All the info you need is right there in the app. The routing number is the same for everyone, but everyone gets their own unique reference number. Just a heads-up though, if someone's trying to wire money from overseas, they probably won't even see a spot to enter that reference number—that's just a local thing we do here (plus, international wire fees are a total rip-off, so I'm not sure it'd even be worth the hassle)...
I think you can just scan a QR code, but only at places that actually support it—kind of like how PayPal works. Honestly, I don't think many shops have set that up yet... probably pretty rare. If you’re trying to buy something from just any random merchant, you're gonna need a card.
It says if you get the transfer in by 3:00 PM, it hits on the next business day. So, if you sent it yesterday before the cutoff, it should've cleared today. If you missed that 3:00 PM window, you're probably looking at Monday...
The app lists a bunch of account numbers and some phone numbers you can call to make a payment. But honestly, that’s clearly meant for your own transfers... I’m not even sure if they actually track who’s sending the money (from what I hear, they don't)
So, I just picked up a new laptop running Windows 11 and signed in with my usual Google account, and the system immediately started nudging me to migrate everything from my old Windows 10 machine. I decided to pass on the whole thing, so now I’m sitting here wondering exactly what kind of data would've actually moved over in the first place...
You think I actually activated contactless? I tried setting it up by checking my balance at an ATM. Or, well, I think I did... I haven't actually tested it yet, but that notification in the app finally disappeared.
Look, he’s gotta reach out to them directly. It’s either they cut him a check or they get his info so they can just wire the money straight to his Venmo...
Kevin Morris12 said:My card actually arrived today! I put the order in 13 days ago. It’s incredibly easy to activate, and I was able to grab that 2x bonus immediately.$17 👍 The card shows up right away in both the DraftKings app and Venmo. Interestingly, the initial card numbers are exactly the same as a standard Venmo Mastercard.
