The movie feels way too much like a Bond flick... though there are enough little details to keep the Trekkies interested... the plot itself is just garbage.

The film is an absolute disaster... I honestly can't wrap my head around how it managed to rake in that much cash. Cutthroat Island is infinitely better—and I don't mean just five times better, I mean by a landslide—yet it was a total washout at the box office (even if it did cost around $300 million, if I recall correctly)... oh, and Cutthroat actually has a killer soundtrack!
