It honestly feels like the FIA completely botched things. It looks like they really screwed over everyone except for McLaren and Mercedes with those engine mapping rules.😲

Ferrari keeps improving, which is great news for Vettel. Besides, they were trailing way behind anyway.

The officiating was absolutely unbelievable today. 🤦

Vitaly Petrov😲 gets no penalty, yet first Grandpa gets penalized, then Mark Webber loses a position? Seriously, the pursuer was hounding Kamuia for two or three laps right behind Webber under blue flags, and neither the driver nor the stewards seemed to care one bit.😂

Kudos to Webber.👍 I'm just glad he actually managed to finish the race.👍

The STR track was impressive, especially the Algiers section.🙏🙏🙏

So basically, he's the outlaw who outplayed Michael Schumacher...

Honestly, this is the most repulsive track on the Formula 1 calendar. It’s as grim as those sketchy late-night movie theaters you find in parts of Asia. All that concrete, those walls, the seating... it’s just ugly. There’s really only one street circuit worth watching...☕

Look, this whole laser treatment for deep vein destruction isn't actually the big scary thing people think it is. From what I've gathered, the first and second stages just sort of retract on their own afterward. You don't really deal with those typical post-op headaches because it’s not even a traditional surgical procedure. Back in the day, there was no way to handle hemorrhoids like this. Now? It's a game changer. Even the specialist who performed my procedure told me straight up that it’s a fantastic method. If people would just bite the bullet and get it handled early on, they could bypass all the misery down the road. But people are just wired that way—they avoid the doctor until everything hits the fan. That was my mistake, too. I honestly thought I could just rub some cream on it and call it a day. It doesn't work like that. Once things get complicated, it can get genuinely dangerous. You can develop polyps from hemorrhoids, and polyps are basically one step away from cancer. So, take it from me: go see a doctor immediately before things turn into a nightmare.

If things get serious and we hit stage four, then no. It can't be avoided.

Thomas King28 said:A black catheter??? And what exactly are they putting it in???

I already touched on this earlier. It goes into the urinary tract. It can be pretty uncomfortable, especially once they pull it out because things tend to swell up a bit. You’ll probably want to sip some cranberry juice once you get back home. Don't stress too much; you're in good hands. It’s just going to be a bit rough since the heat is already kicking in. This surgery isn't exactly a walk in the park, and the recovery period can be tough, but look at the bright side—you'll finally be rid of this problem for good.

Thomas King28 said:They were both there, and we had a really good talk. They wanted to perform an exam right then, but honestly, I just wasn't ready. We agreed that the exam would happen before the actual procedure—basically, regardless of how bad it looks, we’re doing this because I just want to get this over with once and for all.
It was likely based on the photos and their own experience, but they managed to give me a preliminary diagnosis. I wish they were wrong. I wish it were a minor issue, but regardless, I've started this process and I have no intention of backing down.
Of course, I haven't just skimmed a few pages; I've read the whole story and looked into other sources too. My wife knows her stuff when it comes to healthy eating and herbal supplements, so I don't expect any issues there. The only real issue is me and this discomfort I just can't seem to shake.

Hmm, here is a little advice for anyone out there feeling too embarrassed to see a doctor. Do you think they don't understand human anatomy? Of course they do. They’ve seen plenty of people since they were students and interns; everyone starts out in general practice. It's the same for the rest of the medical staff. They'll be the ones inserting the catheter. Then a nurse will be the one removing it. They'll even have to shave the area around the anus. That’s handled by a nurse, too. There is simply no room for shame. They've seen it all. Good luck...

Thomas King28 said:I didn't actually have the physical exam yet, just the initial consultation. I'm a pretty traditional guy, honestly. The idea of someone... well, looking or touching down there is something I just can't wrap my head around. So, I just showed the doctor a photo I took. He looked at it and claimed they were Grade 4 and need surgery. They'll do the actual exam right before the procedure while I'm under anesthesia. What really trips me up is that I don't have any symptoms. They seem to just slip back inside a few minutes after I go to the bathroom. I'm lost on how to feel about this. Based on what you've been through, is there any way to make the recovery shorter or less painful?

Well, he has to verify if it’s actually Grade 4 or something smaller. It’s strange to me that he didn't perform a manual exam. That's the most basic part of the process. My doctor checked me out immediately. As for recovery, the fewer complications you have, the faster you bounce back. But since nobody has even laid eyes on you yet, I can't say for sure what your situation looks like. That's what surprises me. 😕Don't let the surgery scare you. According to my surgeon, I was one of the toughest cases, and now everything is perfect. I actually had a follow-up in the tenth month for a polyp—not hemorrhoids, because those are gone for good and aren't coming back. Just be brave and listen to your doctor. Who did you see for the consultation? Was it Dr. Vuletić or Professor Kandić? Vuletić is an incredible surgeon too, and he'll give you solid advice. I've written quite a bit about my experience, so feel free to scroll back through a few pages if you want to read more.

