Jerry Gray5 said:There was already an agreement yesterday that nothing gets thrown onto the pitch, and that stands for the foreseeable future. Isn't it funny how people act like trolls on these forums, refusing to back anyone who actually stood up for what happened or trying to point out what "certain people" did wrong?

And to all you other keyboard warriors—if you actually exist in real life and aren't just some ghost behind a screen—if you truly have a grievance about anything at all, you know exactly who to contact, right? If you reach out, people will actually listen and explain things to you!

Please, don't even try telling me I'm just being a troll on this forum; honestly, those are the most ridiculous excuses I've ever heard. This forum exists for discussion, doesn't it? I was simply asking a legitimate question, and if this space isn't meant for that, then why not just shut it down and remove the MLS Ultras sub-forum entirely instead of labeling everyone who posts something as an internet hooligan? And I posted here specifically because I wasn't sure who else to turn to, so why don't you just send me a private message with a phone number for someone I can call to ask why flares were being tossed onto the field yesterday? (And it’s not just about the flares, there are plenty of other issues too).
It's even more hilarious when people suggest I should be apologizing to them; if the MLS Ultras decided they weren't going to throw things on the pitch, then how on earth did those four people even end up doing it?

As for what that street smart guy mentioned... the issue isn't just the flares on the pitch; I'll be the first to admit I've thrown ten of them myself over the last decade, but the real problem is *when* it happens. If we gave our full support to the people who were using every ounce of their remaining strength to save this club, then why are we spitting in their faces just because of some idiot from the league office?

Besides, who are we even trying to prove anything to by throwing flares? If we don't light them up for the next five years, we won't be the best pyrotechnics crew ever again. We've lit up stadiums in cities like Chicago or Philly under the heaviest police crackdowns imaginable, yet in Milan, it looked like a total inferno.

So, we’re basically watching this desperate attempt to save the club at the absolute last second by dragging them along with a rope shaped like our mascot while the Board of Directors just plays games for their own sake? I mean, seriously, how can you guys claim to be the most hardcore supporter group out there if you can't even call out one complete idiot? It's honestly hilarious...
And look, when it comes to Blento, this isn't about throwing a few flares; it's about basic principles. If we were the ones who voted in people like Branka Ramljak and Ljubo Pavasovic—who basically spend every single day neglecting their actual jobs—and then we decide to throw flares onto the field, isn't that just a direct way of slapping them in the face?

wearywolf57 said:The guy is absolutely losing it over this message from the Democratic Party, which was basically a circus act waiting to happen sooner or later. And isn't he taking it a bit too far by calling us all overly sensitive, just like the Bad News crew, based on what he thinks is one pathetic little note? Isn't that a bit much? Well...

I mean, seriously, how am I supposed to not be disgusted? Are we even here to support the team, or have we become our own worst enemy, acting just like those Bad News types?
Personally, I’ll admit I’ve tossed a flare onto the field at least ten times in my life—and I did it on purpose because that was just how things were done back then! But most of that happened during the old glory days, long before this era of mediocre amateurs took over. Back then, we actually fought against the people ruining the club, and if you look at where we are now, it's clear they almost destroyed everything.
But throwing a flare now, when we're staring down bankruptcy and the literal threat of the club folding, is pure insanity, isn't it? And all of this is happening just to please some corporate suit. For the first time in my life, I actually find myself agreeing with someone I usually disagree with, because even the Black Knights are prioritizing some bloated executive over our own interests. Instead of going after the corrupt management and the league officials every single game, we've somehow decided to play nice for the sake of the higher-ups. To me, that feels like an even bigger disgrace than when the club's ownership was swapped out for that Inter Miami group.

By the way, the cheering yesterday was just plain depressing. When it really mattered and we needed to push those kids through the final 20 minutes—since they were falling apart like house of cards—there were maybe 13 people left standing in the stands. But I guess it makes sense, doesn't it, since it's been ages since anyone could cheer without needing some authority figure to give them permission.

