wearymason4 said:..what do you mean by "no network icon"?? Look at your taskbar, down in the bottom right corner near the volume icon. You should see a little Wi-Fi symbol there... just click that, pick your network from the list, and hit "Connect." If that icon isn't showing up at all, go ahead and check the "Maid > Network adapters" section. See if your Wi-Fi adapter has a little yellow triangle or an exclamation point next to it while the other hardware looks fine—that usually means something's wonky with the adapter or you're missing a driver. Also, try right-clicking the Wi-Fi adapter and checking "Property" to make sure it's actually set to "Enable" so it can turn on.
ps: It’s way easier to help out when we actually know what kind of laptop you're rocking and which OS you're running, instead of us all trying to play psychic
Under Network adapters, there's a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark (an error) sitting right in front of the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport adapter laptop HP 250 G3 Windows 7
ironcyclist58 said:So, what you're saying is the specific laptop model doesn't even matter? Because if it works fine on your phone, then the issue is clearly with the machine itself... 😕
wearymason4 said:Next time, maybe toss in what kind of laptop you're rocking and which OS you've got running (like Linux or Windows 7). Also, let me know if you're using an external USB Wi-Fi dongle or just the built-in one. If it's the built-in kind, check if there's a physical switch on the front or side of the chassis, or maybe a keyboard shortcut—you know, hitting Fn plus one of those F keys to toggle the Wi-Fi on or off.
I'm using a home router. I don't think the specific laptop model (it's an HP) matters much here. The Wi-Fi icon on the keyboard works fine—it lights up blue.
Hey everyone. If there’s already a thread about this, feel free to move my post... I'm having some trouble getting my laptop online. One day, the network icon just vanished from my taskbar where I usually sign in. Now I can't figure out how to get it back or reconnect. My phone works perfectly fine, though...

I know you aren't supposed to swap products constantly, but this cream isn't doing a thing for me yet. Looks like I’ll have to go back to Hadens. Honestly, the pain is driving me absolutely insane.😠
Look, the reason those FedEx tablets actually work is pretty simple...😉
Michael Diaz4 said:I just used the search tool to find what you guys were saying. Just like I thought—everyone has their own preference. Not sure what’s going to work for me yet; I recently tried Hadens, so tonight I'm going with FedEx. Honestly, I've been dealing with this for nearly two decades now, and these hemorrhoids have absolutely wrecked my life. A long time ago, FactCheck actually helped me out. Lately, though, when things flare up, nothing seems to touch the pain. Since FactCheck doesn't have corticosteroids, it doesn't always cut it during a bad flare-up. A few years back, the pain was so intense I almost passed out. I was screaming like a madman. Now, I feel like I'm right on the edge of hitting that level of misery again...😢
Just go get them surgically removed... it doesn't necessarily mean they'll come back. Man, hemorrhoids are a total nightmare. If you haven't dealt with them, consider yourself lucky.
feralbadger2 said:Here’s another one dealing with hemorrhoids.
I've been feeling this stinging sensation when I go to the bathroom for about a year now. Everything else seems fine. I haven't noticed any heavy bleeding, just a little bit on the paper, nothing major.
I'm wondering what stage this is and if I actually need surgery. Also, does anyone have recommendations for the best cream to use?
Thanks in advance.
There's no way to know your stage without an exam... personally, I find Hemophilin cream works okay. Surgery is definitely an option, and honestly, I'm thinking about seeing a specialist for a procedure, though I'd probably go through a private clinic. Those heavy-duty creams help with the discomfort, but they don't actually fix the root cause. Hemorrhoids are basically a modern epidemic.😢
I’ve been reading through this subforum, and honestly, I’m pretty confused about the difference between internal and external hemorrhoids.🙄> I'm 100% sure I have them, but I really don't feel like heading to the doctor right now. I was hoping to get some advice since it seems like a lot of you have dealt with this before. Here’s the deal: Whenever I strain or deal with harder stools, it feels like a piece of my intestine is popping out. When I wipe, there's blood, and while it doesn't exactly hurt, it definitely feels uncomfortable. Even just squatting triggers it—it just slips out. So, based on that, are we talking internal or external hemorrhoids? One more thing: when I take a warm bath, I can feel one bulging out, and I usually just push it back in with my finger. I know that might sound funny to some, but it actually helps keep it tucked away inside. So, tell me straight—should I go see a doctor, or is this just something that passes?
If there's bleeding, they're likely internal... mine are external, meaning you can actually see them a bit... Look, you can always go to the doctor, but they won't tell you much different than what's already being said here. They’ll probably just prescribe a cream and call it a day. A ton of people deal with this and skip the clinic entirely for that reason. Personally, I’d consider surgery just to be done with it, though that’s not a guarantee—they can come back. But hey, it's worth a shot. A buddy of mine had his done ten years ago and hasn't had issues since. It's just miserable when they get inflamed; I actually just had a flare-up a few days ago, and it was awful. Now I'm debating whether to go to the local hospital for a standard procedure or find a private specialist for laser treatment, though the costs for laser stuff are pretty steep right now. But hey, if you want to go to the doctor, go for it... just make sure to report back with how it went.😁
Daniel Flores3 said:How much does that famous surgery actually run?
