You seriously need to pick up a book too, and I’m talking about back when I was still in high school, I stumbled upon some work by Graham Hancock and I have to admit that amidst all the chaos of his writing, there’s actually quite a bit of sense to be found. It doesn't necessarily have to align perfectly with his exact wording, but let's face it, there are plenty of illogical gaps in our understanding of history. Humanity's development isn't nearly as straightforward as the textbooks make it out to be, at least not in my book.

Look, I’ve got nothing against technology—honestly, I absolutely love it, think it's brilliant and totally necessary. But people shouldn't have to drop dead at work doing god-knows-what kind of grueling physical labor, or even soul-crushing mental grind like accounting. But seeing families lately—which seems to be happening more and more—where everyone at a restaurant is just glued to their phone or tablet? That is pure stupidity and total parental neglect. Or take a group of friends going out today; you see them in person and they can't even hold a conversation because they're just sitting right next to each other tapping away at some third person on a screen. Their priorities are just completely messed up. And don't go thinking I'm only talking about kids, because basically everyone is doing this now, from little toddlers to full-grown adults. I have zero problem with being reachable on your phone, but that should pretty much be reserved for "emergency" situations only. If you and I are hanging out and having a blast, don't pull out that damn phone.

Look, obviously most people spend their time online doing absolutely nothing useful, and honestly?
