Kimi, man, you're just kidding me right now 🎉
man, what a total disaster 🍿
edit: alright, hopefully that didn't sting too much 🤣🤣😢
Here’s that BBC clip showing Turn 4—exactly what I was talking about earlier.

Nancy Scott5 said:I'm honestly surprised Ricciardo hasn't let Webber past yet.
I guess now that he's moving on, Toro Rosso isn't going to give him any more preferential treatment on track.
They always knew they could just barge right into him—you've clearly got your wires crossed, 😁😁
Alonso Grosjean pulls ahead of Mark Webber 🍿
edit: Never mind, folks—that just changed 🍿

Reuters' Formula 1 correspondent Alan Baldwin: I just spotted Nico Rosberg sprinting through the paddock—TV crews hot on his heels—right after he finished up with the stewards. Interestingly enough, he actually had a smile on his face.
So, you dodged the penalty after all.😢😁

BREAKING NEWS: Nico Rosberg managed to walk away with nothing more than a reprimand for speeding under Yellow Flags. His race win remains intact.
oh man 🙏 nice job Mark 🙏🙏🙏

10 overtakes 🙏, 3 world champions 🙏, and some (kimi and button) actually caught a double dose of the maestro's magic 🙏
P.S. I probably messed up the list... 🤣 forgive me, maestro, if I accidentally skipped an overtake, but you gotta realize mistakes happen when there are just this many passes to count...
man, Mark Webber just let him off the hook because he didn't want to throw hands with anyone 😍

A quick debrief from Mark Webber following his stellar P2 finish during his swan song at the British Grand Prix.
"Today was a complete whirlwind. We started out with that collision involving Romain Grosjean—it left the wing looking pretty rough. Thankfully, the crew absolutely nailed the repair before we even hit the track. Once we were running, I found myself crossing my fingers for a safety car, but honestly, the timing felt off. It was Russian Roulette. Still, I managed to play the hand we were dealt; the strategy was top-tier, and for a moment, I looked over and thought, 'Well, there’s Nico, sitting in the last available spot.' I would have loved a few extra laps to stretch things out, but that’s just how the luck falls in this sport. We easily could have ended up right here without a single puncture, staring at an empty podium instead of a trophy.
😍 😍 😍
🤣🤣🤣
Man, what an absolutely incredible race today—it really keeps you on the edge of your seat. I’m already counting down the days until Sunday. 🙂
Jason Campbell70 said:Yeah, just like I said.

but you can't really tell from this angle
they were practically right on top of him with the camera while Gary was pointing it out—it's very possible that actually killed the tires. Try doing that yourself later and see if you get the same view.
Elizabeth Mendoza said:Everyone was getting sliced up by Kimi. There's nothing left to watch there. 🤷Jenson Button didn't pit, so he didn't have a shot. He actually pulled off some insane defensive moves a couple of times too...
Look, you could make a case for defending it here too—I’m telling you, go back and watch that footage again.
Mark was being fair—and honestly, that’s about all he could manage before he ended up driving himself straight into a wall. 😁
Elizabeth Mendoza said:Nobody is even talking about di Resta. Covo started from the very back and fought his way up to ninth place. It would have been a different story if he hadn't been penalized. He might have even snagged a podium spot
I just realized that Mark was actually the fastest on that final lap 🙂

BBC F1 technical expert Gary Anderson headed out to Turn 4 at the Silverstone Circuit—the exact spot where all those tire issues popped up during the weekend. Here’s the breakdown of his findings...
Gary Anderson: "Everyone's been talking about Turn 4 all day, so we decided to get eyes on the ground to figure out what's actually causing these punctures. If you look at the section just inside the kerb, it looks green—almost like it’s meant to blend in with the grass—but it’s actually solid concrete. When the cars clip this part, the sidewall of the tire might be catching on a sharp edge of the kerb; it sits right at the same height where we saw those tires getting sliced and shredded."
