Rating wattage, actual current delivery, or warranty length is only half the story. This thing will run fine forever in some basic office rig with integrated graphics or maybe a cheap discrete card. But don't push it hard for long periods. It'll overheat because they used cheap, low-grade parts, and heat is what kills electronics. That's how most of these things fail.

And obviously, they won't put a decent PSU in a review. Imagine the hit those top-tier manufacturers would take
if people found out that Cooler Master Lite(Cola) units were actually good. All those big companies would go bankrupt.

Everyone seems obsessed with XFX and Seasonic, but when you look at the price difference, these are barely more expensive. It’s not even a big jump since this one is only $143.
Specs say it delivers 36A on the +12V rail and 20A on the +5V.

Strikes are easy to pick up. If you really want one, most people on LJES, US can get banned daily because someone is always posting something completely off-topic. Even if a strike expires, it still counts as a warning. It doesn't matter if the penalty period ended🤷

Nimoy prompted this question by starting the thread, and then he got annoyed by the replies. Then Tupelo jumps in threatening to ban anyone else who keeps trolling, even though nobody was actually trolling. I've seen plenty of times where regular users start a thread, get upset by the responses, and end up getting banned because they overreacted to the comments.

But what I really don't get is why we aren't allowed to comment on forum moderation in the chat. I don't know about other chats, but for example, in the dating sub-chat, you can't even mention how someone should moderate the room. If it's a chat, people should be able to talk about whatever they want as long as they aren't badmouthing anyone. But even that gets you a ban immediately.

It sounds like John pointed out the real problem with these appeals: people use them to vent their frustrations about the site, specific threads, or certain files. They make sure to highlight that they're leaving specifically because of those grievances rather than any other reason.

If we swapped permanent bans for appeal requests, I bet people who want to quit would just start writing "farewell letters" instead. Those "peace out, stay classy" posts can be just as annoying as a formal ban appeal, and honestly, people won't be able to resist the urge to post them. 😁

The whole thing just proves something is broken when people are begging for permanent bans instead of just being banned. If people actually stopped showing up, nobody would even care. At least this way, they make it known they're leaving because they can't handle it. Now, reading some of these appeals, I actually feel bad when someone gets a permanent ban, since they didn't exactly "murder a forum member" to deserve it.
I also don't get why the rules aren't applied equally to everyone. I have zero issues when I get flagged for off-topic posts, chatting, or insults,
but it feels cheap when I get penalized for off-topic stuff or spamming, only to see endless cases where people chat or spam constantly and nothing happens—their posts stay up just fine.🤷

It’s been a minute since I’ve checked in, so here’s an update.
The weight is creeping up, even if my height hasn't changed a bit.🤣
