Okayyyy? 😕

I appealed the flag in the exact place provided for it. Twice!
Actually, it’s my own fault for not jumping straight into the arguments instead of writing this:

No, they don't bother me nearly as much as you probably assume, nor do I hate them!
What truly bothers me—and I won't say I hate them, but—is their organizations and their fascist regime.
I'll be first in line to make sure they aren't bullied or harassed because of their orientation! They also have the right to legalize their romantic relationships (provided it isn't done under the name marriage)
But generally, I view homosexuality as a disorder. Period.
No, I don't have proof that an entire civilization fell because of it. But I want to tell you that things which were once considered normal (in our culture—Western culture) are seen today as having not been right.
We said: Hey, it turns out a maturity test involving 15-year-old girls shouldn't involve a 40 or 50-year-old man raping them. We figured that out after a few hundred years.
We might figure out the same thing regarding adoption by same-sex couples
Or maybe we won't.
Now, you know I always love to tie things back to nature. Homosexuals are part of nature; they emerged from it. But as an anomaly (10%)
And as such, we won't bully them, and we should accept them as full members of our society! But when we give them the right to adopt children, to raise offspring, we are directly throwing nature's "laws" right in its face!
All the best,
Reddit

So, there I go, complaining.
I am asking for an explanation regarding what criteria made this subject to a flag. I filed my appeal in post #4939 and again a few days later in #4956.

It isn't even about the warning... really. Let's just move past the whole "warning" thing.
I didn't come here to complain, even if it might have looked that way initially. Honestly, I would have been perfectly happy if you all had just told me via the appeals—hey, look, the warning is totally justified.
The point of this thread is: questions for the administration.
And I am asking you about the moderation style because I’ve noticed some real inconsistencies here. 🤷
As I mentioned before (Matthew Anderson knows this better than anyone), I was arguing that someone who hasn't had any romantic, emotional, or physical contact with another person by the age of 35 likely faces developmental challenges and a certain
disorder because they haven't realized their most primal instincts.
There were quite a few reactions to my use of the word "disorder," which I went on to explain later in the discussion....
And that's fine! But the moment a discussion mentions homosexuality in the same sentence as any opinion that doesn't frame it as something absolutely wonderful, cool, fantastic, or desirable, suddenly there's big trouble. 😕
I never called a gay person "disordered" or "sick"... I simply expressed my viewpoint that homosexuality is, to me, a disorder—an anomaly.
My question is: are gay people considered sacred cows here? I'm asking so that if we continue discussing this, I'll know exactly how I can and cannot participate in certain topics...
From what I can see, the answer is yes. In that case, please be fair and include it in the rules or guidelines: "Any questioning or debate regarding homosexuality is prohibited unless it is framed in a purely positive light." The moderator's stance seems to be that "same-sex unions" should be married and allowed to adopt children, and any discussion or questioning from the opposing side results in a warning and being labeled as intolerant, discriminatory, or some kind of "backward hillbilly."

Which posts are you talking about? Give us the links so we can take a look.
How do you not see it....?
I was truly baffled seeing this particular moderator participating in discussions where women are systematically called sluts and idiots (those posts were sanctioned or deleted... eventually, by a different moderator) yet the same moderator issues a warning when you express a personal opinion stating that you view homosexuality as a disorder!
I hope you understand where I'm coming from. ☕

I didn't report it because your colleague jumped right into the debate after that post, so I just assumed he had already read everything prior!
Since I can't get an answer from him directly, I’m actually quite curious about the justification for that warning I received during our discussion—you know, where we were clearly coming at this from opposite sides of the fence. Personally, I feel the warning wasn't objective at all, and frankly, I don't believe I violated any of the subforum rules.
It says here that calling homosexuals "disordered" or "sick" is prohibited. Fine, okay.
But defending a personal opinion for the sake of a debate... 😕
I never once called homosexuals sick or disordered. I simply expressed my own personal view that homosexuality is an anomaly or a disorder, and for that, I was slapped with a warning by the very same moderator who stepped into the discussion with me—someone who clearly holds a different, opposing viewpoint.
Well, yes,
recently homosexuality was removed from the list of psychological disorders, but there is still a significant number of people who disagree with that. Currently, that second school of thought is gaining some ground.
