Gosh, you're such a riot....

Do you guys even know what "kavatap" means? It's basically when things are totally out of whack, like, if I told you to go kick rocks...

Hey mods, is it cool if I use emojis here?

@Ivankovic

Yeah, I saw it later on, the registrar's office said there were about 5 million, thanks for the heads up!

ironlynx82 said:Of course we can! There’s nothing we can't handle! We proved everything yesterday. If we managed to pull 3,500 people out to Salat yesterday, I don't see why we couldn't fill up Madison Square Garden in a few months... and get this, that would be in the 2nd HMNL. What happened yesterday was just a little slap in the face for Mamić and his buddies, but imagine how much harder we could hit them if we filled the Garden...

Actually, what's the capacity at Salat? And this three and a half thousand figure—that's just a rough estimate, right?

PS. No provocations intended or anything, I'm genuinely curious. If you had asked me the day before, I probably would've said it'd be even higher, and honestly, I might have even bet money on it. Mind you, I don't follow the situation that closely—I don't know exactly what's going on in New York City, other than checking forums to see how much crackdowns and stuff are happening—but I still have this feeling it should've been more... it's the first match, it's yours, it's *your* club, and after a million years, finally something good and positive is happening, so I guess I feel like there should be more 😕 I mean, I really have no clue, which is why I'm asking about the capacity, maybe the videos didn't capture everyone properly 🤷

Then again, you can feel the atmosphere through the video. Man, you just can't fake it; numbers don't matter if the vibe isn't there. A stadium could be packed to the rafters, but if there's no energy, you can tell just by watching. Regardless, those three and a half thousand folks finally gave us a little breath of fresh air and some positivity after such a long drought. Congrats to everyone, just keep pushing forward, and please, someone give me an answer

PS. Someone mentioned earlier that it was "totally rocking," so while we're at it, can someone translate that for me? I get that "fest" means good, intense, or something like that, but it's my first time hearing that specific expression

Does anyone happen to have a high-res photo from that game where we had like a million little flags hanging from the ceiling in the north section? I can't quite remember, my brain is a bit foggy today, maybe someone could just remind me which game that was or when it happened?

I guess I’m just thinking out loud here, but man, those Bad Boys really know how to make an entrance, don't they? It's kind of wild when you stop to look at them. Maybe it's just me, but there's something about that whole vibe that stays with you. Just my two cents, anyway! kaže:
I honestly don't get why some people take this forum so incredibly seriously. For me, I approach this whole thing like I’m having a few drinks at some random dive bar in a neighborhood I’ve never even visited before. You know how it is—you try to keep your wits about you so you don't end up blathering out total nonsense while you're buzzed. I'm always a little bit on guard, too, because when you're in an unfamiliar part of town, you never really know when things might kick off with some rowdy locals. Most of those drunken ramblings just fade from your mind after five minutes anyway, but every once in a while, you might stumble upon someone who actually drops some surprisingly deep wisdom that sticks with you.
I mean, looking at the big picture, I don't think this whole forum thing is going to do much damage to the group. Honestly, we should probably keep that old marketing golden rule in mind—there’s really no such thing as a "good" or "bad" ad. As long as people are talking, it counts. Everything is basically just publicity, right? I guess that's especially true when you're trying to push a new product or get a specific story out there while the media landscape is feeling pretty hostile toward you.
Honestly, guys, don't even bother stressing yourselves out over these kinds of forums. It’s really not worth the energy. I think the best way to handle things is just to give our good people a little heads-up when they slip up or post something that isn't quite right. I mean, I’ve been there myself—I remember making a similar mistake on a different message board once. You just point it out, clear the air, and then move on with your life. That’s really all there is to it, I guess. Just keep moving forward.
Anyway, I just wanted to send a quick shout-out to my buddy Jeremy Mitchell11 over on the forums. Hope you're doing good, man!.
I guess I should probably mention that sometimes, I actually do enjoy reading some of his stuff. It’s kind of like that one story I told you guys about getting a little too tipsy while wandering through that foreign neighborhood—you know, where you end up hearing something genuinely interesting when you least expect it. Maybe it’s just one of those things where you aren't really looking for anything deep, but then suddenly, you stumble onto something worth reading.
That’s just how the cookie crumbles, I guess. Such is life!
I remember people used to tell me that all the time back when I was stuck in that big state penitentiary outside of Chicago. You know, during that stretch where they actually extended my sentence just because of some nonsense involving the game. It was wild, honestly.

