Samuel Ruiz4 said:Kimi 'will race whatever happens'

"I would race. The issues don't always stem from the tires alone. There are plenty of variables that could cause this—we didn't deal with a single issue all year, so I don't feel like it's going to be dangerous. It's dangerous regardless; anything can happen, and I suspect the reason those blew was simply because the teams weren't managing them correctly."

The man is a total legend—zero fear, he'll just get in there and drive.

Kimi, take my advice 😳

F1 technical analyst Gary Anderson
"The field is incredibly tight right now. Success in qualifying is going to come down to which driver manages to find grip and heat those tires effectively through Turns 1, 2, and 3."

this little brat is driving me insane 🙄😢

but honestly, Mark seems like the most cost-effective option they've got—watch out 🙂

they definitely improved, yeah—it's about time we actually had some respectable competition 😁

ps. where's Lujo at these days btw 🙂

It’s just the universe recalibrating itself—call it whatever you want, I haven't got a clue 😁

(though it would be a hell of a twist if Mark finally breaks through the noise and grabs a headline like 😍 "Luxury duo Nico and Mark are unstoppable"—let them celebrate those qualifying sessions if they want 😍)

Fernando is pissed off, causing a whole scene in the garage ☕ one less headache, the GOAT ☕

Speaking from At the Nurburgring, BBC Sport’s lead F1 expert Andrew Benson reports:
"For Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, the concerns go way beyond just wondering if the car will play nice with the new tire compounds. Even though he managed to snag third place at Silverstone Last weekend , and made up ground on Sebastian Vettel in The championship , after The German's red Bull retired with gearbox failure, it was easily Ferrari's most lackluster performance of the season. They were left scratching their heads after the checkered flag. Ever since, the team has been digging through the telemetry, hoping to turn those headaches into breakthroughs for this weekend's race. 'WE went very Deep in the analysis of Silverstone,' Alonso noted, acknowledging the lack of pace. 'WE saw som issues with The Car in terms of aerodynamic characteristics AT Silverstone in set-up maybe that WE Can do Better. So we will try to improve here.'"

some issues with the car 🙂🙂

I’ve got a hunch Mark is going to pull some strings to make sure this coming weekend stays completely chaos-free, haha 😁😁
goldenscout14 said:Ha, man, what an interesting mess we have here. I’m honestly betting on the underdog—especially considering those few folks in this thread who clearly haven't a clue what's actually going on, which, frankly, just adds to the comedy of it all. 🙂

so, are you telling me that using reductio ad absurdum isn't really the go-to move it used to be? 😁😢
stormybadger8 said:Even if by some miracle that were true... who cares? It doesn't change anything.🤷
I said he was better in the race right up until everything went to hell...

🤣🤣
William Gonzalez3 said:I kept telling myself, "Look, you don't always have to be the guy stepping up to fight bullies or trying to fix every single injustice," but since nobody else was lifting a finger, I felt forced into this move—something I'm honestly not thrilled about doing, but someone has to step up.

So, is William Gonzalez3 some kind of Tyndall type? image
William Gonzalez3 is dead center 🤣🤣 :vriiiŠŠššŠŠššššŠt: 🤣🤣🤣

He can talk all he wants, but if anyone has shown true composure and stability under pressure in recent races, it's Sebastian Vettel.☕
Webber, Alonso, Hamilton, and Button all lost their cool in situations like that—every single one of them.

graniteharbor502 said:Actually, I don't think that's quite right. On that final lap before his retirement, Sebastian Vettel was running a lap approximately four tenths faster than the pace before:

Of course, one has to consider that Sebastian Vettel was likely managing his tires to some degree. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that Nico Rosberg would have managed to overtake him, especially when you consider the fact that Mark Webber was breathing down his neck at the very end of the race.

I don't recall the specific last lap, just the general trend and how he was closing the gap.
But he was closing in on 😁

Mark is a whole different story—you can't even compare them. 🙄😁
Jason Campbell70 said:Three weeks ago, we were celebrating that win in Canada. Yesterday, it was pure chaos after losing the lead on a technicality.

Eyes wide open.

Look, that’s just a bonus track in this narrative—it’s essentially a consequence (among other things), or rather, a direct payout for how he conducted himself in Malaysia.

People aren't idiots, 😁

To me, the biggest indicator of his sheer instability was actually those two driving errors back during the Canada race.
little loser said:Spot on, kid. He isn't "the legend," and he never will be—not in terms of championships, and certainly not in total wins. There’s only one true GOAT. That kind of gritty, powerhouse racing character? It only comes around once in a millennium.☕

He couldn't care less about Seb. Despite being German, Seb is really just a spoiled little brat—a total daddy's boy.

spoiled—that's the first word that comes to mind.😁

And that attitude is going to cost him dearly.

Plus, all this selfishness and this fake "underdog" persona he puts on? It’s all manufactured, unfortunately.
graniteharbor502 said:If his performance on track starts to suffer, then I will gladly concede the point to you. However, looking at how he drove yesterday, I didn't see any sign that he had mentally cracked. He was controlling the race from the front once again, and most likely would have secured the win if it weren't for that gearbox failure.

Sure, you've got a deal. I'm saving this post for later. 🙂

Nico was actually putting on quite a show and closing the gap—who knows, maybe that gearbox failure actually saved him from being caught. 😁
stormybadger8 said:Signal is a total train wreck. 🙂
The TV signal is absolute garbage right now. My DirecTV keeps cutting out constantly. At least I can still catch ORF or RTL, even if watching Mexican channels is driving me insane.

What’s there even to say about the race? Honestly, I don't know where to start.😢
Total mess with that breakdown, but honestly, thank God we've got Mark Webber.😁
He just smothered the competition again, which helped minimize the damage.

The maestro absolutely nailed it—he messed up so spectacularly that even he realized it himself.🙏
It feels like Lotus and Ferrari have completely checked out of the title fight. With how much luck everyone else has been having and all those trophies flying around, the gap between them and the leaders isn't even shrinking anymore. It’s basically over.
Exactly what I’ve been dreading since the start of the season is starting to happen.😳
Mercedes is a damn beast of a machine. Both Hamilton and Rosberg are definitely going to be title contenders.
Dammit, if it wasn't for that tire issue and the gearbox failure, I'm not even sure Vettel would have stood a chance. Honestly, Hamilton probably would've had him before he could even blink.
He was fast, sure, but he only made it into the pits twice.

Across the board, Mercedes has become serious competition for both titles.

Yeah, tell me about it 🤣🤣