Actually, that isn't even the main point.
It's funny, really... I remember writing recently that I believe people who reach a certain age without having established any romantic, emotional, or sexual contact with the opposite sex (or even the same sex, for that matter) possess some kind of disorder, whether it's socio-psychological or physical—like a hormonal deficiency.
That wasn't flagged with a warning; it was treated as a valid opinion that I explained and defended, yet my "other opinion" regarding homosexuality was met with an immediate warning!
I used to find all those stories about the famous gay lobby quite amusing. Now, I'm not so sure.
Look, you can certainly see a moderator's personal stance during a debate, but should that same stance be used as the criterion for moderation?
It's just not clear to me, so I would truly appreciate it if someone could explain the logic behind this in a bit more detail. 🤷
I ended up getting flagged during a heated debate over on Reddit regarding same-sex marriage, where I shared my personal view that homosexuality—as a concept—is actually a disorder.
I've been waiting, but naturally, I haven't received a single response.
And now, I’m looking at this other thread where guys are systematically calling women sluts without any moderation or consequences whatsoever!
Aren't the standards just absolutely wonderful?

Thanks so much to everyone for all the replies! I'll try to touch base with him once he manages to send over some other recommendations, because, let's be real—there's absolutely no point in worrying about pregnancy prevention if I'm not even planning on having sex 🙂
anyway!
In any case, you really should head to the gynecologist as soon as possible.
I truly believe they'll be able to provide much more professional and reliable advice than anyone here on the forum ☕
My apologies for the duplicate thread! Honestly, don't look at me—it’s clearly just a glitch with those high-end servers hosting this site.
I won't beat around the bush in the intro—the LES moderators will know exactly who I’m talking about just by looking at my handle.
So, here we go again... starting yet another thread. After several discussions popping up regarding her relationship, phiber finally decided it was time to weigh in.
Look, anyone has the right to start a discussion as long as they follow the site rules and the mods decide the conversation is actually heading somewhere productive.
But honestly? Her threads contradict each other constantly, much like her posts. Or, as we usually call it around here: pure trolling...
If I recall correctly, phiber has already locked down several of her threads by now. And don't even get me started on the sheer amount of negative energy radiating from her posts! Still, she always seems to hover right on the edge of avoiding a ban.🙂
Other users on the forum also point out her handle as a sign of trolling, noting her very distinct writing style and the fact that it looks like a clone account.
So, I’ve been wondering: wouldn't it be... well, I'm not sure how to put this... wouldn't it be a good idea to just prevent her from starting any new threads in the future?
-Though, in my opinion, that last thread actually managed to spark a somewhat constructive debate (but certainly not because of her).
Now, I am fully aware that I can be annoying to some people too; I know I can be ironic, sarcastic, and maybe even a bit of a troll myself (not that I fully grasp what that term means, to be honest), but I truly believe nothing good comes from that specific username and those constant topics.😁
I’m honestly quite relieved that this whole debate has finally wound down, even if it did happen in such a scattered fashion...
It’s a real shame, truly, because I’m currently buried under work from sunrise to sunset, which leaves me absolutely zero bandwidth to jump into the thick of things!
That being said, I’d love to pose a quick question to my dear old uncle Strilet: At the moment this thread was kicked off—just like the previous one that the moderators shut down—were there any instances of double standards, inconsistencies, or blatant discrimination taking place?
Cheers from Pusa Alexi, and a cold beer to the rest of you!
Jacob Wood9 said:Look, it’s possible that a specific ad might have slipped through the cracks due to a mistake or some sort of misjudgment, but if you're truly intent on posting these kinds of things, it might be more productive to reach out to the moderators for the romance and adult sections. Perhaps they could open up dedicated spaces where people can openly look for threesomes, group activities, physical intimacy, or whatever else is on their mind.
But that isn't even what this thread is about!!
What we are actually discussing here is the double standards, the hypocrisy, the total inconsistency, and that blatant intolerance fueled by the subjective worldviews of moderators who don't even seem to know how to consistently apply the very rules they wrote themselves... 🙂

Your Advertisement wasn't taken down because of "discrimination." It was removed because the format, the content, and the overall tone just didn't meet the criteria established in the very first post of this thread.
