stormybadger8 said:I have to hand it to them—Renault clearly has the raw pace, and I guess I was wrong to doubt it; it doesn't even seem to matter how much fuel they're lugging around, the fact remains that Renault can put together an incredible qualifying lap. But let's not lose sight of the bigger picture: Brawn GP is consistently dropping blistering lap times, basically hovering around the 1.19 mark and spending a good chunk of their time down in the 1.18s. That tells me they’re going to be absolutely lethal in the race because they can either stay right at the front or right there in the thick of it. Plus, their reliability is just mind-blowing; they’re clocking up the most laps at every single testing session without running into any major gremlins. It looks like Brawn somehow stumbled upon—or maybe masterminded—the perfect formula and ended up with a phenomenal car.☕

All things considered, I wouldn't be surprised if the CEOs and Managers over at Honda decide to commit collective Harakiri once they wrap things up in Australia. 😬

Brawn is still the old fox in the game, isn't he?

Why hasn't anyone else managed to pull off anything even remotely similar?

But look at the math—there was still 0.3 left in the fuel tank, so he didn't actually need to push it that hard; honestly, I don't think that single lap really changed the game for him at all.

stormybadger8 said:Oh, you totally overlooked the fact that Alonso was running on basically nothing—maybe 0.03 liters of fuel left in that car.🤣 Honestly, they should've just towed him straight to the Box after a lap like that.😁

It’s painfully obvious that Renault is lagging way behind Brawn GP 😉 and probably even trailing behind Ferrari and BMW, though we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the field shakes out.☕ BGP is putting up consistently blistering lap times, whereas Renault seems lucky if they manage to pull off a single decent lap in an entire day.

It’s easy to talk big when you're driving a rocket ship; I actually thought Renault had actually accomplished something here.🙏

Here’s the link for those of you who actually enjoy digging into the data. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find the full breakdown of all the stint times...

It just keeps getting more impressive

If you happen to be picking up some reading at a local gas station or newsstand, just keep an eye out for EVO. It’s got that thick, sturdy cardboard cover, and you'll spot a little Formula 1 cover printed in the bottom right corner—though if it gets buried under a pile of other magazines, you might miss it entirely...

So, does that mean you can actually ship EVO over to Canada now???

Red Bull Renault - Faster and better than Renault 😬
Brawn GP Mercedes - Faster and better than McLaren Mercedes🤣
Williams Toyota - Faster and better than Toyota😁

And if we really want to go down the rabbit hole and make it happen 😈

Scuderia Toro Rosso Ferrari - Faster and better than Ferrari🤣

Then we’ve officially seen everything; the spectacle would be complete, and there wouldn't be anything left to wish for😍

Berni and Max, if you're reading this, please, grant us this one wish🙂, because if they can't settle it out on the track, maybe they can just hammer it out over a green table😬

Yeah, we're being troublemakers here😠 but don't you dare bring Ferrari into this😁

I don't even know what to make of all this, but either Brawn GP is aggressively hunting down sponsors or they are just damn fast.🤷

Look how things have turned out; McLaren could actually end up being the backmarker team on the grid.😢
Even though these are just tests, they feel completely different from anything we've seen before because these are entirely new cars, everyone is bunched up at the track, and I highly doubt anyone is playing games by sandbagging their pace. We aren't in the old days anymore where you could test endlessly; everything has been scaled back, testing sessions are rare and mileage is limited, so during these runs, you really have to give it everything you've got or you're essentially finished, because there's no second chance to fix things later.☕

Personally, I’ve always been a skeptic when it comes to testing; every single year they hide their true potential, so even if you think things are different this time around, I just can't bring myself to buy into it.☕

Well, I guess you're right; Williams is just subtle enough, whereas Force India F1 really pops with that green and orange combo

This stuff they slap a "natural" label on in the grocery store? It hasn't even been in the same zip code as nature. It's just a laboratory experiment masquerading as breakfast, and honestly, it's probably more toxic than a warm Pepsi 😉 trust me

Look, nothing can possibly be worse than a lukewarm Pepsi ☕

It’s not a bad look, per se, it’s just that nose and those front wings are absolutely brutal on the eyes.🙏

It really makes you wonder what kind of hell a person has to endure just to make it into F1.🙏

Seriously, how can someone with over 3,500 posts still be struggling with the basics of uploading an image?

I mean, sure, I haven't really had to do it that way before, but sometimes you just gotta adapt if you want things to actually work.

So, here’s the deal: I’ve got this image sitting right there on my hard drive, and I go through the whole process of using the browser to upload it, but the second I hit post, it just vanishes into thin air. It’s like it never even happened. Does anyone actually know how to make this thing stick?
