It seems ESPN moved Formula 1 to their new high-def format and sold those exclusive rights to a different provider. Honestly, it's wild that ESPN is still airing live Russian soccer matches while the rest of the civilized world is imposing economic and sporting sanctions on Russia and fearing the Russian bear. M.

ESPN HD isn't some made-up channel. It was available on DirecTV up until last year, but they didn't pick it up in the new contract.

Blame AT&T; they're the ones responsible for you not having it.
Come on, Valtteri Bottas. 👍 👍
Why not just put $1,000 on him winning then?

Their names are practically tattooed on their asses. 😬 😬
Anyone else catch this?

Track 24 on Disc 2 shows up in the Box Set tracklist, but it’s nowhere to be found on the actual CD audio.
It isn't some mistake, either—there's an explanation for it right in the booklet.

So they just list a song that isn't even on the disc? What a joke. I wouldn't waste five bucks on this, let alone the full price. Who knows what other nonsense is hidden in this box.
Nicholas Patel44 said:It’s a damn shame the new generation didn't grow up with physical media. I feel like they're at a disadvantage because they lack that tactile connection to music. It's becoming glaringly obvious now. As for the older crowd, they aren't buying much anymore, except for that small group constantly scouring Discogs or hitting up places like Amoeba Music or Freebird...

Our only real shot is if CDs or physical formats make a massive global comeback. Since people here tend to follow trends, once it hits, it'll catch on here too. You know how it works—once something blows up in the US or the UK, it trickles down everywhere else immediately.

Otherwise, this whole sales trend won't last more than ten years.

It isn't just the kids who have lost interest in physical media; the format itself is just impractical. You can fit endless music on a phone or a USB drive. You plug it into the car via Bluetooth and you're good. Honestly, I barely listen to anything at home anymore.

I think I'm going to sell off my vinyl collection. I haven't actually listened to them in at least 20 years.

What's the market like right now for classic American New Wave records, and where's the best place to list them?
Safety Car.
Nice work, Max.

I didn't ruin anything; your own subordinates did—those amateurs who keep setting tasks while completely ignoring what was already decided.

What kind of president are you if your staff won't even listen to you??

Maybe it's time to just step down and resign.

Man, you saw how much Bottas let up on the throttle before Max.
cosmiccyclist8 said:Why start a thread about the Mexico City Grand Prix instead of just reminiscing about the most intense race ever held on that track? 🕺
That overtake, clawing back 2nd place on the final lap—Nigel Mansell versus Gerhard Berger, worn tires against fresh ones, diving into the Peraltada corner against all laws of physics.

If Berger had pulled off that move on Mansell today, he’d be looking at at least a 10-second penalty.

Formula 1 has become incredibly soft.

What does "Flet" actually mean?
I thought we’d be looking at some summer gear, but you went and picked out something meant for a winter coat. 🤦 🤦
Race halted; they'll split the points down the middle.

Russell makes the podium. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Jack Kelly5 said:ABC isn't broadcasting Formula 1 this year.

They actually are, but only for four races. They're skipping today, but they'll show Imola and Brazil.

ESPN is carrying the race.
And so it begins.
It started at 3:25 PM, and now it’s already on the screen.
Jason Campbell70 said:Two of the greatest drivers ever, Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher, both came up from pretty modest backgrounds.

The Schumacher family actually ran a restaurant right at the karting track in Indianapolis, which basically gave their kids unlimited track time whenever they felt like it.

Michael owned the place back in 2001 when I visited—not sure if he still does, but I think he might. The local town even renamed a street after him, Michael Schumacher Street.

The start is scheduled for 3:20 PM local time.
