Why not? There isn't much competition out there when you're dealing with a network that spread that thin (I'm pretty sure they've got agents tucked away in basically every corner of the US)...

Nah, it’s got nothing to do with the post office. You just scan the bills at home and pay them right then and there. Obviously, you need to have enough funds sitting in your Aircash account first (which means topping it up beforehand via card, cash, or a bank transfer).

Yeah, true, but the real question is whether you can even use a Swiss ID. Maybe they don't ship there because they're worried some Swiss person will place an order and then realize they can't actually activate it...

And the real question is, can you even register at all if you're just using Swiss documents and/or a phone number...

They probably don't have the right licenses to operate in Switzerland, which is likely why. They're stuck with just the European Union...
