So, I picked up some whey protein from Pronutrition (those guys out in California, if I’m remembering the name right)... Basically, this stuff is a nightmare to mix. It just refuses to dissolve in water, leaving me with these tiny little clumps that I have to manually smash with a spoon 🙂 Why does it do that? Is my whey expired or something? (I already tossed the original bag, so I can't check the date, but damn, I only ordered it back in June...)
So, about a month ago, my blood work came back showing high red blood cell counts and elevated hemoglobin levels... I decided to take a break from hitting the gym for a month and cut out all the whey protein from my diet—everything else stayed pretty much the same—and I finally got my latest labs back yesterday, and everything looks totally normal now...
I'm curious, though—what actually causes those numbers to spike like that? And honestly, if they had stayed high, would there have been any actual reason to freak out?

Shipping is free if you spend more than $333, otherwise it's between $30 and $17.
oh, and one more thing... if you sign up for a membership and order over 7kg, then it's just $45/kg
Is a combo of whey, water, and oats okay for after my morning cardio session—just skipping the glucose this time? I'm asking about general morning setups here (not talking about my NW PWM routine)—should I be hitting it with glucose or keeping it simple?
Swearing at the waves or actually diving in? I'm guessing you're more the "diving in" type, but if you're just shouting at the ocean, go check out www.submania.com
I've got some Geocell sitting around at home, would that actually help? I think it's meant for skin stuff, but I'm definitely not about to just smear it all over my face on a whim. If not, I guess I'll just go with one of those other options mentioned above...
Alright, thanks, I'll give that a shot... Do you honestly think it’s infected? Like, looking at it, there isn't anything obvious going on—it’s just a little red and that's about it.😕
I don't even know what happened, but a few days ago I went absolutely feral scratching at my leg, and now it’s just this constant, annoying cycle of stinging and itching all at once... it’s driving me crazy, I can barely even get any sleep at night. Anyone got a solid recommendation for a cream or something I can slather on to make this stop? I haven't had any issues before either, I did everything by the book 😵
I’m writing this in English because I honestly have no clue how to phrase this in American—I'm still getting my bearings here. But anyway, I think you guys know what I'm talking about... some kind of cream containing Benzoyl peroxide. So, where can I actually pick that up in New York City? Is it something I grab at a pharmacy or just a regular drugstore? I haven't been in the area long, so I'm still figuring out how everything works.🙂 Roughly how much am I looking at paying? Thanks!
I haven't scrolled through this entire thread yet—and honestly, maybe someone already covered this, so bear with me if I'm repeating myself... but is Gatorade actually any good when you look at all those ingredients they say we need to hit our daily requirements?
So, I swapped out my graphics card and everything seems fine now, but there's a catch—this card is just a loaner. I really need to figure out what's going on with my actual GPU so I can get back to my own setup, but honestly, I'm stuck. I don't even know where to start troubleshooting... I don't even know what the actual issue is... My monitor settings and everything else look perfectly normal Any bright ideas?
Alright, listen up folks! 🙂 So, I just swapped out my graphics card, and everything is running smooth now, which pretty much confirms the old one was the culprit... I'm trying to wrap my head around what actually went wrong and how to fix it... I'm open to any and all theories—overheating, bad capacitors, whatever... With this new card, everything is golden; movies look great, it breezes through every DirectX benchmark, you name it... until I try to actually play a game. That’s when the whole thing goes to hell... C'mon, hit me with some ideas!!
Sensor 3 was sitting pretty at around 68 °F, but then out of nowhere it jumps to 162 °F. Now Sensor 4 is throwing high-temp warnings too, also hitting 162 °F.
I have zero clue what Sensors 3 and 4 are actually tracking. GPU? RAM? Maybe that's the smoking gun right here... Any idea how I can figure out what those sensors are measuring?
PS I'm running a Gigabyte on 7 N400L motherboard.
Games: I tried running Broken Sword II, Serious Sam 2 (which gave me a real scare 🙂), and even The Sims 2 (my sister tried playing it), and the result is always the same—as soon as I launch them, the monitor just goes black. The screen stays powered on, but the indicator light kicks in and you hear that classic "shutdown" sound, so I'm guessing it's losing the signal from the graphics card. Then pretty soon, the whole PC just dies. 😢
