I'm really looking forward to this one. Based on the trailer, it looks fantastic, and I have total faith in the Coen duo.
In the States, it should be hitting theaters on February 18th.

I'm honestly so thrilled that Vikander took home the Choice Award 👍

Honestly, I only care about seeing Vikander's performance...

I actually ended up watching it via torrent too, mostly just to see how she stacks up against the other nominees.

Personally, I think Vikander is a fantastic actress, and I’m honestly thrilled to see her finally breaking through.
The first time I saw her was in A Royal Affair, and she was absolutely incredible in that role.

This movie itself isn't great, but she gave it everything she had—that's why I feel she actually outshone Eddie.

As for whether he's overrated, I haven't seen enough of his work to make a final call. However, while he was brilliant last year playing Hawking, his performance in Jupiter Ascending was, frankly, a disaster. I could hardly believe it was the same actor.
In this one, he's just okay.

Vikander totally outshone Redmayne here.🙏

Usually, the two frontrunners for an Oscar end up being the person who won the Golden Globe for Comedy/Musical and the one who took it for Drama.
And more often than not, the winner comes from the drama category.
Take the year when it was Matthew McConaughey and Leonardo DiCaprio, or even last year with Eddie Redmayne and Michael Keaton.

The only upside if Leonardo DiCaprio wins is that people on the internet might finally stop claiming he needs at least five of them—because, let's be real, he's easily one of the best actors ever.🙄

It really is an incredible documentary, though.

I had no idea he wasn't happy with his performance in On the Waterfront 😲
He actually mentioned he could have handled it much better
And looking at some of those weaker films—like Candy—watching this doc makes you realize why he picked them in the first place

I also didn't realize he was such a sensitive guy, just really heartfelt about everything

To be honest, Melissa McCarthy usually gets on my nerves, but she’s actually pretty tolerable here. That said, the absolute highlight of the movie has to be Sylvester Stallone 🤣
He was brilliant, and Rose Byrne was equally fantastic right after him 👍

This could be absolutely stellar—the cast, the director, and the screenwriter are all top-tier 👍
even if Michael Fassbender doesn't look exactly like him 😬 though at the end of the day, the most important thing is that it turns out to be a great movie
