What the Bengals pulled off last week doesn't even come close to this.

You’re going way too hard on this and getting worked up over nothing. There are more Federer fanatics and Nadal haters on this forum than there are Nole fans from Mexico combined. Anyone who shows up just to talk trash gets kicked out pretty quickly. Oxydant goes overboard sometimes and gets a warning, and that’s the end of it. Aspirin is one of those old-school forum regulars who—despite a few provocations here and there—is actually a blast to read. The guy puts out a ton of constructive posts about both tennis and basketball; just because you don't always get his sense of humor doesn't mean you should act like an idiot.

And, sorry to say this, but if you have to spend ten minutes trying to figure out what Murray and Courier mean, you're just being dense.
Look, even I write things poorly sometimes because I can't be bothered to think or Google whether I need to double a letter or whatever.

Fine, let's just agree to spell it with an "NJ" from now on and call it a day.🙂

Yeah, sure you are. Honestly, how do you even manage to write and talk at the same time? I'm starting to doubt you.
Sorry for the off-topic tangent, but I really have to ask.

na $333 You're down 58.
If you try to play both sides of this, you're going to get burned either way. It’s a lose-lose situation. You've got one side betting on a total blowout and the other banking on it being a tight game through the first half—you can't hedge your bets like that. You'll just end up losing on both fronts.

Maybe you should actually run the numbers again? 2.45 vs 2.40—it’s pretty obvious which one is the heavier sure bet here. And don't even get me started on trying to call a "past" result when there were already three goals scored by the end of the second period. It just doesn't work like that.

And as for parkour? The injury rate is insane. It’s probably higher than skiing, soccer, and boxing combined, yet the payout is basically zero.

So what, you're trying to tell me that guys like Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan only got into their sports because they were chasing a paycheck?

I honestly have no clue what you're trying to get at with this.

Anthony Davis19 said:I’ve got a question for the veterans here regarding withdrawals from offshore sites. Yesterday, I put in a request to withdraw funds to my Visa card through Bet-at-home, and then this morning I get an email saying I need to send over photos or scans of my ID and the actual card I used for my deposits. I’m assuming this is standard procedure for everyone, but I wanted to see if anyone else has actually gone through this? Is it actually safe? Also, is there any withdrawal method that lets me bypass all this extra verification—something like a direct wire transfer or using Skrill instead? 🤷

So, what exactly are you planning to do with a copy of my ID? For God's sake. That’s such a classic move, isn't it?

neonjackal2 said:Look, Dobet has a $10 no-deposit bonus. But let's be real—you aren't actually withdrawing anything unless you put your own cash in first. Plus, their sportsbook is pretty pathetic; the odds are garbage, the selection is slim, and they pile on so many restrictions regarding how you can even use that bonus.

betting 🙂 isn't the issue here. If I can turn those 10 bucks into something useful, I'll deposit whatever amount is necessary, grind through some 1.10 odds just to clear the requirements, and get my money back.

I see myself from a few years back, thinking just as naively that I could grab a bonus and run.
Go ahead, check the fine print on any sportsbook out there—you'll see you usually have to roll that bonus over at least 3 to 5 times before you see a dime.

That’s completely irrelevant. Just find me a sportsbook that offers a no-deposit bonus, and I’ll roll it over 10 times if that's what it takes.

In the end, I went with these:

From what I've been reading on some international badminton forums, people compare them to the red Mavis 350s, so it’s definitely not true that you'll only find Chinese junk on eBay.

We've kind of gotten hooked on the fast plastic ones because they suit our more aggressive, fast-paced style of play.
We gave feathered shuttles a shot, but honestly, it didn't feel quite right after playing with the red plastics for two years. 🤷
I know everyone claims feathers are superior and that we really should be switching over...

Sorry, I didn't realize you meant the reds. Those red ones are really only good if you're playing in 57-degree weather. I'd recommend the blues—that's actual "real" badminton.

swiftridge40 said:Which betting sites actually offer a starting online bonus where I don't have to deposit a single cent?? And specifically ones where I can withdraw the cash if I hit just one winner, without having to put any of my own money down first.

I see DraftKings offering $50
BetMGM giving $25
FanDuel at $100
Betway hitting $200

Are you actually being serious right now? Go ahead, double-check those numbers and let me know. I’ve honestly never heard of anything even remotely close to that happening.

We usually play with those red plastic ones, but they seem way overpriced here—around $40 for a pack of 6 (if I remember correctly from when I was looking), I think from Mavis.

Or if you have any cheaper recommendations that actually hold up. We’re just total amateurs, but we still don't want to deal with those crappy little shuttlecocks that come in the cheap starter sets with the rackets $6.75 😬

I didn't bother scrolling through all the other retail sites; I'm assuming there's similar stuff at similar price points. There's really no point in ordering unverified junk from eBay when we have great options right here in the States. All of these shuttles are perfectly fine for casual play. Have you guys ever actually tried playing with feather ones?

jadewolf16 said:I mean, props to the skill involved, but let's be real—this is one of the most brutal "sports" out there. It’s just a constant cycle of inevitable joint and tendon injuries, and unlike pro athletes, you don't get any material payoff at the end of it. At least in professional sports, you can eventually find some solace in a fat bank account.

Yeah, right. Because millions of people playing amateur sports also magically start getting paid after they blow out their knees. 🤦
If someone starts training a sport thinking they're going to make a living off it, they're basically signing their own death warrant for failure.
