GNC has already started hiking their prices!

Is it because that MuscleTech was on sale, so now they just "bumped up" the price??

Lisa Barnes said:He is truly a phenomenal actor 🤣😂 🤦

Look, he’s definitely a talented actor, but let's be real—he lands those roles mostly because of his physique.
Just take a look at Strays, which was one of his projects right before he hit the big time...
Or even this

Personally, I still think Pitch Black is his best work...

amberowl7 said:So you're saying there's almost twice as much sugar as protein?
Could you give me a rough idea of how many tablespoons we're talking about here?
I'm having a hard time visualizing the grams... If 30g of protein is roughly 3 tablespoons... then how many tablespoons of sugar are packed into those 3 servings of protein?

It would be about 3 tablespoons as well, since sugar is denser than protein.

Here are a few shots of where I'm at right now. My plan is to work on my chest, firm up my glutes, tone my arms, and finally burn off that extra layer of fat I picked up over the summer... but first, I really need to put on some actual weight. 😁

I’m about 5'11" and weighing in around 170 lbs. Since September, I’ve been eating like there’s no tomorrow and crushing weights, hoping to pack on maybe 15-20 pounds if everything goes according to plan. This is the current situation. 🙄

At the end of the day, being fit matters most to me—being able to knock out 40 or 50 pushups and run a few miles without collapsing. But this year, I'm really going to try to focus on building some muscle mass. 😁 (personal)

Alright, let's get to work. 😁
I actually fell asleep in the theater for the first time ever during a movie—I seriously couldn't keep my eyes open... It was just so dull and monotonous; you’re basically waiting thirty minutes just to catch one decent scene... To be fair, I was pretty exhausted, but even then, I have never once drifted off during a film in my entire life. It didn't offer anything from Robin Hood that anyone would actually expect, it was just pointless. Don't waste your time at the cinema... total waste of money.

Maybe try heading back to school and finally picking up a basic biology textbook...
Iron Man 2 (2010) in Movies ·
It’s honestly too good. I thought the first installment was absolute genius—the humor and the action were perfectly balanced, and Downey was just born for this role 😁
As for the sequel, judging by what I saw in the trailer, it looks like it could be even better, haha. Can't wait...

Hey there
Boogaloo "Championship Night" – Sunday, Feb 7, 7 PM in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
We saw eight matches under K1 rules, and honestly, the fighting was pretty solid, but the venue was a total disaster. It felt incredibly cramped, and you're stuck standing there for three and a half hours... plus the sound system was absolute garbage. There was a TV crew filming, though I think they were there for ESPN or maybe some streaming service, so I’m not entirely sure when it hits the airwaves. As for the fights, the favorites generally held their ground as expected, though we did see a few knockdowns and some unexpected turnarounds. All things considered, I'm really glad I went.

I mean, I don't know, but for a hobbyist like me, it’s plenty. I just paid $33 for the K1 event at the Hollywood Palladium yesterday, and honestly, if you're someone who takes this seriously and actually wants a shot at meeting one of the absolute legends of K1 and MMA, $67 really isn't much at all.

Here's a link if you want to check out the details.

There's also that seminar with Alistair on February 12th in Chicago. The entry fee is $67(a bit steep), honestly... it's a shame they don't offer any free access

The only part actually worth watching was that final round. After the fight wrapped up, I had to go watch that documentary on Mike Tyson just to remind myself what boxing is really all about 😁

Chest expander reviews: Is it worth the hype? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I honestly don't think any of these really hit the chest. The first one looks more like it's targeting your triceps and maybe some back muscles, but I can't be sure about the others since you can't actually see the movement clearly... anyway, my advice? Put the Chest expander away and start working on pull-ups, because you aren't going to see any real results this way.

Fix your diet first, get consistent with your workouts, and hit the gym hard—only then will you actually see the benefits of those proteins 😁

jadetiger962 said:Personally, I always throw at least half a liter of water into my shake, and honestly, sometimes even more... though I usually knock it back pretty fast 🤔. It doesn't really matter how much water you use (obviously, I don't mean diluting it with 10 liters just so you can sip on it all day long 🙂).

Aha, gotcha, thanks!
What would be the most ideal window to drink my whey and glucose after a workout? Sometimes I head straight from lifting into some cardio (usually averaging about 45 minutes)

So, I’ve been using Dymatize Elite Whey lately. It actually tastes pretty decent when I just mix it with water—it's got this blueberry-type fruit flavor that hits the spot. But honestly, once I start loading up on glucose, it becomes way too sweet for me! I don't really want to mix it with milk because the absorption rate is too slow for what I'm trying to do. Does anyone have any advice? Like, am I stuck mixing it into just a few ounces of water, or could I maybe mix it into a full liter and just sip on it slowly over half an hour instead?

How much dextrose should I mix with my protein powder for a post-workout meal? Should I go with one scoop of whey and two scoops of dextrose, or is it the other way around?
Also, is it alright if I toss a teaspoon of dextrose into my oatmeal in the morning just because they taste a bit bland lately?

So, I'm looking to pick up some protein... I think I'll start with just a single pound to see how it sits with me first, rather than dropping $60 on one of those massive bulk tubs... where do you guys usually shop?$233I passed by that dietary supplement shop over on Main Street earlier, but I did some reading online and apparently, you should probably steer clear of it because of all the sugar they pack into their stuff...
Hey everyone, could you please let me know which brands you’re using and where you usually pick them up? I'm looking for some solid recommendations... basically my own personal "best buy" list... 😁
Thanks!
My Bloody Valentine 3D in Movies ·
Yeah, I checked it out too—first time seeing it in 3D. Personally, I think the gimmick is pretty cool, though obviously you can't pull off every single moment in 3D effectively. It really shines during those sequences where there’s a ton of depth, like the scenes set in the woods with all those objects layered one behind the other. For me, the standout moments were definitely the flying crowbar, the old guy with the double-barrel shotgun, and that final bullet shot 😁. If I had just watched this as a standard 2D movie at home, I probably would have been bored to tears, but the 3D really gives the experience a nice little boost
