Before I even sat down to watch the movie, my buddy warned me it was going to be a total disaster. But honestly, just like you guys were saying, it’s way more of a horror comedy than an actual horror movie🙄
I was watching it on an old DivX file and the beginning was totally cut off, so I'm not sure if that part even exists in the full version. If it does, does anyone know where I can find a decent download online?
northernheron9 said:A buddy of mine told me this movie is total garbage. He’s all like, "There’s this woman who suddenly learns how to fight with a sword like her dad was some legendary samurai," and she pulls this off just a month after learning how to use a longsword? At the start of the movie, she can barely move her thumb, then suddenly she's slaughtering an entire room of samurai like they're freaking ragdolls. There's zero logic to it...
When I heard that, I was like, man, this movie is one big massive exaggeration! (Giving some exceptions, obviously)
Look, Tarantino is a solid director, but he really needs to get back to his roots—stuff like 'From Dusk Till Dawn' or Pulp Fiction. Actually... maybe he just needs a smaller budget!
Do me a favor and tell your friend to watch the movie again, but actually pay attention to the timeline. She didn't just magically master swordsmanship in a month; she had been practicing during that whole period.
Anyone checked this movie out yet? I just finished it and, honestly, I wasn't exactly blown away. Probably because I haven't seen the original series or that other one🙄 mostly involving Freddy and Jason. For those who have actually seen it, can someone explain how Jason died if that typical lady told him he couldn't die? Does it have anything to do with that lake?

It’s kind of like how *The Matrix Reloaded* and its sequel felt—sort of parallel to that.
I caught the trailer for that movie and I am definitely going to check it out... but seriously... is it actually playing in theaters yet, or did you just rip it off Netflix or something?
Man, that movie was just straight-up boring as hell!!!👎 😠 I couldn't even make it to the credits without checking out, so honestly, I have no clue what the full plot was even about... pathetic, I know... 🙄 🙄

😂heheh, one of these days....🙂 😁 😁
BTW. Ladies and gentlemen - I finally watched the movie. I won't say if it was any good because I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone, but overall, it's pretty decent.👍
silentcobra6 said:I caught the trailer in the theater right before The Matrix Revolutions, and man, this thing looks like it’s going to be incredible... I am seriously counting down the days. It's gonna be killer. Honestly, Quentin Tarantino doesn't seem to know how to make a bad movie, and when you factor in the katana, the blood, and Uma Thurman... just WOW!
Personally, the trailer gives off some pretty naive vibes to me... but then again, that's just a trailer;
I’m starting to get this nagging feeling that *The Matrix* was never actually meant to be a trilogy... I mean, look at Neo’s big speech at the end of the first movie, and then consider how much absolute nonsense happened between the first and second films, only for them to rush the third one out in less than six months... Honestly, the whole thing feels off. It’s pretty obvious they just wanted to milk the franchise for every last cent they could grab.😢
Honestly, I think everyone just went in with sky-high expectations, and that’s exactly why they walked away feeling let down... it was just your run-of-the-mill flick, nothing special.
So, who’s your absolute favorite character and what’s the best scene in the movie? For me, Smith is a total LEGEND!!! 😂 That final scene where he’s just like, "Wait, I know this... I'm standing here supposed to say something... but I can't remember a single damn thing" 😂😂
James Cruz6 : I gotta be honest, I wasn't exactly blown away, though I wasn't exactly holding my breath for greatness either... all things considered, I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5. There were moments during that fight scene in the documentary where I was just sitting there thinking, "Man, this is dragging." It got pretty tedious.
For me, the only part that actually dragged was when Trin dies... like, seriously, just die already so we can move on with our lives. 😠 But other than that? The movie was absolute FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!
