People, is this actually possible? Such optimism.

It's somewhat frightening. 🤣

Furthermore, Vettel dealt with an ICE issue, which I believe has persisted through six races now.

But no, Bottas, PLEASE HELP!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Roger Wright94 said:Lewis Hamilton is acting childishly. As if he wants to sit on multiple chairs at once.
He simply doesn't look fully committed to the job he's doing.

Let’s clarify this using an analogy from basketball.

LeBron James.

LeBron James wants to be LeBron James, the coach, and the GM. All at once.

Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton wants to be Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff, and Charlie Whiting. All at once.

rustyridge10 said:Perhaps Lewis Hamilton was actually the one who made contact with Sebastian Vettel. But he’s such a beast behind the wheel that we all somehow convinced ourselves it was Vettel charging at him instead? 🤷

The onboard footage didn't even show him shifting into reverse. Was anyone actually watching?

Something else was visible. Something red. Care to guess what?

Oh, please.

You seem to be getting more pathetic by the day.

One must establish a clear distinction: is this a calculated maneuver, or merely an emotional outburst?

I wouldn't expect anything else from him. That’s just his character; he’ll keep pulling this nonsense.

Hey Valtteri Bottas, slow him down! 🤣

And don't even get me started on that mess in Dubai, where he intentionally drove slow just to leapfrog Nico Rosberg.

Then we act surprised when he hits the brakes? Look at him—he’s already exiting the corner and still pinning the brake.

The man simply loves being slow.

Honestly, he belongs in some local tractor pull; he could cruise at 31 miles/h there, whatever speed his heart desires.

I can only hope justice prevails and someone else finally takes the championship.

I already posted this.

The struggle continues.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

God, what a driver. 🙏🙏🙏

Kimi had the advantage, sure, but the curb caught Valtteri Bottas off guard.

No. He absolutely deserved a penalty, perhaps a "drive-through."

mellowtiger83 said:Look, my friend, whoever caused it doesn't matter. Even if Hamilton took a penalty, hmm, what then? Telemetry showed he wasn't at fault.

If you can't see the red clearly under the "brake" section, we could just attribute that to Pil's "healthy eyes".

It is quite telling how you have framed this now.

Specifically, there were mentions of how today's drivers are all girls. If I recall correctly, at the start of the season, even Pascal Wehrlein was called a girl because of his injury. To which I added that drivers in today's cars endure over 8Gs. But no, you and DG are still pushing the narrative that it is all nothing.

And just today, Hamilton acted exactly like that much-desired girl. Just like a real teenage girl, looking on from the side with a spiteful, petty gaze after she intentionally enticed two guys to "fight" over "her."

To be blunt, the driver behind will be the one at fault regardless.

You asked for a girl; you got one. 🙂

mellowtiger83 said:Consequences are the issue!! It is normal for you to think it is fine for a driver to drift sideways into another car and intentionally slam into them—bravo, friend.

Where did I ever write that?

I absolutely support any penalty for Sebastian Vettel to cool his head. However, I also fully understand his reaction, which again, does not mean he is in the wrong.

And lo and behold, Vettel is not a girl.

But he fell for it—that moment when a fool brings you down to their level and beats you at your own game. Then again, sometimes even a fool messes up.

mellowtiger83 said:I know what the cause and consequence are. Many times last year, I stood by Vettel and defended him, but what he did here is a total lapse in judgment. If NASCAR pardoned him for some reason known only to them—because the penalty is a joke—I expect him to at least apologize, sit down, and have a talk with Hamilton.

Vettel has nothing to apologize for, because Hamilton will wake up tomorrow still thinking he did nothing wrong.

But I agree they should talk and (somewhat) bury the hatchet.

He should consider himself lucky he didn't run into him. Otherwise, that little trinket of hers would have likely ended up on the other side of his nose, just to ensure both sides were perfectly even. And all for free.

nimblesurfer17 said:I don't see the issue. 🤔

He was slow enough already to clear the corner easily.

But no, he insists on braking like he's at Monaco, doing it at barely 31 miles/h, instead of a track where you can cruise at 218 miles/h right after that turn!

James Harris34 said:Here is proof that Vettel salo simply isn't paying attention during restarts. Even in standard American traffic laws, the driver behind is always held responsible.

frozenheron7 said:He didn't brake; the telemetry proves it. It’s obvious: Vettel salo intentionally wrecked the car in front of him. And while under the safety car, no less.

That is easily the worst part of all.

mellowtiger83 said:To be blunt, I couldn't care less about their first contact or whatever consequences might follow. Why should anyone?

That is precisely your issue. You are willfully ignoring cause and effect.

That's right, I'm the boss and you're just following orders.

What a pathetic mess. 🤣

Check the onboard footage. The lights flash red for a fraction of a second right after that sudden deceleration.

There he goes, slamming on the brakes, right on Sky. 🙂

Lewis Hamilton has no right to pit.

Honestly, both should get a black flag and just clear out.
