Hey, quick question—if I'm heading into a post office to pick up some money via Western Union, am I actually gonna need to show them my ID?

Has anyone actually messed around with these $667 offers that don't require a payroll check... Like, do you seriously need a co-signer for this stuff?

Man, I was just thinking... pretty soon we’re gonna have a whole new batch of freshmen hitting high school who weren't even a twinkle in their parents' eyes the last time LAFC actually took home the championship title.

Like, when can I finally hit the gym and start lifting again? I heard some people say two months is the magic number, but is that legit, or can I jump back into training sooner? 😁

Somebody please weigh in here, I’m losing my mind just sitting around the house... 😁
So, I had my septum deviation surgery about two weeks ago, and I just wrapped up my first post-op checkup today. Total brain fart moment, though—I completely forgot to ask the doctor how long I actually need to lay low... you know, specifically when I can get back to hitting the gym and lifting weights. I’ve heard some people say two months is the magic number, but is that actually legit, or am I cleared to start grinding sooner? 😁
Hey everyone,

So, I'm heading in for septoplasty soon at the Mayo Clinic, and I was wondering if anyone who's actually been through it could give me the lowdown—just a few quick bullet points—on how the whole thing goes down? Like, what's the deal with the pre-op and post-op routine? I know every surgery is a bit different depending on how intense it is, but I'm just trying to get a general vibe... like, do they actually operate on the second day after you check in? How long am I stuck there?

I'm not actually from Chicago, so I'm basically just trying to give my parents a heads-up so they don't freak out too much. 😁

Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂
Wait, so you're telling me I'm sidelined from the gym for two whole months after surgery? 😢
I honestly have no clue where I got this from before—I swear I read somewhere that you head back home the very next day, and then you've gotta go back in maybe 5 or 6 days later just to get those tampons pulled out.
slydriver56 said:So you’re basically stuck in NYC the whole time—like, if you're in the hospital for a week, they don't even take the swabs out until day seven, and then you've got nothing until your first follow-up a month later.
That was my experience when I had to go in... just sitting there waiting.

Can anyone who's actually dealt with a deviated septum recently weigh in here? Like, can someone confirm if this is actually how it goes down or if I'm just losing my mind? 😁
Hey, it's me again... 😁

So, I'm looking for some intel from anyone who's actually gone through a septoplasty. How long am I stuck in the hospital after the surgery? And how many days until the follow-up to get those nasty tampons pulled out? I'm heading over to Mayo Clinic, but I'm not even local to NYC...
Betty Edwards22 said:Yeah, so in certain cases—if the surgeon thinks it’s clinically necessary, obviously—and they know you aren't going to make it in for an outside CT scan, they just handle it as part of the hospital procedure. There's only a limited number of scans available for that...

So, did they actually give you a date for the surgery? They really should have by now...

Yeah, my appointment isn't until the end of April.
Betty Edwards22 said:You might wanna double-check that logic, because the scenario you're talking about definitely doesn't count as outpatient testing. If they do it after you've already been admitted—that's hospital testing, plain and simple—and your surgeon just orders it right there on the ward.

Yeah, well, when I was actually in for my exam, the doc told me straight up I'd get the CT scan done right then and there. But then, once the exam was over and I was standing at the window holding all my paperwork, they hit me with the news—apparently, I’d have to wait six months and go hunt down an outpatient referral instead.

That whole "six-month wait" thing... I'm guessing that was specifically referring to the Vinogradski Hospital mess...
So, what’s the deal with the CT scan—do I have to handle the scheduling myself? My doctor mentioned I'll be getting it done over at Vinogradski Hospital (not even though I'm not from Chicago, by the way)...
Hey everyone, quick question for you guys.

So, I’ve got surgery scheduled—septoplasty—at Vinogradski Hospital this April, and the staff at the front desk just told me I need an outpatient referral for a CT scan.

Now I'm wondering... when does that actually happen? Like, am I doing that scan just a few days before the big day? And more importantly, do I have to go out and schedule the CT myself, or is my doctor going to handle all that prep work at the clinic where I'm getting the tests done before surgery?

Thanks!

Amra’s out here stirring the pot with some fans, so I figured I’d jump in and respond to all those threats and insults... honestly, I’m sending everyone a little divine blessing—it is the holiday season, after all! But seriously... when people start screaming, "The Federation is trash, you ruined football"... what exactly do they think is ruined? America is this tiny, annoying little country that somehow made it to the World Cup AGAIN while way bigger nations are stuck watching from home AGAIN. We’ve got two clubs playing in the Europa League, and even though we were pretty pathetic the last couple of years, we still played in the Champions League... our players are killing it at Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Sevilla FC... even the domestic league is smaller now and actually interesting—that derby on Sunday was top-tier quality...!! So, what’s "ruined"? Please. Football is the least broken thing in this absolutely messed-up country...

🤣 😂 🤦

And the absolute best comment:

Dragutin Heigl, man, this is just embarrassing, Igor... don't act like you're some saint here. I mean, look at the league—it’s basically just Dinamo Chicago and Lokomotiva running the show together. It's pathetic. And honestly? That whole scene at the gate near the North Stand was a joke. After being treated like literal cattle by security—I'm talking about them frisking both me and my six-year-old kid—some random security guard in black with a clipboard actually thinks he has the authority to ID me. He's a security guard, not a cop! I really hope you don't get treated like that when you're heading into the luxury boxes... Then there's the third disgrace: the constant fire sale of Dinamo Chicago's talent. If you actually sat down and wrote a list of every player we've sold over the last eight years, you wouldn't have a roster—you'd have a European super-team. Instead, we're stuck with a squad that's basically a punching bag in UEFA competitions. Look, I get it, clubs have to sell players to survive, but the problem is we gut our best talent every single season. You can't build a powerhouse in Europe if you're constantly selling off five national team starters from your starting XI... Fourth thing—the stands. They are empty. Dead. I've been going to matches since I was eleven years old... I'm twenty-three now, and I didn't start showing up because my wife works at the club. It was never like this. It's eerie how empty it is. The Bad Boys never filled the stadium on their own anyway; it was always the local city folks who showed up to pack the stands. Now? We've got neither group. Neither. Fifth embarrassment is that the soul of this historic club has just vanished. Kids don't come to Dinamo Chicago anymore to celebrate their favorite team—they come because they know they'll be shipped out to a bigger club as fast as possible. Look, I knew you way before all this club stuff, and I think the whole family is great. I really hope we can hang out and ring in the New Year together... catch you later, neighbor... give my best to everyone.
