Gary Green32 said:Maybe try actually putting your name and where you're from in writing, so that "ridiculous" Paul can see it when you're out here calling people out publicly.
So, did you just wet yourself?..
Jesse Campbell said:If you actually ran into that clown in person, you’d probably be leaking crap out of your ears. 😉
Jesse Campbell said:Spoken like a true fan who uses a nickname inspired by some guy from the rival cheering section. It’s kind of like if someone from the BBB crowd on this forum was using the name Steve McQueen. 🙄
Jose Kern11 said:So, if some guy steps up publicly to take on a bigoted prick, writes a book exposing all his shady dealings, and you call him a ridiculous clown, you’re basically saying he’s just being a bit too intense, right?
Everyone’s a tough guy behind a keyboard, I guess. But because the dude is a little more extreme than what you're used to, you don't feel like throwing him under the bus alongside some local lowlife or a sketchy neighborhood jeweler.
Jesse Campbell said:That term is just local New York City slang; it’s got nothing to do with anything Canadian.
The Rangers were posting that on their own boards because they’ve started picking up the lingo too. I guess they’re just trying to convince themselves it isn't some shady political slur, but just Canadian instead... 🤣
Honestly, it’s kind of stupid to run away from certain NYC slang terms that have basically become part of the standard American vocabulary. Down here in New York, we all use words like "bash" all the time and nobody gets worked up about it... 😉
With the internet, the media explosion, and everything being so globalized now, we’re probably gonna end up using more of your slang, and you guys will pick up ours. For example, people in New York are saying "ridiculous" way more often lately, or using "contra" to mean against something... stuff like that...
Whatever, man. Just ridiculous. 😍
George Castillo142 said:What are we gonna do about the flares? Maybe we could work out some deal where there's like two or three fewer during the whole game, because honestly, it feels like our guys totally fell apart last night right after the stoppage.
p.s. don't take this the wrong way, but it’s not even the first time we've had a massive momentum surge, hit a stoppage, and then just completely screw ourselves...
Jose Lopez2 said:Just my two cents on the upcoming game this Sunday...
All those big announcements and banners all over town are pretty much pointless. Whoever planned on showing up will show up, but everyone else? Probably not...
The Rose Bowl is gonna see maybe 10,000 to 12,000 people at most.....
Ronald Brooks75 said:And then you've got those guys hanging out by the entrance. 😠
steeltrucker said:And let's not forget to give a big shoutout to that loser Luke Podrug. Total piece of trash as usual!
Jonathan Lewis3 said:man, even guys from New York used to call people weaklings back in the day, so who cares?
I'm all for working together on stuff, I guess, but you gotta keep it within reason—none of that excessive sucking up or other garbage. We can't just forget about fights and insults and all that other chaos that'll probably happen again God willing. Obviously, we aren't gonna spend the whole game just drinking and beating everyone up, but doing it once or twice? Yeah, that's totally fine...
Carol Lopez67 said:Look, Grgic pulls in about $10k a month, so just do the math. He came into the Kansas City Chiefs when they had 50 players on the roster, and he basically purged the squad down to 25. That freed up enough cash to stop paying those extra 25 guys. And look at the results—after 15 years, they actually made it into the group stages. What do you think would have happened if you guys were running things? You'd probably be playing in some random local tournament instead of competing in Europe. He took over the Chiefs with a massive deficit, so yeah, it’s obviously going to be an uphill battle. He kept two or three high-priced stars, while other guys were out wandering around the park because they wouldn't accept the pay cuts the previous management tried to force on them.
I'm telling you, I am one hundred percent certain that Joel Abrahamson doesn't want anything bad for the Chiefs and isn't trying to exploit them. He hired people he thinks are solid choices, and most of them are just regular employees who don't even have any connection to him. Honestly, what do you think would happen if we had some random strangers stepping in instead of Abrahamson's crew? The team would be in a total crisis right now. And you're writing a bunch of nonsense about Abrahamson being drunk??? Man, how many people get a little buzzed before heading to a game? Is that supposed to be a scandal? Then you claim he took off with 50 grand (not even sure if that's accurate), but seriously, just go stand in front of the North Stand and look at how many Black Knights there are... then watch a scuffle break out with a fan. Did you even see what that fan did? He starts trouble right in front of everyone in the West Section, and when the guy responds, suddenly *he's* the one at fault. It's like the Black Knights start the fight, but the guy who defends himself is the criminal. You're acting like a total amateur.
