I am here. ☕

What you’re getting at is basically saying it’s all the wall's fault—that the wall caused Ricciardo's gearbox issues and breakdowns—instead of just facing the fact that Ricciardo went off track and slammed right into it...
So yeah, clearly the wall is the main culprit here and everything else is just a side note...
And if there wasn't a wall, everything would be just peachy.😍

Good grief, how did that wall even dare to be positioned there? 🤣
Flip it, turn it—he ended up looking just like Zonta in that duel.

Exactly. 🤣

NASCAR cars hitting high G-forces in Los Angeles

Let that "pussy" journalist sit in one of those cars for once. I’d love to see how long he lasts before he breaks.
stormybadger8 said:Long story short, this just proves online journalists can be absolute morons sometimes...
Look, Pascal isn't some egomaniac who thinks he has to drive at any cost, nor is he the type to just ignore everyone and do whatever he wants, but by making that move, he showed he's the kind of team player you rarely see...
It wouldn't have even surprised me if this move cemented his future spot at Bear, though sadly, probably just as a No. 2 driver...

By doing this, Pascal is actually giving Mass a huge compliment...
He's the kind of driver who would die for the team if needed, rather than just being driven by his own ego...

Pascal clearly realizes that Sauber really only has one shot at a good result this season, and that's the Australian Grand Prix, which is traditionally a graveyard for DNFs. If what he told Ted is true—that he was so exhausted after practice he knew he wouldn't finish the race—then it was actually a move worthy of praise from the team's perspective...
It's not even impossible that the team pressured him into it, if they also saw after practice that he simply wasn't physically ready for the race...

Anyway, if Giovinazzi somehow manages to score points tomorrow, it's not out of the question that he effectively handed the kid a spot on the grid—and with better odds of keeping it than some other kid whose dad has a few hundred million in the bank. 😁

👍👍👍

neonfox65, there is no way this could happen to Alonso. Honestly, don't you think it’s about time he made his comeback? ☕

Put the app on your phone and watch. There is no excuse. 😁
stormybadger8 said:From what I can see, Ricciardo's Red Bull is easily the slowest one out there...
I mean, a car pinned against the wall is obviously slower than everyone else—it's even slower than Palmer. 🙂

It’ll be interesting to see if Ricciardo can even manage to finish ahead of Hulk by the end of the race...

Liked! 🤣

mellowtiger83 said:As far as I can tell, Prost is actually a Lewis Hamilton fan.

Yes, he is. But, if memory serves, he's a Ferrari fan at heart.
mellowtiger83 said:Let's go Vettel, let's go, absolutely tear up those streets in Los Angeles with that Ferrari.

Show Lewis Hamilton how an F1 car is actually driven.

I want a 1990 remake of when Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost were battling it out in those lightning-fast cars right up until the final race of the season.

Vettel will even force Prost to make a comeback. 😁
Mladen Jergović - again!? in Formula 1 ·
The man who lives for the race...
“Five or six years ago, while Mladen and I were running Formula 1, I sat down for a major interview with Bernie Ecclestone at the Esplanade. Out of pure politeness, I mentioned
– 'Mladen sends his regards.'
Bernie just stared at me, confused
– 'Mladen?'
– 'Jergović, he used to work for you.'
– 'Oh, that Mladen. What is that clown up to these days?'
– 'He’s with us now, on TV, acting as a special Formula 1 analyst.'
– 'An F1 analyst??? You guys must be getting desperate.'

He just waved me off and muttered, 'It's always nothing but trouble with Mladen.'

Or maybe just 500 bucks. 😁
Sure, Hamilton should have braked. While certain others in identical situations are hailed as "racers."

Yes, but he was too late.

A mistake.

Lujo already had his chance when he managed to get at least his front wing alongside Rosberg, on the track. There is no more closing the door. If Rosberg hadn't been late, or if Lujo hadn't been given the space to put his front wing on the track beside Rosberg, then Lujo would be solely to blame. In that case, Lujo would have hit Rosberg from behind or started overtaking him with the worst part of the car off the track.

Lujo doesn't care about Rosberg's problems.

We don't know that.

The only explanation. Fiddling with the steering wheel leads to lost concentration.

Some might say he did exactly what he did in Belgium.
