It’s nowhere to be found. Honestly, if you actually go in for a consultation, they'll show you everything right there. They aren't about to just blast photos online—they have to respect patient privacy and all that.🤷
So, I finally talked my dad into calling this contact of his in Los Angeles—someone who actually knows the inner workings of the surgical community—and asked him which surgeon is currently considered top-tier... His verdict? He said Dzepina is the one. I'm just crossing my fingers that everything falls into place once we arrive there. 🙂

I have my doubts that tampons actually have any impact on how someone looks... The price over at Ivo Dzepina's is sitting somewhere between 10 and 15. $0.00... honestly, I just always end up replying to those emails... He’s basically tearing the whole thing apart—stripping it down to the bone. Honestly, though, everything just depends on how that specific case plays out. 😉
When I finally got an email response back, I was honestly just thrilled that he even bothered to reply, let alone provided such a detailed answer 👍 but don't go thinking that guarantees my nose will turn out looking right... maybe it will, maybe it won't. Honestly, you really shouldn't get hung up on what kind of doctor someone is—whether they're charming or prickly, whether they're responsive or not... just look at the work itself. Though, I have to admit, Glusac actually earned some extra points with me because of this! 🙂

Look, I’m no medical expert, but my take is that you could probably go ahead with the surgery right now. Usually, when someone breaks their nose—whether they do it themselves or someone else does it to them—some kind of absolute mess happens, and they pretty much head straight to the operating room immediately. So, honestly, I don't see why there's any point in waiting around, especially since your nose is just going to end up broken eventually anyway...
I’m probably not going to take too much of a gamble here... I finally decided to go see Dr. Glusac for a consultation instead since he's closer to me. Because honestly, imagine this: I drive all the way down to Miami, he shows me the surgical photos, and I'm just sitting there thinking, "Yeah, no... that is definitely not what I'm looking for." 👎 I know everyone's anatomy is different, obviously, but you can pretty much guess the kind of nose he'd try to give you... I've seen some of his work, and Glusac seems to have a tendency toward giving most people these wide tips. So, yeah... I'm feeling a bit hesitant about it.

I had my surgery two months ago. My nose was honestly terrible—wide, bumpy, high, and broken... I absolutely hated it. Now, I finally have the beautiful nose I've always wanted. My profile looks perfect, even though the tip is still a bit swollen. The bone area is still puffy too, but even with the swelling, it's already narrower and better looking than before. He mentioned he had his work cut out for him because of the multiple fractures I had. The procedure was supposed to cost $2,000, which means $4867, but the doctor actually only charged me $1,400 and told me to take the extra $600 and buy something nice to help with my recovery 😍.
I’d warmly recommend Dr. Glusac to anyone out there; if you have any questions at all, I'm more than happy to answer them 👍.
Since this is only my second post on this forum, I know plenty of you are probably going to be skeptical about my story. But look, I'm not here to run an ad campaign or anything; I just genuinely want to help girls who are still hesitating, just like rustygardener172 helped me 🙂.

They claim there's less risk..😕 because the machine does all the heavy lifting for you... who knows how it's actually going to shove that tube in there hahaha :PP
How many of you went under with local anesthesia versus general? I'm genuinely curious because, honestly, you really shouldn't mess around when it comes to general anesthesia...
urbancrane3 said:That was great, Kate Taylor59, thanks so much😍. I’m actually really curious—is it even possible to do a closed reduction on a deviated septum if it hasn't fully shifted after all these months? It’s still clicking, nothing swollen, but I’ll probably just bounce from one specialist to another until someone actually manages to fix it...🙄
Don't mention it🙂. Apparently, Davor Dzepina is top-tier... then there's Tončić—supposedly some issues with anesthesia—and everyone else is an ENT, including Bastaic... they're all based out of Los Angeles, while Glusac is down in Miami😉
urbancrane3 said:Does anyone happen to know a specialist who performs closed reductions for a broken nose? I’ve already consulted two plastic surgeons and one general ENT, but none of them were particularly helpful... Does anyone know of anyone, anywhere in the States?
So, Dr. Dzepina actually got back to my email right away. He mentioned prices are running somewhere between $1,600 and $1,950, consultations are $67, and he’d prefer to see me in person to go over some specific medical questions. I think I'll make the trip; I'm genuinely curious, and the guy is an ENT with a PhD—plus, I've picked up a few solid recommendations for him. All things considered, Los Angeles is much closer to me, so I don't really have any reason to trek all the way to Miami just to end up disappointed after looking at the photos...
Hmm, I have to say, these noses from Dr. Klapan look pretty good to me... does anyone know where he's practicing? Has anyone here actually dealt with him before?
Kate Lee43 said:Regarding the anesthesia situation—look, they do it that way because it’s the cheaper route. That's why it's only costing $0.00. Honestly, if you actually like his work, just offer to pay extra for general anesthesia. If you want quality, Dr. Ivo Dzepina over at the Glumicic clinic is phenomenal; if you have the drive, go straight to him and ask for him specifically. He handles revisions, too—the man’s been a master at this for thirty years. Dr. Klapan is also top-tier. And don't think he's the only surgeon in Los Angeles besides Toncic; clearly, he's just using those low prices to lure people in. Not that I'm biased, per se, but let's be real: none of Bagatin's noses are worth mentioning, and neither is Ostojic.
I'll have to think about it... I'm honestly terrified of how this is all going to turn out. I've got circulation issues, occasional heart palpitations, low blood pressure... 👎😂
rustygardener172 said:Kate Taylor59, how can you actually be certain the senior surgeon is the one operating on you instead of some junior resident? Just because they told you so?! What do you really know about who’s holding the scalpel once you're under anesthesia? Even his son needs someone to practice on eventually... right? 😍
Honestly, I actually dig Glusac's whole "I'm the best" attitude. It's exactly why he's the one picking up the clinic phone, calling people back on his cell, handling all the emails, and doing the actual surgeries himself... 😂
And it's true... 🤷 I haven't heard anyone specifically complaining about Toncic... well, maybe something regarding the anesthesia... 😕 It's a fact that the man has twice the clinical experience of Dr. Glusac... but then again... that doesn't necessarily prove anything...