When you filed your complaint about the removal, all you did was vent—asking why they deleted yours but didn't delete his, even though he’s breaking the rules too.🙂
So, after feeling like you were treated unfairly, your way of fixing it is to demand that everyone else gets treated unfairly, too.🤷
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the moderators.😳
But as a regular on the US Forum, I think they actually made the right call here. 👍
It met the criteria! It was deleted because of discrimination, period.

Nicholas King said:So, what exactly is this colleague's take on adultery?
Essentially, an Advertisement where a couple together was looking for a side piece got nuked—(and by the way, they also later deleted that other Advertisement seeking physical contact, even though the moderator explicitly stated she didn't see anything wrong with it 😬)—yet there’s still a perfectly valid thread sitting right there where a married man is scouting for a girl.
Now, I suppose we’re all meant to just "assume" that this married guy is just looking for someone to play Sudoku with (and definitely not—eek!—sex), or maybe it's perfectly fine if only one half of a couple seeks out a partner, but heaven forbid they both do it together.
I’m honestly quite pleased that you’re also attempting to point out some of these logical inconsistencies—truly, I am! It's refreshing to see someone else noticing the cracks in the foundation. But, as you can clearly see from the current situation, there doesn't seem to be any massive payoff for doing so... It's all a bit futile, isn't it? Much like trying to fix a leaky faucet in an old house while the landlord is busy staring at the clouds instead of grabbing a wrench! Anyway, just my two cents!
I laid it all out for them—really hammered home all those contradictions, the blatant inequalities, and just how inconsistent the whole thing is... much like you did! Honestly, I’m kicking myself for not realizing that once they shut down my thread, the entire debate just migrated right over to the admin questions section.
But honestly, what really ought to be weighing on all of us here is the way the moderators handled this entire situation. I mean, really! I’ve always considered myself to have quite a developed knack for argumentation—I can hold my own in just about any debate, you know? It's a skill I pride myself on. When I was actually sitting down with them...
Proven! It’s honestly ridiculous—they kept locking my threads just because people were making mistakes! And get this: when the conversation started drifting toward that exact issue on a different thread, the mods stepped in and shut the whole thing down immediately. It happened right as you, Nicholas King, started getting aggressive with your points. I think they realized pretty quickly that you can actually make their lives a living hell if you start dismantling their logic with those sharp arguments of yours!🙂 )
So, after I finally backed rustydrifter10 into a corner and demanded a straight "yes" or "no" answer... suddenly, everyone just decides to look the other way? This whole thread is being completely ignored! Seriously!
And then—get this—on top of everything else, they actually go ahead and scrub the Advertisements we used to build our entire case! It’s just unbelievable. They were defending those exact same posts like they were gospel, acting like there wasn't a single question about how legitimate they were... and then, poof, gone! Just wiped clean.
It’s exactly like you said! Honestly, they could have just been upfront about it. They could have just looked us in the eye and said, "Look, we completely screwed the pooch on this one." That doesn't mean the criteria are magically going to change overnight, but at least there would be some accountability! They should have just owned the mistake, made their call on how things are going to work moving forward, and then stuck to it. Just total transparency—that's all anyone really asks for!
There were inconsistencies everywhere, just total illogicality, and honestly? It felt like pure discrimination.
Listen, let me be perfectly clear about this—the moderators over at the US subforum are absolutely adamant that they won't have their Advertisements turned into some kind of tawdry little sex-classifieds section! It’s just not happening!
Look, if you really think about it... the drive for sex is just one of those fundamental survival instincts! It’s right up there on the same level as the basic necessity to grab a bite to eat, stay hydrated, or simply take a breath of air into your lungs! It's all part of the biological programming, isn't it? Just pure, raw instinct!
Having advertisements on this forum while completely stripping away any sexual component is... well... it’s kind of like opening up this gorgeous, perfectly curated lounge where every single alcoholic drink you could possibly dream of is sitting there for free, but then strictly forbidding anyone from actually taking a sip! It just doesn't make sense, does it?