Hey there! Just sending some good vibes your way. Hope everything is going great! 🙂

Do you ever actually swing by that pub where all those classic car guys hang out? They keep trying to get me on Facebook, but honestly, I just don't have the habit for that stuff. It's just not my thing, I guess.
I guess I really ought to swing by, if only to see how my old buddy from the Raiders is doing and check in on that crazy Vox guy—you know, the one who basically lives for a good laugh.

Keep pushing forward, seriously! This is such a solid idea. I mean, that guy? He’s basically foolproof—he couldn't possibly mess this up if he tried.

casualwolf48 said:It's just the city folks, regular people, that's why they don't show up to games or fill the stadium.

Exactly, I honestly don't get why people constantly downplay the "average guy."

An empty Yankee Stadium is the best proof that people actually get it. The issue is, they understand, but they aren't going to show up to Yankee Stadium. That’s how they show their protest. They aren't going to rise up, march in the streets, or fight actively. For that, you kind of need a stronger emotional spark. It feels like people have just put their love for the club into hibernation; they're just waiting for things to somehow—any way possible—get back on track before they jump back in.

And in my opinion, it isn't because "we're always first" or "because we keep losing in Europe."

Look, it’s simple: everyone sees what the MLS is like right now. It’s a rigged league, so much so that it makes people sick. You have one club paying its own staff and even covering its own damn ticket takers, while another club has the city paying their employees, covering all their competition costs, and then tossing them an extra 40 million—or 20, whatever—on top of that.

Where's the fun in the sport? Where's the fair play? Where are the level playing fields?

That's the crux of it. The only thing needed to truly heal soccer is fair play. Everyone gets the same officiating, and everyone receives the same amount of cash from the city—or nobody gets anything at all, doesn't matter. If everyone's costs are covered, then no one's costs are covered.

Don't give me that. I actually admire the Bad Boys and the whole Chicago vibe for this, I really do. It honestly scares me thinking about what would happen if this creep were in Miami. Though, it probably would be the same; you'd see success for the first couple of years until people finally realized...

Though, being as realistic and objective as I can, I think that as hard as it might be to remove him once the masses rally around "results," it would actually be easier to get rid of him once the tide turns. Man, it's hard to say, but I feel like the Boston Red Sox are loved more than the LA Lakers... if you look at those East and West stands.

Either way, you guys are in a tough spot, and I honestly don't see a way out unless he gets hit by a bus, or time just does its thing—society matures, and that fan who put their love for the club "on hold" realizes they have a personal social responsibility to step up. I mean, even regular people, even those who don't know a thing about offsides, need to realize that this affects them—that every single anomaly in society matters—and they should help wherever and however they can.

Until then... we'll just watch. Hang in there...

But there is a silver lining here. Come what may, one day, God willing, you'll look back on all of this with pride, just like you look back on the canjugin era if you were on the right side of history...

My club is losing, it sucks, but hey, the dream is still alive. Maybe you guys should try looking for some positives too. 😁

PS. To that guy muhammed—you're wrong. Just because Mamic stays after a terrible league season doesn't mean a single loss won't affect him. It depends on timing and money. And yeah, losses against the LA Lakers definitely go against him. Given what's known about the finances—like how he just grabbed some cash from Romania—I reckon his next season will be a "make or break" situation. He's dancing on the edge, which just shows how incompetent the man really is; despite having this monopoly, he can't even guarantee stable operations enough to make sure they see Europe three years in a row.

Tyler Thomas15 said:Are you even a member of Hajduk Split? Do you have a subscription? Nothing at all.

And then he goes and shows me his Raiders membership card.

I just can't wrap my head around this, I really can't. The idea that someone could be part of the Raiders but not actually be a member of Hajduk Split... Like, that one of those 5,000 or 7,000 people from the north isn't a club member? I mean, I honestly don't get it.

I guess I get that there are some people out there where the group is just more important than the actual club. That’s totally clear to me; it’s always been that way, maybe even a little more so in this modern era, but for me personally, it's just completely incomprehensible. Okay, sure, maybe there are a few individuals here and there who just love that whole ultra vibe—you know, showing up for the games just for the atmosphere while they don't actually care about the football itself. Hajduk is just the excuse to go. But I don't think that's just a couple of guys; it seems like more.

