You'll see when the green flag actually drops; you'll feel the difference then.

darkmarlin16 said:It’s going to be a bit of a circus out there. Honestly, I don't see Massa finishing this one; the only way he's crossing that line is if he ends up wrapped around the Wall of Champions. The real tragedy of it all is that he isn't even a world champion himself, but hey, what does it matter? He'll probably find his way right into that wall regardless.🤣

What an absolute joke.

And who exactly whispered that little prophecy into your ear?

That wall isn't even there anymore; they moved it. 😉

And don't even get me started on those corners—they're absolute death traps.👋

Just keep your fingers crossed.☕

Even with Mreža Plus carrying the race, they didn't bother putting the qualifying sessions on. What a joke. I guess I'll just settle for watching the actual race and call it a day.

William Lee45 said:Honestly, if you look at the sheer talent involved, Robert Kubica was absolutely in a league of his own—the man was a total legend.

😲 I'm planning to head out to the coast this summer, so I figured I'd throw this out there—it'll be a perfect chance for us all to finally get together and meet in person.

Look, if you’re so sure about where this path leads, why don't you walk it first? Go ahead, let someone else test the waters and see if your "future" actually holds water before we all jump in blindly.

I mean, he's probably going to sweep the next three races too, just watch. ☕

Roger Wright94 said:ESPN does live coverage (and replays) for the free practice sessions, but they just give you highlights and delayed coverage for qualifying and the race.
ABC broadcasts everything live.

ESPN

Friday 4:00 PM Free Practice 1
Friday 7:55 PM Free Practice 2
Saturday 12:15 PM Semi-final Practice
Saturday 11:00 PM Qualifying
Sunday 1:00 PM Qualifying
Monday 8:00 PM-9:30 PM Race

ABC

Saturday 5:45 PM Free Practice
Saturday 6:55 PM Qualifying
Sunday 5:45 PM-6:45 PM Countdown
Sunday 6:55 PM Race
Sunday 12:30 AM Highlights

I’m going to record the race myself, so if anyone needs a copy, just reach out. (No FTP transfers allowed)

Regarding the sheer amount of soccer being shoved down our throats, I’d add that it’s absolutely unforgivable how our networks would probably broadcast some random matchup like Tunguzija-Zanzibar, yet we can't even get a recording or a highlight reel of the Celtics-Lakers game.

And speaking of Formula 1 and PBS, it reminded me of another ridiculous moment. Back during the Universiade in the middle of a major US city, one Sunday right at 2:00 PM, instead of the Formula 1 broadcast, they decided to show the opening ceremony for a local festival in Central Park and some rowing competition. 😱

heh, our TV networks are garbage; here in the States, we have even worse cases, but at the very least, it’s happened at least ten times where they have zero signal during a Formula 1 race because their entire system just crashes😠 😠but whatever, the worst part is that they never actually improve😢 😢and we end up looking like fools while paying our licensing fees😠

I'm planning on catching GP Montreal 2008 on ABC via the web if they decide not to broadcast it, though honestly, my gut tells me I'll be left staring at a blank screen instead.
Canadian Grand Prix 2008 in Formula 1 ·
So, does any of this actually exist online?

darkmarlin16 said:Look, you're just watching a recording there. If you're tuning into ABC, you just have to adjust the aspect ratio to 16:9 so the picture doesn't look all stretched out and weird.

But wait, does ABC actually carry the live broadcast?

Seriously, give it a rest already. That cheapskate is absolutely driving me up the wall.

It’s all pretty much the same thing, really. I mean, having Hayat is a huge plus because you aren't constantly hitting a wall when it comes to language barriers; being able to navigate different tongues makes everything just smoother.