And here’s a little song dedicated to all those colorful nicknames out there! I just stumbled upon this video—honestly, my mind is completely blown! I was sitting here with my morning coffee, just scrolling through, when this popped up on my feed. It’s one of those things that makes you stop dead in your tracks and just... stare. You know that feeling? Like the world suddenly shifts an inch to the left? Anyway, I had to share it. There is something about the way this is presented that feels so incredibly profound, yet so simple at the same time. It actually reminded me of a conversation I had last summer while I was driving through the Rockies—just me, some old jazz on the radio, and this overwhelming sense of scale. Life is just so much bigger than our daily grind, isn't it? We get so caught up in the emails and the errands, but then you see something like this and realize we're all just tiny specks in this massive, beautiful universe. I mean, seriously, give it a watch. It really is something special. I'll be thinking about this one for a long, long time. Just... wow. Truly.
Honestly, I really think you all just completely blew it this time—total amateurs, if you ask me!☕
slywolf45 said:And why exactly is it against the rules to look for entertainment in the form of sex in an Advertisement?
At the end of the day, almost everyone posting those ads is essentially looking for a hookup. It hardly matters whether they want something serious or just a casual fling.
You don't say... 😁
The old-timers always say you can look for a casual fling, but you can't sound like you're just browsing a catalog at a strip club...
Oh, come on, how do you not get it? 🤣
silentridge3 said:What’s the right terminology to use when we're talking about those systemic anti-male regulations, government policies, and biased actions—you know, that whole wave of gender inequality aimed at men? And don't even get me started on the chauvinistic behavior coming from certain women, specific women's advocacy groups, or even those "progressive" organizations that seem to target the male gender specifically? I've been thinking about this all morning while sipping my coffee!
Thanks a million for that expression!
You know, it’s funny how language works! Back home in the rural parts of the Midwest, we have such specific ways of addressing our elders. We have this little term we use for grandmothers—it’s just part of the local flavor, you know? It’s one of those cozy, old-school expressions that really captures the spirit of the countryside. I was just thinking about my own Nana and how much those little linguistic quirks define where we come from! 🤷
Maybe, just maybe, in this particular instance, we could consider tossing in a little prefix—or perhaps a suffix—of the "f***ing" variety? Just a thought! 😁
Fortunately, here in the States, we have similar institutions out there providing refuge and support for men facing abuse. Depending on whether they're government-run or private non-profits, people tend to label them differently—some see them as essential lifelines, while others view them as nothing more than a curse on society!
Oh, my goodness, I just have to vent for a second! Honestly, men are just... ugh, such a struggle sometimes! It feels like we are constantly being pushed into this corner where we’re totally subordinate and everything is just so incredibly unequal. It’s actually quite exhausting! It honestly feels like they’re using these almost sinister, calculated tactics just to dim our light, degrade us, and try to make us feel small. It’s like they’re actively working to dull our spark so we don't shine as bright as we should! Just thinking about it makes me want to grab a huge latte and go for a long walk to clear my head! 😂🤣

I specifically said that while some people might be looking for that kind of thing in general, they aren't allowed to be direct or explicit about it in their Advertisement. Someone can post an ad saying they're looking for a walking buddy or just someone to chat with, and then they can work out the details for sex, an FWB setup, or whatever else via private messages. An Advertisement simply can't be worded in a way that makes it blindingly obvious what they're really after. That's the distinction.
And that right there is exactly why certain threads get locked.
There isn't any sexual discrimination happening here—anyone is free to seek out the company of a man or a woman, and I don't see anything wrong with mentioning sexual orientation. Likewise, your lifestyle choice shouldn't stop you from posting an Advertisement. The issue is strictly about how the ad is phrased and whether it’s so blatant that it’s clearly just a hookup request, which would be a total violation of the rules.
Oh, I am quite aware of that. Truly, I was fully aware of it even when I wrote that out—that is to say, when I was quoting you...
I simply wanted to hear/read this. 😁
We will certainly stick to those guidelines moving forward 😉

I kindly ask that you support that by answering my closed questions; essentially, just give me a yes or a no and we can consider the matter settled... ☕
First off, I am truly sorry that this thread was locked, especially since the discussion felt so constructive and genuinely engaging. However, I clearly understand why it happened: everything that needed to be said regarding that controversial Advertisement had been aired, the debate was held, a decision was reached, and that’s that. Fine, I accept it.
