When you have a bunch of twelve-year-olds and their clones acting like they actually know what they're talking about—as if they have a single functioning brain cell—it’s pathetic. While certain types, like that guy from New York, obsess over every single minor post on this board, most sane people couldn't care less. Just because they treat this forum like their official town square doesn't mean everyone else ☕. Even though most people agreed with him about keeping things locked, the thread was opened just because a couple of kids and Mickey started whining to the admins 🙂 about how Yellow "isn't following the rules." Honestly, give me a break—now they'll just be busy scrubbing their screens all day... talk about being hardcore 🙂

Legendary... though it gets pretty depressing if you actually stop to think about it.🙂

Watched the movie tonight—solid action flick, but nothing groundbreaking. 🤷 It’s got some decent scenes and all that, but honestly? The IMDb rating feels inflated... I’d call it a more realistic 7/10 (let's not get pedantic with a 6.8 or 6.9)... I have this feeling that if it were a few minutes shorter and dialed back the "pressure" just a touch, it would've been better. This comes from a neutral standpoint regarding Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and action movies in general; naturally, the die-hard fans will love it more...

Man, you were quick this time. 😁 Generally speaking—the North side was decent last night, though I felt at certain points they were singing with maybe two-thirds of their usual energy... the new songs are excellent, well-received, and next time, things are going to get loud. 😉

Divisions and conflicts are manufactured; anyone truly dedicated to the NFL Ultras will step up to stop it when things actually kick off.
Fights and shoving matches have always been part of the scene and always will be—without them, it wouldn't be the Ultras, just some bloodless nothingness. You can't love everyone in a crowd; frankly, who cares? The Ultras keep moving forward regardless...
Making a massive drama out of this or trying to form little cliques is childish—it makes it pretty obvious where everyone's true priorities lie...
The average age in the stands hasn't been higher; there are more of us than ever, and we’ll keep the fire burning just the same😍 in a few years, those kids won't have any limits to their potential.🙂

Since we don't have our own forum, even though it gets more crowded by the day, I suggest you guys figure out who has the time and desire to take on moderation. We need to nip these stupid, unnecessary debates—which are harmful and unfortunately inevitable—in the bud. Nathan Ramirez11 or swiftmarlin72, perhaps one of you could step up🙂😁
Just reach an agreement, and then I'll put in a word with the admins...
bukinkava—if you're really the young guy you pretend to be in your posts, go ahead and introduce yourself to the people you were addressing tonight. It's easy enough to find out who they are; enough with the trolling when it's not needed and the silence when it actually is...

🙏 Personally, I'd nominate swiftmarlin72 for moderator first, but I'm certain he's way too busy handling a million different tasks for the group—and credit where credit is due. I've seen some candidates who I think would be solid mentioned in the moderator election thread, so if they have the time or interest, they should reach out to the Fight or to you... I see some names being tossed around—whether it's him, Nathan Ramirez11, or someone from the other thread, it doesn't matter—the point is we need someone else to step in and bring a little order when things go south...

to "st stina"... thanks.

That seems like a bit of a stretch, though.

Since changing my handle to whatever I want would apparently trigger a total systemic collapse, 🙄 could you at least ditch this underscore between the words... if that isn't too much trouble. My apologies if I've caused any mental anguish by presenting such a complex dilemma... 🙂

Changing a nickname isn't the issue—it's the massive leap from Jack and Jill to something else entirely.

The change to "coastalangler16" is approved; just reach out to Sash.

Edward Price6 said:I consider myself a huge movie buff. I can usually find something positive even in bad films. But I only made it halfway through this one! It was the first time in my life I actually stood up and walked out of a theater because the movie was just that terrible and overwhelming.
The pacing is a disaster. They kept introducing new characters halfway through—maybe even later, I don't know since I left. The special effects aren't anything special either. Some parts are totally unbelievable (like, SPOILER: a guy gets poisoned by palladium or whatever is in his mini reactor, yet Stark wears that suit unnecessarily when he's breathing heavily).
Gwyneth overacts, Scarlett looks obviously photoshopped in, and don't even get me started on Jackson. Even the fight scenes and effects in the first half are subpar—choppy cuts, bad CGI—it feels rushed. Like they just scrambled to finish it. And poorly at that. Maybe Terrence Howard left because he knew what a piece of junk this was going to be. I don't think I'll ever watch a sequel. Bad, bad, bad.
The only bright spot is Rourke as the villain; he’s convincing and really nailed the role.
Even Rockwell didn't particularly shine.
Just for the record, I enjoyed the first part, but I think we're looking at a classic Transformers syndrome situation here.

I'm honestly at a loss for words. I was expecting something slightly weaker than the first one, but it sounds like it's so abysmal you can't even finish it...😢 I thought the original was great, so I'm genuinely curious if they truly botched the sequel this badly, though... well, to each their own. For instance, you seem to think Avatar is a masterpiece while I found it pretty average—even a bit boring and overhyped...🤷 so I'll wait until I can see it myself, and seeing that most comments are positive gives me some hope...🙂
Final Destination (2009) in Movies ·
Jonathan Collins43 said:I can't wait for this movie! It drops October 1st—not long now! I just hope it isn't a total disaster, despite all those comments saying it's terrible.

Yeah, it’s bad. I watched a leaked version a few days ago; it’s watchable, but still bad. Basically, whoever was in charge of the title sequence did a decent job, but they clearly focused everything else on making the death scenes look as realistic as possible—ensuring characters die through a ridiculous chain of about a hundred stupid mistakes that a sane person would never make. Plus, there’s none of that tension you felt in the first one. Here, once a scene starts, you already know someone is toast; you're just sitting there thinking, "Alright, let's see how they pull this one off." The original was fine—nothing groundbreaking, but fine. The sequels? Total flops...
