The trailer’s alright, but Lautner has a more deadpan expression than Keanu Reeves.🙂
Maybe that Twilight bastard will actually turn into an Action superstar, though I wouldn't bet on it—one thing's for sure, he’s got zero acting talent.🙄
go Taylor!😁

I went with Scarface, though I was really torn between that and Carlito's Way. Honestly, any De Palma flick works for me. Still haven't gotten around to watching The Untouchables or The Black Dahlia yet.

Q: Will Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol be the best one in the series?

Abrams: I truly believe it is. Part of it is that you’ve essentially been watching Brad Bird films all along—they just happened to be animated. Now, you're finally seeing a live-action Brad Bird movie! It's really fun, and it carries this specific kind of intensity. That's just how Brad works. It's also the most massive entry in the franchise in terms of sheer scale. Plus, a huge chunk of it was filmed for IMAX, including a sequence on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, where Tom Cruise did, I think, five days of wirework outside the building that is so insane. Honestly, it's hard to believe the insurance company even cleared him to attempt it.

Watch the trailer for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Q: The YouTube footage was insane!

Abrams: Seeing it in IMAX is terrifying. What he pulled off is genuinely unbelievable. It feels surreal to sit in meetings with him and just think, 'That guy was scaling the outside of a skyscraper.' I'm sitting there, he's in my office, and I'm thinking about what he actually did. It’s like talking to Buzz Aldrin. It’s like, 'That guy was actually on the moon!'

I suspect this will look great in IMAX🙂

Last time I caught a trailer in IMAX, it was for Ghost Protocol. Those shots of the Burj Khalifa looked massive—it seriously felt like I was approaching the thing via helicopter.😁
From what I can tell, Ghost Protocol was shot using IMAX cameras, just like TDK.

I’m not really feeling Bradley Cooper, honestly. He’s just... mid. Has this kind of slimy look about him that reminds me of a young Ralph Fiennes. I just really hope he doesn't pull that same pathetic act he did in Las Vegas.

Bradley gives a quick update on "Paradise Lost" in his latest interview with Bleeding Cool:

"WE ’ ve been doing motion capture tests All of this Week. It’s intense, but the deals are finally set. We’re currently messing around with different rigs. WE did this One scena where Lucifer lands and talks to The minions. Alex Proyas is amazing… it’s a rush. We kick off filming in January. I’m stoked. It’s been forever… I remember back when we were touring for The A-Team and ran into Ralph Fiennes. We were chatting and he goes, “So, what’s next for you?” and I told him, “There’s this project, Paradise Lost, and my absolute dream is to play the devil.” He just looked at me and said, “You’re gonna do it.”"

I’m seriously dying to see who they cast as Michael and Rafael. 😁
I honestly expected two hours of pure American mindless action and cheap sentimentality, but it actually turned out to be a pretty light watch that was easy to digest. It would’ve been wild if the director was someone like Bay or Emmerich 😁 I was hoping for something more intense, but nope 😁http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcmuPc8_SWQ

The director is Alex Proyas, best known for The Crow and the City of Darkness. Personally, I thought I, Robot was just okay. I’d definitely recommend checking out his first two films instead.

You can't even compare The Da Vinci Code to this movie; this is going to be more like 300 meets Lord of the Rings. I bet half the Christian population in America is going to lose their minds when this drops—all those holy relics and spikes 😁
. I grew up in a Christian household, but all that religious symbolism stuff just isn't my thing. The only part of the Bible I actually found interesting was Revelation, mostly because it reads like sci-fi. 😁

Personally, I’m cool with Lucifer, even if we only see his eyes for now. I think Bradley Cooper is a killer choice for the role since he can play the hero one second and then pivot to pure evil the next.

Director: Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, I, Robot, Knowing)

Cast: Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, The A-Team, Limitless)

Studio: Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

The movie is based on the epic poem by John Milton, published back in 1667. Fun fact: Milton was actually blind when he wrote it. His poem is split into two parts—one covers the fall of Archangel Lucifer, and the other deals with Adam and Eve being kicked out of the Garden of Eden.

The plot follows Archangel Lucifer and his rebellion against God. It’s basically a war between God's angels led by Michael and Satan's forces led by Lucifer. After a three-day battle, the Son of God descends and crushes them all, sending Lucifer and a third of the angels screaming down from heaven into the abyss.