But let’s just momentarily forget about that Advertisement...
What continues to baffle me are certain logical inconsistencies and contradictions.
I won't be basing this on my own personal musings here; instead, I am going to question yours—specifically, what you all have written.
First, I must offer a huge round of applause to the moderator, Meadow, for her sheer professionalism!
Meadow says:
I just consulted with my colleague who handles most of the Advertisements, and his stance is this: if there were actually a serious Advertisement from a couple living in a polygamous relationship, we would have to deliberate on how to handle it based on the specific wording and the implicit message being sent.
If we examine our Beautiful Our laws, we see that same-sex marriages are illegal—meaning they aren't possible—just as polygamous marriages are. That doesn't mean two people of the same gender can't be in a relationship, just as three people can't be in a relationship. It's just that those types of unions cannot be legally recognized!
Furthermore, in Advertisements, individuals are permitted to state their sexual orientation even if it refers to the same sex. The very term sexual orientation (though, in these ads, they usually just write "gay") implies something physical.
So, if a "gay" person writes that they are looking for a partner, that Advertisement is legitimate. But if a couple writes that they are looking for a third person, then that Advertisement isn't—meaning it requires deliberation. Yet, such relationships are equally unequal/equal before the law 🤷
Meadow goes on to say:
Regarding seeking out new people for the purpose of practicing open relationships, my colleague's stance is negative, and I find myself aligned with him. Not because we personally have an issue with such a lifestyle choice, but because such Advertisements are mostly predicated on finding others for the sake of sexual experimentation.
It’s the exact same thing.
For example:
Greetings!!
A 27-year-old, cute/hot little blonde girl is looking for a female for some hanging out, fun, excitement, and everything else that comes with it (two winking emojis)
I'm from Chicago, feeling fancy...
All other questions via DM
Thanks
Kisses everyone! :*
Here, you all concluded that it wasn't about seeking someone for sexual experimentation... My closed-ended question is: if, instead of describing a single girl, a description of a couple was used while keeping the rest of the text unchanged, would the situation be different?
Example two and the same closed question:
Girl looking for another, for something—we'll see via text or immediately—for what exactly? Movies, drinks, walking along the riverwalk, wandering through the park, all options are open
In my late twenties, located in New York City, I work, and I smile here and there
The main thing is that you are yourself, and that you don't have time for over-analyzing
Moving on:
Meadow writes:
Regarding seeking out new people for the purpose of practicing open relationships, my colleague's stance is negative, and I find myself aligned with him.
Just a few lines later, she writes that the moderators, including herself, are not being subjective 😕
Meadow:
Any kind of swinging, cuckold relationships, sexual experimentation outside of marriage/a relationship, FMM, MFF—no.
(Returning to the paragraph written in a different font regarding equality before the law)
And finally:
rustydrifter10 writes:
On US Advertisements, people look for others for hanging out, going out, talking, or even relationships or FF arrangements. However, it is not the same to write an Advertisement where various options are left open versus specifically asking someone for sex.
Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, "what would it even do" to write that?!
That is a total self-goal! 😂🤣
So, looking at the Advertisements here in the USA, apparently it's perfectly fine to hunt for an FWB connection... If I’m reading the fine print correctly—and let me just double-check my understanding—the whole core definition of that term is someone seeking either casual or ongoing sexual encounters. This means people can post ads that directly violate the rules, yet if they phrase things slightly indirectly (as you all so subjectively concluded in our little previous example), then suddenly the post gets nuked? 😕
I truly made a concerted effort to remain completely impartial here, holding back any personal bias until this specific portion of my argument!
I still maintain that there is a glaring issue with inconsistency, a lack of objectivity, and blatant discrimination happening, and honestly, I believe I’ve managed to lay it all out right here using nothing but cold, hard facts.
And you know what the truly hilarious part of this entire circus is? If I were to take nothing but the facts, the guidelines, and the conclusions you all laid out in that last discussion, I could easily whip up an ad that fits perfectly within your own logic—while being much more blunt about breaking that famous rule of yours...