Can someone please give me a rational explanation for why four flares are being tossed onto the pitch when the club is practically teetering on the edge of bankruptcy? I mean, when our chief executive has to practically beg big-time lenders like JPMorgan Chase just to secure a line of credit, does this really make sense? Is it because some random guy on the street told us we’re the "good guys," so now we’re flashing messages like HHO and throwing pyrotechnics? Who exactly are we trying to impress here—HHO or the local hooligans? Are we honestly becoming just as insecure and obsessed as those other crews? To be honest, seeing those flares and that message today was a massive embarrassment for the Chicago Blackhawks fans. If we’re going to act like such hardcore rebels, shouldn't we be throwing those flares at the owner's face or toward his penthouse instead of wasting them against the club's empty budget?

Well, people finally caught on, which is why everyone is laughing now because the whole thing was just such a brilliant setup, wasn't it? 🤣🤣🤣

A few years back, my club actually had the chance to pick up a van for $2667. It was this fantastic little green Volkswagen, and honestly, it barely had any miles on it at all. You see, once these vehicles hit a certain mileage, agencies like the U.S. Forest Service are required to buy new ones, and they end up putting the old fleet up for auction. If you know how to navigate that process, you can sometimes score a great deal for next to nothing. If anyone here understands how those auctions work, you could probably help someone out by snagging a van for under $0.00

It’s absolutely wild, man, just pure madness.
From here on out, everyone better have their cameras ready at all times so they don't miss a single second and actually have something to show their grandkids later, right?

Oh, come on, stop being such a drama queen...
Are you seriously suggesting we go after the entire Rangers Supporters Club video crew now? What on earth could they possibly be filming anyway?
I honestly can't deal with this topic anymore, goodness gracious!

Zachary Anderson49 said:That’s exactly why this group ended up the way it is, isn't it? Most of the crowd here seems much more interested in watching the post-game highlights than actually discussing the match itself, don't you think?🙂

So, are we really such a bad group of people? Is that what we've become? 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Is there any other way to explain why capturing the footage matters so much? You don't actually need to find someone who thinks they’re some kind of expert on what true fandom looks like—someone who wants to lecture us on who qualifies as a hardcore supporter, who’s just a casual fan, or who's simply a clueless person only interested in the visual spectacle.

Does it even matter if you’ve watched the video a hundred times already? I truly believe it does. When you're feeling low or stuck in a bit of a funk, coming back to footage like this matters because it captures something raw—it's not just about seeing the highlights, but about witnessing that pure, unadulterated madness that defines the absolute peak of fan culture. These two clips alone don't even scratch the surface of the sheer chaos and energy that was actually exploding inside the stadium at that moment, do they?
Die-hard Ultras / Hardcore Supporters in Fans ·
Is it actually possible that there’s no footage of those final 15 minutes of the match????!!!! Seriously, if we really don't have it, then why even bother having a video section at all? It feels just as frustrating as when we missed out on filming that legendary 60-minute stretch back in San Francisco. I mean, how is it that in the 21st century, we still can't get a decent, standard recording? It’s not even about us folks who were actually there to witness it—honestly, my screen has been buffering for two days straight and I have no idea when it'll stop—but the real issue is our grandkids. In 30 or 40 years, they won't be able to see what true support for a club looks like, especially now that we finally have an honest organization where our boys are playing, guys who haven't spent seven months crying and won't end up being just like the old days in 30 years where players and fans are basically the same person. After that goal from Romi, this was hands down the best moment of my life standing in the North Stand, and I can hardly believe that I'll be the one stuck retelling the whole story to my grandkids three decades from now, just like my grandfather had to tell me about how things were back in 1950 because there weren't any cameras back then.

Man, shut your mouth, you absolute clown... we'll see how loud you are in downtown Chicago later if the team actually manages to pull off a win next week without getting crushed, because if they don't, you're honestly just hitting rock bottom.

I wonder where MC Med has wandered off to lately? Honestly, during those last few months he was hanging out here in the city, he was easily the wildest guy you’d ever meet, hands down!

Honestly, I don't think any other group of fans in the entire world has ever lit up nearly as many flares as our NFL Ultras have throughout their history, but what’s even more significant is how, even under this massive wave of police repression, they still light them up with this insane, unshakable conviction—knowing full well that probably 90 percent of the fan groups across the rest of the country wouldn't dare strike a single match while facing such heavy-handed crackdowns.