Casey Rogers47 said:When a doctor tells you that your hemorrhoids are only Stage I or II—meaning surgery isn't necessary yet—they just hand you a prescription for ointments, creams, some cheap pills, maybe some expensive ones, chamomile baths, a bland diet, no spicy food, and a whole laundry list of other stuff. When none of that actually works, you start looking for other ways to fix it.
This guy talking about those HemoBalans magnets even claims on national TV that they’ll give you your money back if they don't work.

Look, it's obvious you don't always need surgery right away. But over time, things just get worse. Usually, people drag it out until they hit Stage 4, and then they're facing massive problems. That's why I keep saying surgery is really the only permanent, total solution. I remember reading an article by the surgeon who operated on me; he mentioned that women often develop them during pregnancy, and the doctor decides when to operate based on the exam. If it's not urgent, they usually wait until after the baby is born. As for those magnets? It's definitely nonsense. There is zero scientific basis for believing in that kind of thing. We know what hemorrhoids are, and magnets aren't going to do anything for them. People just get desperate and try anything. I was in that exact same spot myself. I even let someone talk me into seeing a "bioenergy healer." 🤦 Of course, it didn't work. I was in such a state of confusion and unbearable, agonizing pain that I ended up seeing a quack. Nothing helped. I actually had to laugh at myself—here I am, a man of science and engineering, sitting there with a bioenergy healer. These alternative methods are useless for acute conditions. Honestly, most alternatives are garbage because they lack any shred of science or logic. But again, I'll say it: when people are in despair and constant pain, and it feels like there's no hope, they reach for anything and everything... even things they know probably won't work.

Thomas King28 said:I haven't had any pain or bleeding so far. The only thing I've noticed is some lumps during bowel movements. Could that be stage 4? Thanks!

It’s a good sign that there isn't any pain. From what I understand, stage 4 means they don't retract at all. Stage 3 also involves issues with them not going back in. If you're seeing lumps during a bowel movement and then they eventually settle back down, it likely isn't stage 4. In my view, it shouldn't be stage 4 if that's the case. If you end up going to the same clinic where I finally got my issues sorted out, don't worry—you'll be in great hands. Honestly, if you've already had an exam and surgery is scheduled for three days from now, the doctor would have definitely explained exactly what's going on.

I live about 20 minutes outside of downtown Boston, but honestly, I had no clue that clinic existed until Michael Diaz4 mentioned it. I really want to thank him. For the first time in a long while, I feel like there’s actual hope that I can get back to my old self. I actually have my surgery scheduled in just three days.

I am a little nervous about this whole "cleansing" process they have to do before the procedure. Is it as unpleasant as people make it out to be?

It can definitely be painful, especially if you're dealing with Stage 4...

Linda Edwards74 said:Long story short, I've been dealing with hemorrhoids since my last pregnancy. Up until now, I just used Vaseline and some suppositories whenever needed, and honestly, it worked fine. But clearly, my body has built up a tolerance. Now I'm torn between trying Pfizer tablets or just going through with surgery at a specialty clinic—specifically a hemorrhoidoplasty performed by Dr. Smith in Washington, D.C. They have a website, and after reading their articles, I realized I can't wait any longer because my condition has progressed to stage 3😢😲! Does anyone here have actual insight or experience regarding that specific surgery😕, the clinic, or should I just stick to a 14-day course with those Pfizer pills🤷🙏? Thanks

Go ahead and try the supplement if you want, but let's be real: surgery is the only way to actually fix this...

rowdybadger26 said:Hey everyone... Maybe someone else has asked something similar, but I honestly don't have the bandwidth to read through 90 or however many pages are here. I'm dealing with this intense itching in my anal area (and before you ask, it isn't a hygiene issue 😲). People tell me it might be the early stages of hemorrhoids, but I’m not feeling any pain, there's no bleeding, and my bowel movements are totally normal. The only thing is, I sit at a desk for 8 hours straight at work. When that itch kicks in, it's unbearable—especially when I'm stuck at the bank or somewhere public... I feel like I could bite someone. If this really is just the beginning stage, can anything help? What should I do?
Thanks

You should try to take Advil or use some Voltaren gel. Honestly, though, your best bet is to see a specialist so they can actually take a look... And keep this in mind—it's fine while it just itches, but it gets real once the pain starts...

