Justin Taylor, not EVERYONE on this board is obsessing over the new Metallica album. 😉 When I think of them, I put on something between "Ride The Lightning" and "Metallica," and I still need to actually hear the new stuff. No rush on my end.

It isn't about being obsessed—it's just that when I read your post, it sounded like two different people talking: one like Phil Anselmo and one like James Hetfield.... it made me wonder what it would look like if your avatar started yelling like that. I pictured two versions: a masculine vibe with Anselmo's style or some crappy shit with Hetfield's whining... the second one was punoooo funnier, so that's why I asked.
Hopefully that clears things up... and no, I'm not obsessed with St. Anger.

That’s the problem—everyone listens to them, but nobody would actually die for them... only a tiny fraction of fans are truly dedicated. And honestly, what’s especially pathetic about Metallica and Nirvana is how people strut around wearing their shirts, but when you actually try to talk to them about the music, they don't even know 5% of the actual history. 😠
