Regarding the whole "weaponry" debate, it really just depends on the individual’s temperament. Unfortunately, neither side of this argument is immune to being swayed by it.
And as for this whole "brotherhood above all else" sentiment—don't be hypocrites. You think you would have passed up that opportunity?? Well, we didn't get to take it during the national team game.
Jonathan White57 said:Look, don't let it get under your skin 🙂 that bragging isn't really their whole thing; honestly, the folks who stayed in the stands when everyone else was fleeing—they’re likely just grinding away right now, trying to rebuild the group because there is still so much work left to do (right now, they're actually trailing behind both the Los Angeles Raiders fans and the Seattle Sounders fans in terms of their presence in the stands), and you have to respect them for the sheer weight they carry, even if things feel a little easier to breathe through lately. And as for Jesse Campbell, don't take him too seriously if he gets caught up with the crowd from the south side; he just loves to push your buttons (which, I have to admit, he's incredibly good at 🤣 ) and talk himself and everything he touches up.
Jesse Campbell said:Oh, absolutely—it’s just standard fan banter, nothing more. They take every little thing out of context just to spin these half-baked, flimsy arguments that fall apart the second you look at them. Honestly, it just screams how insecure they are about themselves and their own crowd.
Jesse Campbell said:Honestly, I have no clue why everyone is getting so incredibly bitter in these threads, especially since I actually kicked off this whole debate by pointing out things like:
Why on earth do you all feel the need to push forcefully just to be number one at everything? What kind of twisted mindset is that? Look, I love you guys, truly—I love messing around and joking with you all—but this attitude isn't doing you any favors... This ridiculous mentality is exactly why your city and your club have gone downhill...
Samuel Jones31 said:You guys absolutely blew it, and what makes it worse is you had the entire city backing you up; you could have demanded anything you wanted. This club was practically built for a membership-driven model, yet you just stood there and let yourselves be sold off, and now you can all sit there and act like you actually have some leverage. If there had been even a shred of common sense involved, you could have structured this club properly... but what’s the actual benefit of this privatization? You don't own the club, yet it survives entirely on your backs while those owners contribute nothing but taking.
Benjamin Thomas2 said:When you strip away all the noise and look at the cold, hard truth, the fact remains that a unified fan base could actually accomplish something significant—but let’s be real, that’s never going to happen. If the BBB had any actual backbone, they could be out there making waves, celebrating titles, and traveling across Europe just like any other major supporter group does, but instead, you guys just sit there singing "Dalmatian Alone" and praying for a miracle that isn't coming.
Jesse Campbell said:What on earth are you even talking about? Any casual observer of this forum knows that the Black Knights—and strictly the Black Knights—are constantly picking fights. You guys are ready to drag out an argument with the Bad Boys for nineteen straight pages. Then there’s The Mafia, the Cohort, and so on... whereas over here, we don't even bother with that kind of nonsense...
I wasn't trolling the Black Knights at all when I wrote that the BBB are the most powerful group in all of Europe when it comes to supporter culture. But apparently, your little band of friends, whose reasoning skills seem somewhat limited, interpreted that as me nitpicking your specific group...
I mean, look, you Miami folks are famous for being hyperbolic. If you can sit there and claim that Miami is the most beautiful city in the world—which is utter nonsense, considering there are at least ten more stunning cities and spots just within the US—then why shouldn't I be allowed to say that the BBB are the toughest group in Europe in terms of uncompromising grit, "story," and pure balls? Which, frankly, is very, very close to the truth.
Huh? ☕
Of course, any claim should be open to scrutiny, including mine. But I'm not buying that hollow argument that other groups should act the same way if they were in our shoes. That's just empty rhetoric that rarely holds water in reality. If a group has been in intense opposition for years against so many powerful adversaries, then that actually means something. And I guarantee you, it isn't by accident.
Do you want me to start listing all the groups that bowed to political pressure, hung their heads, or turned into nothing more than corporate agencies and total garbage??? ☕
Austin Chase2 said:Look, I’m really not interested in getting into some playground shouting match where we just argue about whose dad is tougher than the other, but I think you need to realize that the level of repression at Madison Square Garden and Dodger Stadium is on a completely different scale, if you catch my drift...
coastalangler16 said:I’m not trying to lecture anyone here, but honestly, I think the guy hit the nail on the head. It’s just like what someone else mentioned earlier—about 90% of this stuff is clearly geared toward kids. I don't know if I'm just being old-fashioned or what, but it feels like everything is designed specifically to catch the eye of some 15 or 16-year-old. Maybe that’s exactly who the "marketing" geniuses are aiming for; they probably assume teenagers will snap up the fan gear way faster than the older crowd, who’d much rather just walk into a regular store like S. Oliver or Mustang and buy a decent, normal t-shirt. If that's the strategy, then fine, I get why the designs look this way, but personally? It all seems a bit too childish for my taste...
Christian Moore41 said:Look, stop being so stubborn about this! You told me yourself back then that they were just going through some growing pains, and what people are calling a total group breakup today is really just some petty bullshit that could be smoothed over with one honest, adult conversation—just not in some digital shouting match on an internet forum.
😁
Christian Moore41 said:there wasn't a damn thing happening back thenwe’d get into scraps up in the North stands every few games over the most trivial nonsense—even just someone giving you a look like "what are you staring at?"
