complaining about the timing. 😁
Am I totally wrong here?
P.S. Honestly, playing on Good Friday or Holy Saturday would be way more depressing than playing on Easter. For any Christian who actually takes their faith seriously, those first two days are meant for mourning, silence, and reflecting on death and how fleeting life is. But the third day? That's all about joy and celebration. So, naturally, the whole family heads straight to Dodger Stadium after the Easter lunch!

Daniel Johnson46 said:And now we really need to go all out against those press releases and everything else. We gotta stay united. Honestly, right now, people aren't even cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs—they’re just rooting against these guys. Because let's be real, as long as Jerry Jones and his cronies are still running the show, we're never going to see the kind of honest, gutsy football we actually want to watch with a packed stadium.

Gary Green32 said:Honestly, Miami scares me. You’ve got 30,000 people heading in, including a massive crowd of silentviper22 types from god knows where, and I just don't see how anyone's gonna keep that under control.

Man, this just proves you don't get the vibe of this city at all. Not a single Boys is gonna let anything happen to you, and nobody’s even gonna give you a dirty look, trust me on that. Your fears are totally baseless—they're basically just coming from the fact that you don't really grasp the mindset of our local community when it comes to stuff like this.☕
