Betty Allen15, a huge welcome from me too! 🙂

As for me, I’m actually thrilled with the results of the treatment I put together myself. I based it on some stuff I tried last winter that just didn't work, but this summer has been a total game-changer. Since it involves corticosteroids, I won't go into all the details here. For now, I'm just sticking to Aveeno thermal water and a basic moisturizer, and I'm hoping my upcoming trip to the coast for some sun will help lock in these results for a while.
Best to everyone,

How can I get the ambulance number for the photo shoot? Nobody at the Salat headquarters has been picking up my calls for days now.
Chris Morgan67, do you happen to have the number?

Chris Morgan67 said:She’s this young doctor. Honestly, she’s useless😂 unless you really need a lamp—so just insist on that.

Pašić is still practicing if you care about that.😁

If you want a solid private dermatologist, I can DM you their number.

Just shoot me a message. Thanks! 🙂

Well, that’s fantastic news for the organization! 🙏
Which doctor did you see for your checkup?

Chris Morgan67, tell me, how bad is the traffic over at Salisbury? I'm thinking about heading down there to soak up some of those taxpayer dollars. 😉

I went to the Salad clinic, though I didn't see Dr. Smith. I've visited her a few times when my regular doctor was out, and they ran some tests on me, but I can't remember what for. Everything came back fine, so I just moved on.
Hannah, nobody at the Salad clinic is going to recommend Petroleum; that's basically a rival hospital.
My condition has definitely taken a turn for the worse with spring hitting. The skin is peeling and the itching is driving me absolutely insane. It’s like everything just suddenly bloomed, if you can even use that word for this disease. I seriously can't wait to get over to Petroleum.

Chris Morgan67 said:Who's heading up to the Bioptron for some salad treatment right now? How's the crowd looking up there—is it packed? 🥳

A coworker told me things are getting super hectic there, which is more than enough reason for me to stay put. Besides, I'm waiting on my appointment for Naphtha, so I'll be skipping the salad this year anyway.

Hey everyone! 🙂

Hey Švrćo, I also developed psoriasis right after my pregnancy. But since you've been dealing with this way longer than I have, I wanted to ask: since '91, have you ever had a period where it was completely gone? Like, not even a single spot?

I'm just a woman dealing with skin issues, and I shave my legs using an electric shaver. I totally ignore the psoriasis and just run the shaver right over it—don't judge me too hard, mine doesn't look nearly as bad as some of the cases you guys post, at least not yet.🙄 Every single time I do that, the flare-up recedes for about two or three weeks.😕 It happens every single time, and I've noticed this pattern for a year now. Is there a logical explanation for this, or am I just losing my mind trying to get rid of it?

Now that you mention it, I didn't want to say anything because it sounds totally crazy, but I've actually noticed my psoriasis looks way better after shaving too. It doesn't make it disappear, but it definitely looks better.🤷 Looks like we're in the same boat!🙂

I’ve been catching up on the latest updates here. While some people are out there trying to fix things with vitamins and supplements, I decided to take a much more extreme route: total starvation mode. Let's see where this goes. So far, here is the situation: I've been on a radical diet for a week now. No fats allowed except for a tiny drop of olive oil. No bread, no sweets, no carbs—just fruit, veggies, poultry, and white fish. (I did treat myself to some sushi for lunch yesterday, though. Yum!) I’m already seeing huge improvements in my skin :up. The scaling is gone, the affected areas have lightened up significantly, and some of the larger patches are actually breaking up into smaller ones. I’m putting all my faith in this; I'm hoping that if I stick to this diet for a month, things will get even better. I am starving and it’s getting hard 🙄, but I am fully committed to seeing this project through.

Sorry to dump this on you all, but I didn't have the energy to catch up on everything I missed while I was offline. I apologize if I'm bringing up a cream you guys already know by heart. I first discovered it in Rome, and it was a total lifesaver.