I remember how much people judged me when I wrote that I’d rather see the Raiders take five hits and have them filmed on camera by fifty idiots, rather than have us filming ourselves acting crazy, or anything else, instead of focusing on the club losing a massive game.
Whether it's big for the score, the atmosphere, or the finances.

People came after me, especially when I explained that everything involving the Raiders actually affects me too. It's not like I hold those views because, well, I don't really give a damn about the group anymore; I'm just not interested in the fan scene stuff. But it still gets to me when I see our banner being used near the Russians, especially after days of talking about it. But man, the club comes first. It's way, WAY ahead of anything else.

Honestly, no matter how hard I try, I just can't grasp it.

I suppose anyone heading to Ukraine, if things actually escalate, should probably be smart about it. It's going to be hell. And I wouldn't even be surprised if the Russians dropped by; it wouldn't be the first time. They and the Mexicans, they have that one thing in common: traveling around when your club isn't playing just to vent some frustrations...

And then there's this—"yesterday" they let you post, and "today" they ban you.
The hypocrisy from the moderators is just... wow. I'm honestly appalled.
And don't even get me started on how hypocritical people can be—one day they're friendly neighbors, and the next they're at each other's throats! Just imagine that.

Anyway, if you want to know how to avoid hypocrisy the "American way":

If someone—let's say our friend "N," who seems like an okay guy—is doing fine, you should probably trash him.
But then, after enough time passes and he totally screws up and becomes a complete disaster, you’re supposed to praise him and say you understand.

But wait, I guess that’s also hypocritical.

Now that I think about it more carefully, changing your mind is basically just synonymous with hypocrisy.

So, looking at these facts in a new light, if you want to avoid hypocrisy the typical American way, you should probably just go find the "silent majority" as soon as possible and quickly adopt that mindset where you just stay out of everything so you don't get mixed up in things.

Seriously, screw all of you with these idiotic logical fallacies and these constant spins; honestly, just ban me then.

Look, if someone is decent and you say they're decent, but tomorrow that same person turns into total garbage, you aren't allowed to say they're garbage, otherwise you're a hypocrite.🤣🤣🤣

I mean, everyone needs a total purge, starting from Štimac and Brandon onwards. Because at some point in their lives, they were definitely decent people, I guarantee it. Even if they were only six years old back then.

So, I watched the entire game from start to finish, and hey, I'll keep doing it as long as I have the energy. I mean, watching the whole thing really depends on whether it's a day where I'm staying sober or if I'm hanging out with five other idiots like I usually am.

I don't really get why people think you can't watch the ball and be a die-hard fan at the same time. 🤷

Sorry for jumping in here, this doesn't really involve me personally, but I'm not trying to act like a genius—it's just common sense, I guess.

@Peter Robinson21/">@@Peter Robinson21

You’re basically saying you don't care about anyone else and that Dinamo is the only thing that matters, blah blah blah. I mean, everything you said is fine, but it feels like you aren't quite grasping how moving to the North stands implies a choice, right?

If you were going to head West and then push this whole narrative—man, hats off to you. You and everyone else like you. But no, you all keep pushing this story and then there's always that famous "but." Honestly, screw the "buts." Just go West and actually stand behind what you say.

Or, if you haven't considered the theory that moving West might actually cause even more splintering among Dinamo fans, maybe I have another suggestion for you.

Why not just go to the North, separate yourselves from the trash, hold up a sign that says "Mamić out," and then cheer solely and exclusively for Dinamo. You wouldn't even have to mention Mamić or the USSF ever again.

Then, you'd actually be showing THEM that you're against Mamić, even if you're totally fed up with the current state of things and everything tied to it.

As long as you're hanging out in the North with that crowd, your personal stance on Dinamo and Mamić doesn't mean a thing, because nobody knows what you think. I mean, try asking the people up North if they're cool with your anti-Mamić views—since they're supposedly so tolerant of individual opinions—try asking them if you're even allowed to show up with a crossed heart.

Anyone watching from the outside sees you in the North and assumes you're a Mamić loyalist or a sellout, regardless of what you actually believe. It's not like it's written on your forehead (or your fence, anyway) that you're against him.

So, here are two suggestions: once you pick one, then you can start with the "but" talk. Anything else is just beating a dead horse.