Production has been stuck in limbo for over five years, but the project finally got the green light earlier this year. Shortly after that, Bradley Cooper was tapped for the role of Lucifer. Here is the first Official shot of Lucifer:

I’d love to see Michael Fassbender play Michael.

As for the score, I’d go with Vangelis. He would fit this vibe perfectly.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWUD7...eature=related
cosmiclynx57 said:Look, you know how my grandpa thinks Predator, Terminator, and Alien are terrible movies? Well, he’s eighty years old, so it totally makes sense that they aren't really his thing, but to me? They’re absolute masterpieces...

It’s the exact same deal with Spy Kids—it isn't exactly meant for people over twelve, let alone adults, right? That's why you see all these negative comments, because most of the people hanging out on this forum are probably well over twenty, whereas for a little kid who's seven, eight, nine, or ten, Spy Kids is basically a cinematic masterpiece...

I mean, I'm twenty-seven myself, but hey, sometimes that inner kid just takes over and I find myself sitting down to watch a movie made for children.

Then why even start this thread if kids aren't allowed to comment anyway🤷(unless there's some random six-year-old registered here), Spy Kids was total garbage to me even when I was a kid☕.

Low quality French trailer

Looks alright to me. As long as it hits the same level as the first one and the third one, I'm good.😁
🤦 I honestly can't remember the last time I sat through such a trash trailer 👎. This movie isn't even going to hold a kid's attention. I'm calling it now: this is looking like a 2 or 3 on IMDb, if I'm being generous

Strict rating, huh? in Movies ·
William Lee34 said:Ratings are such a joke. An actor lights a cigarette on screen? Boom, R rating.
Swearing? Also counts.
Boobs? Yup, also counts.

I’m with you. That’s why everything being filmed now is PG-13—it’s all about chasing the almighty dollar here in the States. In Europe, an R rating doesn't even phase people.
But what kills me is how we handle ratings on TV over here:
- A bit of swearing, some dark humor, maybe a little blood without going full slasher? It gets an adult restriction, like with >.
- Then you’ve got horror movies airing around 10 PM with guts flying everywhere and enough blood to fill a pool—think stuff like Night of the Living Dead—and they only get a moderate restriction.

You can check it out using standard Red-Cyan glasses, but I’d suggest bumping the resolution up to at least 480p since they're using Sensio tech.

Caught this in 3D at Cinestar, and believe me, the trailer's 3D is ten times better than the actual movie.
I mentioned on another thread that it feels like the 3D quality at Cinestar has actually tanked since they upgraded to those real digital projectors and glasses.
The Hangover Part II in Movies ·
This whole Hangover thing is the most forced comedy ever. Everyone acts like they love it, but all the jokes are totally played out—it felt like being told, "Okay, that was a joke, now you have to laugh." When I saw it in theaters two years ago, I honestly couldn't get why people were losing their minds over it. I'm definitely skipping the sequel unless my girlfriend forces me to go. 😠
A Hangover parody would probably be way better than the actual movie itself.
Iron Man 2 (2010) in Movies ·
Iron Man 2 is another one of those movies that basically sells you a bunch of action sequences in the trailers that never actually happen. The plot is practically a carbon copy of the first one—just different suits, same old stuff. They swapped out the actor playing Rhodey, and honestly? Huge miss. Don Cheadle just doesn't work for me here. For nearly two hours, absolutely nothing happens, except for a little action in the first thirty minutes and the final fifteen. Plus, Tony and Pepper’s constant back-and-forth dialogue was way too much; they were incredibly grating and annoying. The only saving grace is Rourke. He’s a cool villain, mostly because of his vibe rather than his look, since he looks almost identical to Jeff Bridges from the first movie. Even the suit looks pretty much the same, just with more bits and pieces. I also didn't get the point of Scarlett Johansson; she was super irritating, with the camera constantly lingering on her while she pulls that whole "femme fatale" act. It feels like the movie was rushed through just to get to the Avengers stuff, leaving the villain and his actual motives totally sidelined. Iron Man 2 failed to follow the Batman or Spider-Man tradition of actually delivering a sequel that tops the original. There’s just nothing memorable about it.