If it's itching, you might have some micro-tears or tiny fissures that are trying to heal (assuming it isn't something else). You can wash the area gently, which shouldn't be an issue, but make sure you apply something afterward. The stuff I mentioned above works wonders...

fadedstag1 said:I know it's my only real option, but my job really ties my hands when it comes to free time. I'm on a six-month contract right now, and they can renew it up to four times before federal labor laws kick in and guarantee me a permanent position—which won't happen for another two years. If I were to take a month off work right now, it would absolutely put my employment at risk. So, for now, I just keep my head down and deal with it.

Well, you could always take a month of medical leave. I mean, if you didn't have a job, how would you even afford the surgery? You should look into sick leave. At the end of the day, your health has to come first.

fadedstag1 said:I’ve been diagnosed with fourth-degree hemorrhoids. I’ve tried everything—creams, suppositories, you name it. Last year, I took Pilex twice; it helped a little, but then I was right back where I started. Same goes for Detralex. Work has been so demanding lately that I haven't had a spare second to schedule surgery, so I’ve just had to deal with the pain and manage on my own. Among all the drugstore creams, a friend actually suggested I pick up some Flogocid. It’s used for inflammation, ingrown nails, and soothing skin from burns, frostbite, or slow-healing wounds. It contains boric acid, white petrolatum, anhydrous lanolin, cholesterol, lavender essential oils, liquid paraffin, methylparaben, and a floral scent. (You usually find it at vet clinics.) When things get acute and there's bleeding, I use a Faktu suppository, and then apply a thick layer of this ointment to the area. After two or maybe three bowel movements—three suppositories max—the bleeding stops for about three days. I stop using the Faktu then and just keep applying the ointment to the sore spot. If the pain after a movement is intense, I make sure to take a warm bath for about 10 to 15 minutes while lying partially reclined. Since the hemorrhoids are external, it feels like my backside looks like a rosebud. Since they're so "accessible," I keep a small 16-ounce plastic water bottle in the fridge. I fill it with water (around 40 degrees Fahrenheit) and set it on the floor for a few minutes. Then, I slowly lean against the bottle, making contact only with the affected area. Trust me, the relief is almost instant because it helps constrict the veins.
I should probably mention one more thing.
When I have to go, I sit on the toilet with a small stool under my feet, maybe 8 to 12 inches high. It helps me strain less. To keep things moving smoothly, I eat a few dried figs every day before meals. Between all of this, I can handle these "hemorrhoid" issues. I hope my experience helps someone out. If someone had told me this ten years ago, I would have suffered so much less.

You really need to just get the surgery. You already know the best place to go for it. There's no point in suffering through this; eventually, it'll just catch up to you and you'll be forced into the operating room anyway. Just fix it once and for all... I feel like a new man now. My quality of life is incomparable compared to how it used to be.

Nah, honestly? Just a little stack of gauze—maybe 2x2 or 2x3 inches—tucked right in between the cheeks and you're good to go...😁

slytinker36 said:It honestly surprises me that nobody on this board has mentioned how Hemo-Ex can totally ruin your clothes. It definitely bleeds through two layers of fabric. Since it’s full of essential oils, it’s incredibly greasy and a nightmare to wash out. I barely managed to get it out of my jeans, but my sweatpants are basically ruined—even after multiple washes. Just a heads-up! I really should have used a thicker pad under my underwear, but I didn't realize that until it was too late.

Well, for the nice stuff, you can always just hit the dry cleaners. I used to struggle with that exact same issue back when I dealt with this. Everything is fine now, though...😉

silverharbor18 said:Once I finally accepted the reality of my hemorrhoids—I mean, there's no denying it, it hurts and there's bleeding, so they're definitely both internal and external—I decided to just buy some cream. Honestly, I wasn't exactly thrilled about discussing this with a doctor. At the pharmacy, the lady suggested Fact ointment, which comes with an applicator, awwww, how convenient.
So, I gave it a shot... and I have to say, the cream works wonders. No pain, no bleeding. It makes sense, though—I hadn't actually had a bowel movement yet!
Basically, after four days of using the cream, I didn't go at all. 😕
It was strange. Once I realized things weren't working that way and stopped applying it, the next day was absolute torture. You can probably imagine what happened. You eat normally for four days and nothing comes out? Just U-G-H. 😲

Naturally, I found the whole thing weird, so I asked the pharmacist if this was possible—this ridiculous "side effect." She just stared at me with wide eyes, looking completely bewildered, saying she'd never heard anything like it. Truly, the situation is just absurd (and honestly kind of funny), and I have no clue why it happened. Maybe some sort of psychological thing? 🤷

Anyway, I haven't used any more topical treatments since then. But I am still mentally bracing myself to actually make that doctor's appointment. 😢

Use a stool softener, get things moving, and head straight to the doctor...😉
