I mean, yeah... I have to admit, when you're driving through heavy fog, it’s a hell of a lot easier to track one big red light... I had one right in front of me last night... thanks to him... He's a real hero, tearing through the night and the mist way too fast, but "safely," of course... 😛

At the concert, all we were missing was some fancy wine and cheese paired with candlelight; honestly, the vibe was almost too cozy...
Anyway, regarding the whole alcohol and touring thing, I’m setting some ground rules for riding in my car from now on: no excuses, no eating greasy junk and wiping your hands on my upholstery, and absolutely—without question—I am not driving anyone who’s wasted. This is the second time in a row I’ve had to pull over on the interstate just so people can go vomit. And last night? The fog was thick enough to cut with a knife. God, what a mess. Either bring your own barf bags, or stick to riding with an indie band like Naked Raygun or Shellac...
🙂
You're acting way too polite here.... 🙂 .... what about the person behind the wheel... 😕 .... who happens to be completely hammered....
What kind of idiots are we... why did we even bother reading this stuff in the first place... and you, you little octopus, who exactly do you think you're answering...
Tyler Grant86 said:I actually just opened up a thread dedicated to that album recently... anyway, Jose Watson66 owns the original, so let him weigh in... 🙂

np. Futureheads - Man Ray
Well, at least I have something worth being nostalgic about... right?
Gonna go listen to Helmet... heh, look at me now, just like all those freaks I used to laugh at for being stuck in the past... and here I am, doing the exact same thing... none of this new music actually hits...
Tyler Grant86 said:I honestly can't fucking believe this... I was born on March 17, 1991. Back then, I was just some kid helping out the duty officer at the Fort Bragg barracks... and not even five miles away at a local gallery, The Jesus Lizard was playing a set... I remember crying my eyes out that night from the sheer intensity of it all.😠
.... he he.... The Jesus Lizard.... man, they meant so damn much to me back then... god, I wish I could go back for just one more show..... oh yeah...

I’ll grab some clippings from magazines, newspapers, travel guides, or even an old National Geographic, then glue, peel, and doodle until it looks right... honestly, I usually end up liking my DIY versions better than the actual studio art. 🙂
And you actually think they look better than the originals? Interesting...
Tyler Grant86 said:haha, I knew it... honestly, looking back, we all should have just grabbed three copies each. In a few years, this whole thing might be worth a massive fortune...
ah......you really think the guys aren't going to squeeze out at least another xyz copies once they realize that a limited edition, out-of-print release is basically a money printer.....
I’m starting to feel like there isn't much of a difference anymore... I mean, okay, maybe it's not quite like that, but still... Ryan.... you idiotdddddddddddd....🙂
Did I seriously miss this whole thing... Black Flag is getting back together...
Greg Ginn has reunited Black Flag. Honestly, the only reason why this Black Flag reunion is taking place is because Greg Ginn is able to take out the greed factor of doing a reunion. His plan? He will be giving the money made at the reunion shows to fuel Southern California Cat Rescues. Both shows are happening in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium. Mark your calendars, because the dates for the Black Flag reunion are September 12 and 13.
For the direct support, Black Flag both nights will be a new band that Greg Ginn is putting together which will devote their set to playing the my War album in its entirety. The band will feature Greg Ginn on Guitar, Dez Cadena on Guitar, my War Bassist Dale Nixon on Bass, Ducket on Drums, and Mike Vallely on Vocals. Here is the rest of the lineup...
ha ha. I picked this up last Thursday at Aquarius. The guys over at Atlantic Records often leak stuff like this way before the official release date. Once the shipment hits the floor, they just put it out there...
The whole debate is pretty much pointless. But I have to say my piece.
Sonic Youth paired with Fugazi. That’s basically the greatest band combo on the planet. It’s an easy concept to grasp... there’s really no point in trying to explain it to anyone who actually knows the music.
Guys, stay far away from anything involving Palo Alto. That guy hangs out way too much with Corgan. I mean, he’s even playing with that band of his... it's never going to end well.
Still, I’d love to catch him live. So, fingers crossed, I guess... though I'm skeptical.
Oldham is going to do this tour without the full band. Man, I really want to see it. His records have been sitting on Spotify for ages now, definitely worth a download if you can find them.