Honestly, what else is there to even talk about after seeing an image like this? It’s pretty rare to find any group in the world that can pull off something quite like this. And once this picture is out there, I feel like the debate is just over, isn't it? 😁

Christian Richardson5 said:"I'd take 26 years of pure pride over 62 years of constant compromise any day."

Hahaha, honestly, that might be the most powerful thing anyone has said on this board so far! But if you look at what’s actually happened over the last year, isn't it true that half the group turned into total agents while the other half boycotted them before finally deciding to show up at the stadium again? It's just hilarious. I actually feel a little bad for those poor boys; I mean, they can't even fill their own section during a massive derby anymore. Do you think they'll ever actually get back to how things used to be?

You might as well start telling everyone to get moving immediately🤦

Hahaha, honestly, they should just start telling everyone to get on their feet starting today! Why stop there? Let's have them climb out of bed, walk out of restaurants, or even head out from the ER—wherever you want them to start walking, let's just go for it, haha!

Benjamin Cruz78 said:they haven't really had the chance to prove themselves over all these years, have they?
but honestly, I think they have

I mean, you can clearly see today that they can pull off an incredible choreo without just following some script, and isn't it true that about 95 percent of the north stands show up and cheer normally during those massive games?
and why are we even wasting our breath talking about them when there weren't even two groups like that just the other day
Die-hard Ultras / Hardcore Supporters in Fans ·
Good grief, what on earth are you even talking about? Honestly, just stop replying because I can’t make heads or tails of anything you're saying anymore. I wrote that I was from a tiny little town in rural Kansas, not some random place out of nowhere. If I’m even understanding you correctly—and that’s being generous since I barely understand a word—are you actually trying to tell me that New York City is nothing but trash? If that's your take, then you are completely and utterly lost.
Die-hard Ultras / Hardcore Supporters in Fans ·
Honestly, wanderingcobra18, you’re being such a drag lately. Can we please just move past this whole "donkey" thing already? How long are you going to keep bringing it up? I mean, what are you even talking about right now? Are you feeling all smug because you think you've spelled out every single obvious point like some kind of genius? We were actually having a productive conversation about how to step up our game and improve the atmosphere for the Yankees faithful, but here you are again, obsessing over the same old nonsense for the thousandth time just because you think you have it all figured out! What if you had been born in some tiny, isolated town in the middle of nowhere without any internet access—wouldn't you be just as clueless as everyone else? It isn't the fault of others that they might not see things your way or lack certain insights, is it? You should honestly just be happy that you aren't one of them; instead of picking fights constantly, why not try teaching people a little bit or explaining things more clearly? It’s so much easier to just lash out and argue, isn't it? Go ahead then, let's all just fight. Why don't you try offering an actual suggestion for once, unless that's too much work or you simply haven't got a single idea in that head of yours?

cosmictinker46 said:So what, we should just stop standing up altogether because of some cartridges? Or maybe we should stop carrying flags and banners, quit lighting the flares, and just shut up and stop cheering for the full 90 minutes?

Look, because of people like you who constantly attack others, regular folks feel like they can't even share their own thoughts without getting jumped on... why attack someone immediately when they're just expressing what they believe is right? Personally, I actually agree with them. I'm not saying we should stop cheering entirely, but maybe we shouldn't be doing it for the whole game—instead, we should make those moments much more intense. Tell me, since you're such an expert, who did this current approach actually benefit? I don't see how things could get any better; if anything, we're just falling into this repetitive, boring routine. If we hadn't gotten those two new songs this past fall, the atmosphere at the Yankees faithful games would have been absolutely soul-crushing from boredom.
Don't you think it's better to have that massive roar erupt ten times during the game out of pure passion, rather than this constant drone? During the big games, we create the energy, but the other night felt like there was zero atmosphere, and that was only the first game after a three-month break! Just imagine what it's going to be like by the end of the season.
And listen, this is just my take, so if you or anyone else disagrees, please just say so normally and back it up with some logic instead of attacking me instantly; maybe I actually am wrong. For instance, with this style of cheering, we actually managed to make sure that during derbies and high-stakes matches, our support isn't just a joke anymore, but actually feels top-tier most of the time. But if we keep acting like this toward people, we're just going to drive everyone away. We really need to find some kind of middle ground.