My sincere apologies if you feel like I’m badgering you, really, I don't mean to! Truth be told, I actually find myself looking forward to your replies and starting a fresh debate. Though, naturally, I’d prefer it to be centered on the issue of discrimination... rather than just arguing over one controversial Advertisement.
Paul 29:
Male, 33, living just outside NYC, employed. I'm looking to meet a girl—you know, someone to get to know properly—and we'll just see where things go from there! No pressure, just seeing what happens. I consider myself a pretty balanced guy—people tell me I've got decent looks, I'm relatively well-educated, and I actually read books! Plus, I’ve still got all my teeth and a full head of hair, which is a win in my book. Honestly, I’m not looking for some endless marathon of texting that eventually just fizzles out into nothingness. That’s just a waste of everyone's time. What I really want is to meet up in person, grab a drink, have a real conversation, and see if there's actual chemistry between us. And if we actually get the green light, man, the sky's the limit! Everything is on the table.
User123 says:
So, here's a little bit about me! I’m currently 20 years old—though I'll be hitting that big 21 milestone very soon, which feels quite significant, doesn't it? As for my physical stats, I stand about 5'8" and weigh around 155 pounds. I've got short brown hair and brown eyes, and I'd say I have a pretty average build. Oh! And I'm currently a student over in Chicago!
I’ve always had a massive soft spot for a good bit of banter—you know, those people who don't take themselves too seriously? I just can't stand pretense; give me someone honest any day of the week! I also really enjoy sports; now, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fanatic who lives and breathes every stat, but if there's a big game on, I am absolutely down to sit down and watch a great matchup. Oh, and music, too! And a solid movie? Count me in. I just love the simple things!
People keep telling me I'm sweet—you know, that youthful look, easygoing, charming, funny, and sharp! It’s quite the list, really!
I don't really hit the clubs that often—I mean, I'll go out once in a blue moon, sure—but most of my nights are pretty low-key. It’s usually just grabbing a coffee or a beer with my old college crew. We used to spend so much time hanging out after lectures!
What exactly am I looking for? I am looking to connect with a girl who shares some similar interests—someone between the ages of 16 and 21 with a lovely appearance. I'm open to anything from a solid friendship to just hanging out, though, if things progress naturally, I certainly wouldn't complain about moving toward something a bit more serious! Honestly, I’d even be happy to meet someone who is currently seeing someone, provided she has a close friend who might be a perfect match for me.
Shoot me a DM!

I'm a 31-year-old woman living in Chicago, and I’ve decided that I really want to find a female connection here! Honestly, I’d love to start things off very low-key—just some light texting and getting to know one another through messages first. I think it’s much better to build that rapport before jumping into anything else, don't you? Looking forward to chatting! And who knows where things might lead from there... maybe some genuine friendship, grabbing coffee, or just seeing where the wind blows!
P.S. Gentlemen, please don't bother messaging me.
Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing wonderful today!
Laura:
If you're willing to take me on, then I am all yours!
I am a 33-year-old New Yorker looking for an interesting man! I’d love to find someone a bit older than me—and if I really get a say in the matter, maybe someone tall with dark hair? Just a thought!
Jack:
So, this is my very first time posting an advertisement on here! I'm feeling a bit of a mix of nerves and excitement, honestly—sort of like that time I tried to bake a sourdough loaf from scratch and ended up making more of a mess than actual bread, haha! Anyway, let's just see how this goes and see if anyone takes notice!
So, here's the deal... I'm turning 19 soon! I’m currently living in Chicago, standing about 5'9" and weighing around 136 lbs. As for my look? I've got this short, brownish-blonde hair and blue eyes. Now, don't get me wrong—I’m definitely not some runway model or anything like that—but I wouldn't say I'm unattractive, either! I guess you could say I'm just an average guy. When I'm not out and about, I'm usually deep into a game of chess or lost in some complex math problems. There's just something about the logic of it all that really gets me going!A little bit naughty... you know, start off with some texting just to see if there's any actual chemistry, and then? Who knows! Honestly, I think that’s plenty of detail for an Advertisement.
She says she needs someone to keep her warm during those freezing winter days (and nights, too)!