It usually costs about $27 for a 30g tube and you can find it in basically any pharmacy in Rome. I'm not sure what the availability is like back home in the States, but once I get back and finish what I brought with me, I’ll start looking for local alternatives.

Thanks a million, see ya!

Can anyone give me some more specific details about this cream?

Try starting with 2 mg before you hit the sack. If you haven't used stuff like this before, 2 mg might actually be plenty for you. For me, even 2 mg keeps me wide awake at night and carries me right through the next morning.

I signed up for a three-week therapy session using Vaseline back in May. My goal is to get my legs in shape before then—getting rid of the scaling so it's just red skin, ideally through natural means, to make their treatments actually work. This is my first time going, and I have really high hopes. 😉
In the meantime, I'm battling this itching, which is honestly way more infuriating than how everything looks. Oh well. I just keep telling myself I'm lucky I didn't deal with this annoying condition until after I turned 35. 😉

Lawrence Ramirez3 said:If an ointment isn't working, you'll know after about 10 or 15 days. Don't waste your time—just stop using it. It's summer, and I'm struggling too... the heat, the sweat, having to wear long sleeves... it sucks.
My shirts and sheets are bloody too because I itch so much... honestly, I don't even know where to start scratching first😁. I feel like I should be walking around my apartment with a vacuum cleaner every single day just to suck up all the skin flakes... there's enough material there to export to other countries😁, but I don't bother. Ariel handles the laundry, I grab the vacuum, try not to scratch as much, and sometimes take an antihistamine when I really can't help it. That's just life for us artists... 😳 it’s like that old joke about the Scots where the father tells his son: "Shut up and keep swimming."

Which pill are you taking for the itching? Neither Telfast nor that other damn thing (I can't remember the name, the one for allergies) helped ease the itch at all.

Quick question for the Vaseline fans here 😁: how long and how often should I be applying Vaseline to these flaky patches if I want to get rid of the scales and just leave the redness?
Also, should I be mixing it with a nourishing or neutral moisturizer, or just stick to plain old Vaseline?

Mark Fox44 said:Try using "Psorex" ointment from El Paso. If you have darker hair, you won't even notice it because the color is this weird olive-brown shade! If you're blonde😉, just dye your hair darker; you'll definitely get your scalp under control in a couple of weeks. You apply it once a day—it smells pretty bad, but it’s the only thing that actually cleared my dandruff for good without needing steroids.
You can find it in Washington, D.C., and it costs $57 (in El Paso, it's $40/ 19 miles). Since you aren't supposed to expose it to sunlight, now is the perfect time to use it.
By the way, I went through two packs of Lush, but didn't see much of an effect. It helped soothe the itching a bit, but St. John's Wort oil works better for me and is easier to apply. As for the patches, little spots of clear skin without redness occasionally pop up on my torso and legs where the irritation was. 👍

Mark Fox44, it's obvious you don't know anything about hair dye😉 Honestly, the worst advice you could give someone with an irritated scalp is to go and slap hair dye on top of open wounds.😁

I love this stuff. It completely calmed my scalp down and all my sores are finally gone. The shampoo is called Squafane and you can grab it at any pharmacy. It’s specifically made to get rid of dandruff.

I’m reporting that after a month and a half of religiously using Lush cream (following Chris Morgan67's advice), the patches on my forearms have almost completely cleared up. I was applying it several times a day—basically whenever it popped into my head—and the results are huge. 🙏It’s not perfect yet, but man, it feels amazing.
I haven't used it on my legs because the situation there is way worse and I'm using stronger stuff, but my arms look fantastic.
Thanks, Chris Morgan67! 🙂
I'm on this diet right now based on a meal plan from a famous doctor. He insists you drink a glass of water first thing every morning and hit at least two liters of fluids throughout the day.

I’m a nickel allergy victim myself. Because of that, I stick strictly to gold or white gold. I can also pull off wooden beads or similar materials that I know for sure are nickel-free. My earrings absolutely have to have white gold posts.
