Reddit Trading: Part 2 in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Isn't it actually better to have everything in one spot instead of scattered across a bunch of different PDFs? 🤷

The only thing you can really do is ask the Reddit mods if they'd be willing to meet you halfway by creating separate threads for buying and selling just to keep things organized. If you approach them normally and explain your reasoning, I doubt they'll give you any trouble.
I don't know, but I think she should be able to get it.

I have no clue how they have everything logged in their computer system or how much leeway the software actually gives them. My guess? General practitioners won't give you any trouble, the only real issue might be if the system itself blocks someone from ordering that many boxes all at once.
The impact of power lines and substations in Health ·
In the natural science PDF, this topic has been chewed over a hundred times already. If you have questions, just go dig through their old threads.

Locked.
And how long does one box actually last you?
How long are we talking here? And what kind of condition is this?

I figure if you just walk into the doctor's office, tell them you're heading out on a long trip and need a backup supply of meds, they'll hook you up. Though, honestly, it probably comes down to what exactly you're taking and the dosage.

Take me, for example. If I go to my doctor and ask for a six-month supply of my thyroid meds, she’d probably just write it off since it's basically just two boxes of pills. But if someone needs ten boxes of something heavy-duty, that might actually be an issue. 🤷
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
So you’re having a blast too, huh? 😬 Just my luck—of course the uterine cramps decide to team up with intestinal issues today. Now I’m basically sprinting to the bathroom every thirty minutes. Greatness.

Being a woman is just wonderful. 🙂
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
Ladies, does anyone else get these mild cramps a few days before your period actually starts?

As if dealing with the actual cramps on day one isn't enough, and then having them again the next day—now lately, I’ve been getting these cramps a couple of days early. 🙄 Sure, they’re way milder than when my period actually hits, but it still gets on my nerves.

Nope. 🙂
Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
I’ve taken those pills a few times before—usually whenever I was heading out for prom or hitting the road for a long trip—and they never once made me drowsy. 🤷
Here’s the thread about thyroid issues: Thyroid - all the ways it messes with us Part II, you'll find every answer you're looking for right here.

Regarding your lab results, those T3 and T4 levels are within the normal range, though your T3 is sitting right at the bottom limit. Your TSH is elevated, which points toward mild hypothyroidism—basically, your thyroid isn't producing quite enough hormone.

You should definitely schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist. They'll decide on the next steps, which will probably involve an ultrasound and testing for thyroid antibodies.

I’m thinking some of his mom's old buddies headed over there. One of them was dealing with some serious back issues—think a pinched nerve or something similar—and needed surgery.

Honestly, I have no clue if, after everything went down, she actually ended up having to go through with the operation or not.
Skin fungal infections: any advice? in Health ·
So, did you actually see a dermatologist?

Not all fungal infections are the same thing. There are several different types out there, which means you need specific medications or creams for each one.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can only pick up something like Lotrimin over the counter. For anything else, you'll probably need a prescription.

So, what’s actually in this grease?

There’s probably something similar out there, just under a different brand name.

I’d love to see how you feel when your username is dragged through the mud on different message boards, with people calling you an idiot, a bitch, or a loser. I bet you wouldn't find that so charming.

Tell me, do you honestly think it's okay for someone to go after your family, hurl insults, or even make death threats just because of one stupid post or a deleted thread? Because that happens way more often than you realize. And yeah, nobody is forcing us to moderate, but some of us actually give a damn about keeping our space clean, so we step up.

analognomad59 said:No, no, no, you're missing the point... if a warning is worth 30 points... shouldn't it take more than three of those 30-point warnings to trigger a ban? And if a mod posts in Thread A saying that from now on they aren't handing out warnings for a specific violation but are jumping straight to a ban—assuming that's within their authority—how am I supposed to know that unless I happen to open Thread A? If I commit the same mistake in Thread B, I could get banned instantly even if I haven't hit the point threshold yet, despite what the official rules say...🤷

A moderator can issue an immediate ban if everyone is intentionally and collectively ignoring a rule or a warning that's been clearly stated.

So, I’ve been watching the drama unfold over on Red Bull for a few days now, and honestly? Hats off to the mods. They really need to sweep all that garbage out of here.

The old moderation crew was way too soft—they were basically letting everyone get away with murder. I think this current lineup is spot on, though. They’ll have everything back in order before you know it.

And frankly, it’s embarrassing to see certain people throwing insults at moderators who are literally volunteering their own free time to clean up the mess you people made. This goes specifically for those women over on that other forum who are constantly spitting venom at specific mods like they’re some kind of heroes. All because of one wannabe theme.
Strep throat symptoms and treatment? in Health ·
Jerry Fowler9 said:Hi,

I dealt with Group B Strep in my cervix for over a year and a half... I went through so many rounds of antibiotics—it was honestly exhausting.

Then, I stumbled upon some info suggesting garlic might actually help... and today, for the first time after endless testing, I finally got the news: my swab came back negative for Group B Strep!

I managed to beat it just by using garlic🙏—so I wanted to share this in case anyone else is struggling. Give it a shot!

Oh, and I also used a herbal cream called Teuta that I picked up at the local pharmacy.

Did you eat it, drink it, or apply it topically? 😁

I dealt with it by taking Clavicin and Erythromycin, but eventually, I cleared it with crystalline penicillin (I had it everywhere, so I ended up getting two rounds via IV at the hospital).

It's a nasty, stubborn beast once it takes hold.
crimsoncanyon2 said:Maybe that’s true for you, but don't assume everyone is the same. If someone is on a diet and drops 10 pounds in 30 days, we call that a healthy, sustainable plan. So where's the actual difference?
It all adds up to the same thing. You can't eat much when it's sweltering outside, plus if you're working out regularly, a calorie deficit is inevitable. Weight loss follows.
Besides, there is a massive difference between losing 10 pounds and losing 30 pounds...

Losing 10 pounds in a month is one thing, but losing 10 pounds in two weeks is an entirely different animal. That's what we're talking about here. This girl wrote that she dropped 13 pounds in just two weeks. That isn't normal.

Go ask any doctor in the country and they'll tell you the same thing: one to two pounds a week is the sweet spot. Anything beyond that starts messing with your health. It's totally fine to lose a bit more weight during a hot American summer, but dropping 22 pounds in a single month is just not right.
From what I’ve gathered, they’ve only really rolled out the e-prescriptions so far; the digital referral system hasn't actually kicked in yet. For those referrals to work, every single hospital needs to be fully geared up—I'm talking everything from updated computer workstations to properly trained staff. Honestly, I think we're still going to be waiting on that part for a while.
crimsoncanyon2 said:Why would it be too much?
If it’s perfectly normal for someone to pack on 10 or 15 pounds over the winter just by eating more and moving less, why wouldn't it be just as "normal" to lose that weight spontaneously during the summer? It's not like we're lumberjacks craving prosciutto, sausages, stews, and pastries when it's hitting 100 degrees out there...
Plus, if you have low blood pressure, stuffing your stomach in the heat is a bad move anyway. All it does is make you sleepier.

It isn't normal to gain 10 or 15 pounds in two or three weeks, and it isn't normal to drop it just as fast either.

I lost 30 pounds in about six weeks once (it was a thyroid issue), and I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. My hair started falling out in clumps, I caught strep throat that spread everywhere—took me five months of fighting it just to get clear—not to mention my immune system went totally haywire after that. It started attacking my joints and blood vessels. Now I've got a whole list of diagnoses to manage.

Don't mess around with this stuff. If you're losing massive amounts of weight in a short window, there's an underlying cause, and you need to see a doctor.
