Badminton gear talk in Other Sports ·
Charles Thompson15 said:I'm trying to hunt down those shuttlecocks on eBay—the ones with the actual feathers sticking out of the base. They fly incredibly well, but all I can find online are those cheap plastic ones...
I don't want to drop a ton of cash on them since I'm not playing badminton constantly; it's more of a casual thing for me. That's why I'd prefer to just grab the feathered ones from eBay. I remember using them a few years back and they were way better in flight.
I checked out those links you posted above, but honestly, I'd rather just order through eBay and have them shipped straight to my front door.

Just a heads up though, those feathered ones are going to wear out way faster than the plastic versions.
Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
mellowdrifter14 said:Unfortunately, no. That first withdrawal takes forever because you have to wait for them to verify your ID, but after that, it’s usually about 15-30 minutes. They give you one free withdrawal per month; every single one after that costs $15. It runs on a calendar month basis, so you really have to plan ahead. As for the NBA odds, they're sitting at 1.95-1.95, and there's no option for voided bets...

Are you kidding me???
I mean, despite all the absolute bullshit we deal with from our domestic sportsbooks (before this new legislation kicks in, which, fingers crossed, happens ASAP), if I try to play smaller stakes, my offshore books won't even pay out properly. Every other withdrawal gets hit with a $15 fee? No thanks. Absolutely not.
I'm starting to think that betting without having a massive $10k bankroll just isn't worth the headache anymore.

I saw some people bringing up 'zeta.' Which one of ours are we talking about here? 🙂

Smith has much steadier hands this tournament, and he needs to be in the lineup.

Don't you dare move for even two minutes!!!!!

Dule’s got vision, I'll give him that. But man, he needs to stop letting those three idiot missed shots happen every single game while we're out there getting absolutely carried by one guy.
Man, Katy is drawing up some totally wild new play for them. Since when was this even basketball?
I can't write anything based on that prompt. If you have a specific text you need me to rewrite following your instructions, please provide it. kaže:
Did nobody else catch that? Poljak absolutely planted himself right on his teammate's elbow—you know, the one wearing the black sleeve. 🤷

I see what you mean. I spotted the cover, but my brain immediately jumped to thinking it was Dule's. 🙂

I get where you're coming from, I really do. I'm just pointing out what kind of justification a ref would actually need to call a penalty there.
Man, B. Jurecki is really taking a hit here

Gerald Jones56 said:That wasn't even a foul. Poljak had a clean look at the basket...

Čeprko bumped him right before Slišković took the shot, giving the ref every reason to call the penalty. The guy was wide open; there was absolutely no reason to touch him.
Let's just hope Luczak is doing alright. That elbow looked like a total knockout blow.
Someone’s claiming he gets ejected just to balance out the stats, like the guy actually took a hit to the head or something
Dulet's assists from the mid-range out to the wing are pure mastery. Just a total flick of the wrist 🙏 🙏 🙏

Personally, I prefer playing in jerseys that feel right—something a bit more fitted. The fact that the branding isn't consistent across all the kits? That's a total screw-up by the federation and the supplier. It’s just like in the NFL when it gets cold out; you'll see one guy playing in long sleeves while someone else sticks to short sleeves.

Robert Doyle8 said:And who else is going to play then, you morons? >? The guy managed to turn our +9 lead into a +4 in just a few minutes yesterday. Absolute wizard on the court, seriously. 🤣

It’s going to be an uphill battle today, really tough. Our ball movement in the offense is painfully slow right now—just pure isolation plays when things aren't clicking—and if the goalie stops two or three shots, we completely fall apart.

If the offense moves as fast as those first 20 minutes against France, we’ll cruise to a win.

Jonathan Barnes5 said:Look, nobody in this lineup is Mozart. Not even him, and certainly not Arason, Xepkin, Gorpishin, Lindgren, Pogorelov, Peterso, Kasper Nielsen, Lars Jorgensen, or Johnny Jensen. None of those guys who specialize in hitting hard and digging into the "meat" are playing classical music here. It sounds like you're implying these players were out there defending with class and grace, using nothing but their wits and positioning to stop opponents—especially against a 5-1 setup like France uses with Karabatic leading the charge, with Dinart and B. Gille waiting right behind him.

Sure, certain guys will go down in history as some of the greatest defenders ever, but I wasn't even making that comparison... it just cracks me up when people label Musa as some kind of butcher while completely ignoring the whole roster of players who did the dirty work for their teams to rack up those medals.

Being "Mozart" just means you're the best. Why does it have to be elegant?

Terry Fisher2 said:For these guys, Sorhaindo is basically what Urios used to be for the Americans.

That’s the key right there. Honestly, comparing one of the greatest pivots to ever step on a court to Sorhaindo is just a straight-up insult.

Anyway, this is the first championship where I can't watch a single game without thinking about all the legends I've watched over the last 10-15 years. 🙂
Masip, Urios, Richardson, Dušebajev, Barufet, Hombrados, Lavrov, Romero, Christiansen, Stryger, Knudsen, Hvidt, Ege, Dinart, Juanin Garcia, Kretschmar, Kehrmann, Zerbe, Schwarzer, Koksharov, Kavtičnik, Rastvortsev, Torgovanov, Anderson, Fritz, Stefanson, Nagy, Perez, Boldsen, Vranješ, Lovgren... if anyone can think of any other legends from the last 15ish years (not our own guys), please post them.

Forgive the long post and the typos, but yeah, there it is. 🙂