At the private clinic I'm looking at, they offer $167...well, it really depends on what you need. If you have to go in three times, you're looking at about $1,500. It’s a laser procedure, totally painless, and pretty quick. I've already checked with some folks who went through it there.
More trouble...😠...I haven't been eating much fish lately, just dry food, and now I'm paying the price. I was thinking about booking surgery at a private clinic, but money is a bit tight right now. Does anyone know what the experience is like at a public hospital? Maybe I should just head there... anyone have any insight?
Man... I know I really shouldn't be touching red wine, but I ended up knocking back about seven glasses yesterday... and of course, I felt the immediate fallout. It’s honestly my absolute favorite thing to drink. It’s just a matter of when it happens, but I know I'll have to face surgery eventually.
I have a quick question... over the last year, I've been seeing some blood when I go to the bathroom. It isn't constant—sometimes it happens two days in a row, then disappears for a week or even a month—and there's a stinging sensation afterward. I've noticed it usually flares up after I eat spicy food or after a heavy night of drinking. The blood is bright red, not dark. Based on what I've read here, it sounds like hemorrhoids, especially since my job keeps me sitting in a chair for 5 or 6 hours at a time, which I know doesn't help. Should I be worried that this might be something more serious and go see a doctor? Or should I just focus on changing my diet, using some of the creams mentioned on the forum, and of courseadjusting my hygiene routine after using the restroom?
Pleaseeeee!!!!... Are you kidding me? Are you actually serious right now? Just try to get some decent sleep—I mean, real sleep. Aim for maybe 10 or 11 hours if you can, but don't push yourself too hard if it's not happening. What you're asking for just isn't realistic. It’s impossible, and even if you tried using medication to force it, it would be totally unhealthy. Definitely don't go down that road.
Chloe Gomez6 said:Look, I know when I'm at home, but most of the time I'm out and about😠. I'm hitting the bathroom two or three times a day, and there's always at least one session while I'm at work😢.
Ronald Chase2—Michael Wright4 actually shared part of his take on this too... and look, it’s got nothing to do with the chair itself. It’s not like everyone deals with this every single day. Honestly, it seems weird to me that some people have it constantly, but hey, to each their own. Based on what you described, I’m thinking it’s definitely hemorrhoids, unfortunately... but don't freak out. Just follow the advice we gave you. Maybe it’ll clear up completely, maybe not—it really just depends on how your body reacts. Personally, I feel like I’m stuck with this for the long haul; once it hits you, it feels permanent (though that isn't always the case, I know a few people who cleared it up). This isn't a quick fix; it’s more of an annoying, drawn-out process. When I first went through it, it felt like my whole world was collapsing because I’d never been sick before and had no idea what was happening. But it’s totally normal. Everyone I know has dealt with it or at least knows what it is. It’s practically a modern lifestyle ailment. Oh, and the cold can trigger it too—part of why I struggled was working in the dairy and frozen food aisle at a shopping mall. But mostly, it comes down to a bad diet, sitting or standing for way too long, lifting heavy stuff, and a bunch of other things.
Michael Wright4 said:Thanks so much. I'm really hoping this works for me, just like it did for all of you dealing with this crap. 👎
Honestly, I'm feeling better already. About two months ago, I was actually planning to go under the knife for surgery—I've been dealing with hemorrhoids for about a year and a half now. Good luck...👍
Michael Wright4 said:I'm 16, and about a year ago, I noticed this tiny, swollen bump near my anus. It was barely there and didn't bother me at all, but recently I dealt with some pretty hard stools. Now that little bump—basically a hemorrhoid—has hardened up a bit and is starting to itch. Since my parents tend to freak out over everything, I don't want to run to the doctor just yet. I'd rather try some over-the-counter cream and fix my diet first (more yogurt, more fruit, less spicy stuff...). If it doesn't help after a while, then I'll see a doctor. Any recommendations? Does anyone know a good OTC cream? 😕 I read that Faktu is decent, and it looks like it won't break the bank either...🤷
Try a honey-based cream like Hemopropin; you can grab it at any pharmacy without a prescription, and it works wonders (though Faktu is fine too). You made a smart call not saying anything to your folks yet. Just apply the cream and stay clean with warm water. Focus on eating more soups, fruits, and veggies, and cut back on the soda. Also, avoid heavy lifting—don't strain yourself—and you should start feeling better soon...
William Anderson46 said:Whatever happened to that doctor TREBAVAC?😂😂😂
Honestly, TREBAVAC wasn't much of an actor anyway. 😁 Personally, I’m doing fine with these Hemic products now (no issues at all)... I haven't even needed to use anything for the last month and a half... fingers crossed it stays this way.🙂
