408 Request Time-out Error in Forum Help! ·
Almost everything I try to open triggers this error: 408 Request Time-out

It looks like the browser failed to complete the request within the allotted timeframe. WHY is this happening?

Yesterday was an absolute wash. I couldn't get anything to load—nothing at all. Every single attempt ended with the exact same error: Gateway Time-out The.
The server failed to respond within the expected timeframe. I have a nagging suspicion that this is becoming a recurring issue. Why exactly is this happening?

It’s frankly bizarre that none of the people in charge are offering any actual explanations, and frankly, who knows if anyone is even attempting to handle this the way they should be.

Robert Evans, I click through, head over to the store, then come right back, and the forum still hasn't loaded. This isn't normal behavior. Get this fixed once and for all. Also, your servers have been acting completely haywire today—I'm constantly hitting 503 and 504 errors.

The truth is, things are moving slow today and just falling apart.

504 Gateway Time-out
The server failed to provide a response within the allotted timeframe.
Both of these instances are nothing more than blatant copy-paste jobs, and they happen several times a day.

502 bad Gateway The
The server sent back a response that was either broken or totally incomplete.
And there it is—another 503 error today.
I managed to get two replies out, but just as I was getting ready to post the third one, I hit a wall: 503 Service Unavailable. It just keeps looping and won't let me proceed, no matter what I try.

Alright, I just took a look and I see what you mean. Honestly, I don't even have the N bar on my Apple device. Let me try zooming the page out to 75%... yeah, I see it now.😂Actually, once I hit 50% zoom, the bottom right corner starts looking distorted. Typical Apple design, I guess.

It’s frankly strange that none of the authorities have bothered to respond or even offer a comment regarding these objections.

They can take their baggage and shove it; they’re just pushing their own agenda and obsessing over flashy commercials.
Alright, thanks. I’ll look into what’s going on on my end. I'm currently using Internet Explorer, so I'll follow those instructions you sent over and see how it goes. Much appreciated, Jessica Nelson4👍

Which browser are you even running? Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, or Chrome? Try switching it up. Clear your cache, hit refresh.

Before you start hunting for a technical fix, you actually need to provide some basic information about your setup. 👍

Speaking from experience, 99.9999% of the time, the issue is on your end. No insult meant.

Fine, let's call everyone in quotes "geniuses," since apparently we aren't all tech experts.
Not everyone is a computer whiz, regardless of age, which is why it comes across that way. I assumed that if my characters weren't scrambling on four other forums—but they are here—that maybe it was an issue with the site or the settings. It doesn't happen every single time, either. And while there were login issues earlier, I'm not necessarily blaming those. Other people had trouble logging in too, so suddenly everyone is a "genius."
Look, if I’m not running into character encoding issues on other subreddits, then there’s a fundamental flaw in your logic. You’re acting like everything is perfectly fine here and that your side is somehow immune to bugs or errors.

I even ran into this response elsewhere: "We'll look into it, and if the issue is on our end, we'll fix it; otherwise, check your own hardware. Just stay on this platform if you want things to work."
🙂Haha, apparently you aren't even allowed to mention having a problem anymore. You all act like everything is absolutely perfect. If that's the case, why even keep this section of the forum active? I might as well just go ahead and finish what I started...🤮
So, why on earth does my typing get all jumbled up? The letters just start scrambling themselves and lose all sense of order—for example, I’m literally typing this right now just to see how much of a mess it makes of things. On top of that, the cursor keeps blinking erratically. This keeps happening specifically on this Reddit thread, though it isn't constant. Some days it works perfectly fine. When I'm trying to type
it feels like I have to hit a key and then actually wait a beat before I can input the next one._ Why is this even happening?
I’m having a hell of a time even getting this page to load properly, and when I actually manage to type, the characters just scramble everywhere. Everything else on the web works perfectly fine. I can already hear the excuses—people will probably try to claim my computer is malfunctioning. If it were broken, how would every other forum be running smoothly? To make matters worse, scrolling through threads feels like an eternity; it takes a good three minutes just to pull up the next page. This is ridiculous.