HoneyBunny22:
I am searching, I am searching, I am searching...! I’ve just been sitting here thinking about how much I could use a handsome young man to keep me warm during these freezing winter days we're having... honestly, with this weather hitting us, I could really use some company! It would be ideal if this young man is somewhere in that 23 to 25 age range, and ideally hailing from Chicago. I happen to be 22 myself, and I'm also a local here in Chicago! Well, I say we stay close enough so we can actually keep each other warm!
I really wish you were charming, funny, and tall—like, actually handsome! But seriously, being over 5'11" would be ideal since I’m pretty tall myself. Since I'm currently a student, it would be great if you were also in college or at least finished up your degree already... I'm not exactly hunting for a specific hair or eye color, though I should probably mention that I have brown hair and green eyes.
If you actually enjoyed what you just read, please, do reach out! I’d love to hear from you.
Maple Avenue:
I'm just a college student in my early twenties! I’ve been thinking lately—and I know I tend to wander off on these little tangents—but I really find myself wishing I could connect with someone who truly shares my perspective on things. You know that feeling? Where you look around and realize how rare it is to find a kindred spirit who just *gets* it? It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, or honestly, trying to find a decent parking spot in downtown Chicago on a Friday night! Anyway, I suppose what I'm trying to say, in my own slightly long-winded way, is that I would love to meet someone who sees the world through the exact same lens that I do. Just one person! Is that too much to ask? Honestly, I feel like we’re all just drifting through this digital void, and frankly? It’s getting a bit lonely. There is a serious lack of physical contact lately. Everything is just screens and pixels, you know? Sometimes you just need that real, human connection—a handshake, a hug, or even just being in the same room as someone else. It’s all becoming so disconnected! He’s just not looking for anything serious right now—not looking to settle down or dive into a committed relationship. If you're wondering what I'm actually looking for in a partner, here are the qualities that would really make someone stand out to me:
Non-smoker.
High.
I honestly can't even begin to describe how much I hate this! It's just... ugh. Everything about it is so incredibly frustrating!
I simply cannot help myself! I was just sitting here, sipping my coffee—the good stuff from the local roastery, not that instant nonsense—and this thought hit me like a bolt of lightning! It’s just one of those things, isn't it? You know, those sudden realizations that make you want to stand up and cheer! I find myself constantly pondering the little details of life, the tiny nuances that most people just breeze right past, but I just can't! It's quite overwhelming, really, but in the most delightful way possible! Anyway, I'm just feeling incredibly spirited today! Everything feels so vibrant!
I simply cannot help myself! I have been sitting here, staring at my screen, just absolutely bursting with things I need to say about this whole situation! It’s one of those days where everything feels so incredibly interconnected, isn't it? Like a giant web of events, all swirling around us in this great American landscape! Anyway, I was just thinking—and please bear with me, I know I tend to wander—about how much life changes when you're just trying to navigate the daily grind. You know that feeling? That sense that you're just waiting for the next big thing to happen? Well, I feel like we're right on the precipice of something truly monumental! It’s almost overwhelming, if I'm being completely honest! I even told my neighbor, a lovely woman who lives over near Maple Avenue, that I felt a shift in the air today. She just laughed, bless her heart, but I know what I felt! Everything is moving so fast, and yet, sometimes it feels like we're standing perfectly still. Isn't that a fascinating paradox? Just wonderful!
Please send over your resume and some photos—I'll be checking my DMs!
EDIT: Chicago.
🤣😂🤣😂🤷🙂🙂
It seems like everyone and their mother is talking about heating lately... It’s everywhere! Honestly, I can't scroll through my feed without seeing some new gadget or service promising to revolutionize how we stay warm this winter. It’s becoming such a massive topic of conversation!
Maybe we should have just written that we’re freezing our tails off—I mean, can you blame us? With heating bills spiking by 40%, it’s getting ridiculous! We could have played the "it's too cold" card and suggested we need another girl to keep us warm during these winter nights. Would that have worked better? Would people have bought into that? Honestly, I think it might have actually been a winning strategy!
You guys are being inconsistent and subjective (though I won't go so far as to call you hypocritical!)
So, once again, I’m formally requesting that those in charge restore our advertisement!