To be honest, your whole argument reminds me a bit of gay propaganda—they keep looping back to the "but" and waiting for others to tell them they're normal. Because that's all they care about, not actual rights. I guess they just want to wash away their own dirty consciences using other people's opinions.

Nathan Foster23 said:So if we, say, shout that insult twice during the derby, and then they and the Torcida shout it back at us, does that count as three strikes or is it a whole new round from the start?

Well, since the true Dinamo fans are up in the North, and besides, everyone knows you guys are basically anti-fans, you’re technically counted as the away crowd. So, the math is pretty simple—if we yell or if you yell, once it hits three times total, it’s game over.🙂

That also answers what happens if you try to heckle the USSF officials by calling them "little helpers"—nothing. It just falls under the "anti-fan rule," meaning after the third "response," the match gets called.

In a situation where groups like the Armada and Torcida are trading insults, the "mutual punishment rule" kicks in. Since both sets of fans are in the wrong, the game gets stopped, and the loser is decided based on which stadium they're playing in.

If the game were at Sun Life Stadium, Hajduk would lose, because it makes sense that the home organizer carries more of the blame.

Which implies that if the game were played at Oracle Park, Hajduk would be declared the loser, and the reasons could be anything:

-because the Hajduk fans were louder,
-because they started it first,
-because they accepted the insulting chants,
-because Hajduk, being a traditionally much larger club, has to shoulder more responsibility and set an example,
-because Hajduk doesn't have anyone representing them in the USSF leadership,
-because they get into arguments with the streetlights downtown,
-because America is the land of the free, and in cases of unclear or tied disputes, Americans should have the edge over the Venetians,
-because Rijeka is such a beautiful story that it'd be a shame to ruin it,
-because

At the end of the day, it's perfectly clear that Rijeka FC can't be held responsible, because as the organizer, there's honestly nothing you can do. How is an organizer supposed to stop away fans from chanting?

Honestly, though, things just keep getting funnier every day. I was actually worried when Markan pulled that move regarding Canada, and I couldn't think of a decent replacement. I thought the big bosses might install Vrbanović, but Šuk... man, Šuk is everything!!! I am stating for a fact that out of the 7+ billion people on this planet, there isn't a single soul who would be a more perfect solution. And don't even get me started on us poor 5 million Americans. Because, well, you kind of have to be an American to get it. Šuker is the genius solution: unarticulated, intellectually challenged, greedy, stingy, a sycophant, an egocentric liar... he's just an ideal man for an ideal position in this era. A USSF like this, and a league like this, deserves nothing less than a brand.

It's like Rudolf Hess, Marie Antoinette, Idi Amin, Judas Iscariot, and Arsène Lupin all rolled into one. 🙏🙏🙏

I honestly don't get why the Boys are getting so worked up over this interview with Prle.... Up until now, it's always been kind of a joke, just messing around with lines like "we founded you," but everyone knows that's just banter. It’s pretty obvious they formed on their own and were hanging out long before that name even existed.

And look, Prle was just telling it like it is. He wasn't saying it had anything to do with the matinee or the local bars, just that those guys were there, Ico basically brought them down to the beach, and it was all just part of the story.... No one from the Ultras showed up and said, "Alright, from now on, you're called this and that." 😁

zgblue is making the biggest stink about it, but then he just falls apart because it was super obvious from his first post that he didn't even listen to the actual interview

He doesn't actually have support; he’s only still here because if it weren't for everyone looking the other way, he would've been gone ages ago. I guess our society is just easily led. When you see how certain "die-hard fans" have stuck by him in the stands all these years, even after everything, it makes sense why someone sitting in front of a TV or a computer all day would be totally lost when it comes to his shady business. People read something bad about him and immediately brush it off, saying the media is exaggerating. But then, the second those same journalists report on the fans, suddenly they're right and there's no issue. I still think the bigger problem for this confused nation is the fan culture rather than the big shots like Mamić or any of those other guys who turned our society into a complete circus of fools. It's not a coincidence that clowns like him are everywhere. Just look at Jovanović—good grief, what a joke—and people actually expect him to clean up this mess. All that happened was he told the guy to look in a mirror and spit at his own reflection, and after that, nothing happens. They either stay quiet or wait until just before an election to use him for points. Or maybe they don't even want to get rid of him because they've been told by the higher-ups at places like FIFA or UEFA that they shouldn't interfere in the "legal" operations of the world's most "transparent" and "wealthy" club—to quote the "executive" himself.