Honestly, I can't even describe it properly; I once got into a full-blown brawl on the bleachers with a guy, and when we finally finished, we just shook hands and went right back to cheering like absolutely nothing had happened. We valued different things back then—it didn't matter whose territory it was or what specific "faction" you belonged to.
When everyone is fully invested with pure hearts, those little outbursts don't necessarily have to be bad or end in disaster.
p.s. alright, now everyone just calm down because this is starting to feel like a bunch of empty arguments and way too much hot air being blown everywhere.
love you all else😁

Basically, it’s just us, it doesn't matter how we got here, and things are going to happen exactly how we say they will, so screw everyone else!
Fantastic, I can already see that incredible progress and that sense of synergy and unity that was totally missing before!!
The small towns?
Those "small towns" were the ones keeping this entire group afloat while those of us from ST were out there scrambling to find a van or even a car just to make it to an away game.
Just be careful about where you try to play the leader and how you choose to exert that authority!
There, consider that a little piece of benevolent advice from me, since you seem so eager to hand them out to everyone else!
That’s enough chatter from both @Naler and myself on this forum!

When I look back at those old-school photos floating around the internet now,
I see you guys who decided to climb into that whole ultras scene; sure, you aren't wrong about the vibe, but you are fundamentally mistaken about the big picture.
You’re going to destroy the Black Knights because, between the actual police repression we face and everything else, you're narrowing our entire identity down to a mere 300 or 400 people.
You might win some small battles on the street corner, but you'll lose everything else that matters.
It’s obvious what’s squeezing you—it's a million different things, from the shame of seeing the North Side crowd get into brawls to all that other nonsense... etcetera, etcetera.
I see the movie you're trying to make... but the Black Knights have always been a complete mix of everything... a blend of hardcore ultra cinema and even the mainstream pop appeal of someone like Barbra Streisand.
To be incredibly blunt and radical about it,
that diversity was always our greatest strength and our unique identity, regardless of what any of you think.
The current situation we've found ourselves in is terrible, and nothing good is going to come from it.
Especially during these specific moments when our beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers actually achieve something significant.
And heaven forbid we find ourselves in a total mess with the club.
My advice? Organize yourselves like the IRA does. They’ve got Sinn Fein and their "ordinary" folks,
along with a spokesperson who handles the negotiations with the English,
while there's another side ready to throw the bombs... they're connected, just not publicly... everyone has their role to play.
Who's stopping you from organizing a radical ultra wing to handle things, maybe even getting into scraps with Russians in Azerbaijan if that's what it takes?
But this vision you have, where the guys throwing the bombs are the ones leading the charge? That simply won't fly in today's world.
Particularly when you're going to get absolutely wrecked by the people you're "looking at sideways" in the stands.
And trust me, they will wreck you.
You’ll end up killing off both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the very group
that you claim to pledge your life to.
Regards.
Gary Green32 said:I’m actually glad we’ve finally managed to spark even a somewhat constructive debate here on the forum, even if everyone isn't seeing eye to eye.
So, I'll weigh in myself, just to make sure the actual pulse of the stands—the soul of this forum—is felt, since we have all sorts of personalities represented here.😁
Personally, what really rubbed me the wrong way was how Lekić was treated like some sort of sacrificial lamb, mostly because of how they framed it and the rumors floating around town about the "reasons" he had to be moved out. It turned out that instead of being forced out, he actually reached an agreement with the leadership group, which, if you think about it, proves the guy is a class act; his ego clearly isn't bigger than the group or the Black Knights.
The biggest flaw for the Black Knights over all these years has been the actual cheering. For God's sake, people are called supporters because they actually support the team, and the Black Knights have always struggled with that consistency. During Lekić's era, things actually leveled up. However, people tend to forget the Brđani, who spearheaded that famous chant along with many other groups and individuals. People also overlook the rest of the North Stand, which is unfair because Lekić isn't solely responsible for the improved atmosphere, nor did he always hit the mark perfectly. But the guy was there every single match, and I have to respect that. The group has evolved in various ways over the last few years for the sake of the collective, not just because of Lekić, despite what some people claim... it’s not like he’s alone setting up the choreographies, bringing the flares, or beating the drums; HE IS FIGHTING FOR OUR HAJDUK.
The guys who have stepped up recently have genuinely impressed me with their brilliant idea at the stadium: having more people lead the chants. They are slowly proving that the atmosphere shouldn't rely on one single individual—someone most reasonable people would find positive—but rather that they just need to keep the momentum going.
They are facing the biggest battle of their tenure now: reviving the rest of the stands so people actually engage with the group's work. They need to foster unity and cohesion between the different sub-groups and neighborhoods, motivating the local crews who are always in the North Stand to feel like part of a cohesive unit rather than isolated factions. Organizing hangouts, trips, and just general chaos will help bond the crew together.😁 I also believe that order and hierarchy must exist, but certainly not in the form of a single dictator.
I won't dwell on the old days or make comparisons; let the past stay in the past because you can't change it—you can only learn from the mistakes. We need to look forward, think about the future, and figure out how to be even better.
And finally, to those saying we're nothing special or whatever... look, we aren't the top tier of Europe, but we are definitely near the top, so don't underestimate us. Every time we've traveled to face those "elite" fanbases, we've never been an embarrassment.
The only thing is, we need to practice our chants a bit more for when we play the Russians; maybe we can coordinate with the guys from the city, since they're about to start their training sessions too.😁
