I was just scrolling through the news and stumbled onto this piece about how everyone's acting totally blindsided by the recent changes—it’s kind of funny, really. You see these headlines claiming people are shocked, but if you actually pay attention to what's been happening in Washington lately, I mean, it’s pretty much exactly what we saw coming, right? It feels like one of those situations where everyone acts surprised when the inevitable happens—kind of like when a massive tech giant like Apple drops a feature they've been hinting at for months, yet somehow the media still treats it like a bolt from the blue. Anyway, I guess my point is that the level of surprise being reported seems... well, maybe a little performative? It’s like people are ignoring the obvious signs just to have something to react to. I don't know, maybe I'm just cynical, but it feels like we're watching a rerun of a predictable drama. Just one of those things where you look back in a week and realize we all knew this was going to go down exactly like this.
? ? ?
😁
Is that actually what the future looks like? I mean, maybe... I guess we'll see.
Which one do you think I'd actually struggle in? I mean, honestly—it’s a tough call, I guess. Maybe I'd just end up totally lost in the shuffle somewhere... anyway, what are you thinking? 😁
Alexander Thompson said:Djoko, give these guys some advice: I was thinking about that whole thing from earlier—you know, the debate about whether people actually care about those massive corporate shifts or if they just shrug and move on. Honestly, I feel like most people are just... checked out? It’s like when a major retailer like Walmart or Target changes their entire branding overnight. You see the signs, you notice the colors are different, but does anyone actually sit down and go, "Wow, this really impacts my soul"? Probably not. Most of us are just trying to get through the week without losing our minds. Anyway, I saw what silverwolf88 was saying about the impact of local policy changes, and I kind of get where they're coming from—even if I don't totally agree. There’s this idea that everything is connected, which, okay, maybe it is, but it feels like a stretch sometimes. Like, if a city council in a place like Austin decides to tweak some zoning laws, does that really change the vibe of the whole country? I mean, I guess it matters for the folks living there, but for the rest of us, it's just noise. And then there’s the whole discussion regarding how big tech companies handle privacy. Everyone acts like we’re all terrified of being tracked, but let’s be real—we basically hand over our data to Google or Meta just to see a funny video of a cat. We say we want privacy, but then we click "Accept All Cookies" faster than you can blink. It’s a weird contradiction, I suppose. We want to be rebels, but we also want the convenience of having everything mapped out for us. I guess my point—if I even have one, which is debatable—is that we spend so much time worrying about these massive, sweeping changes, yet we barely notice the small stuff that actually dictates our daily lives. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it. It's probably nothing. Just a random thought while I'm sitting here staring at my coffee.
silverwolf88 said:How could someone who produces copyrighted works be considered "unemployed"? Maybe because music online was basically free until recently?
But hey, don't try to pull the fast one on me and claim my work—which I do for free—isn't actually a job just because of how the music industry shifted.
So, yeah, you're lying if you're trying to argue that 31 plus 1 copyrighted works don't count as labor. Or maybe there’s someone else pulling the strings behind that lie?
Here’s some recent news about disability claims and psychiatric cases in the States
Can some psychiatrist, by mislabeling me as disabled and refusing to recognize my 31 plus 1 copyrighted works, effectively block me from publishing my mathematical derivations? Especially if the peer reviewers can't even find a flaw in the math itself?
I mean, are psychiatrists even qualified to review high-level mathematics?
You're back at it again, hiding behind a pseudonym and rambling about my "disability" and legal guardians... is this forum headed for a total meltdown this time?
For everyone else out there, just a reminder that I was posting stuff like this long before I ever wrote down my mathematical derivations. Check the links:

silverwolf88 said:So, I swung by my lawyer's office to pick up my printed paper—you know how it goes—and I actually asked him if he thought a mathematician or maybe some physicist should take a look at it. His response? He basically told me that even if my work is totally off base, nobody has the legal right to claim I didn't write it, because at the end of the day, it's my own intellectual property.

William Grant20 said:The Forum isn't going anywhere. Look, I actually stepped up as the head of the Commission. We basically dissolved the Council entirely, so the Commission calls the shots now. Which means... well, you can write whatever you want and be whoever you feel like being. Alexander Thompson doesn't have any real pull anymore. Honestly, we're even tossing around the idea of just banning him altogether 😳

Is there some rule against people just pretending to be someone else here?
silverwolf88 said:Thanks—I'll probably scour the web to see if there's some kind of American Physical Journal where I can submit my paper for peer review. Just... you know, seeing what's out there.
silverwolf88 said:So, I’m just wrapping up my paper now—this group of scientists is actually interested in reviewing it, and they're pretty much hovering, waiting to see my mathematical derivations. I still need to plug in a practical example and some references, but I've run into a few technical hiccups. If they end up approving the math, they’ll probably just send it back to me to fix the formatting... also, I told them straight up that my English isn't great, and they were cool about it—said they have translators on hand, so I'll just send the work over in American English once it's ready.

silverwolf88 said:So you're actually trying to claim I don't even know basic Calculus 1, which I already passed?
silverwolf88 said:What college did you even graduate from? Do you actually think you’re some kind of superior physicist or math whiz compared to an MIT grad? And are you really back at it again, spamming threads just because I started them?
If you're so damn sure my math is wrong—since you clearly think those calculations aren't accurate—then why don't you just give me a 1 (insufficient) in that poll? What are you so afraid of... losing your license or something if you go on record giving me a wrong grade?
