Noah Diaz said:Just wanted to give a quick shout-out to the forum mods for yet another "stellar" post from the latest clone of that permanently banned Haram guy.

.

As far as I'm concerned, you won't see me back here until you actually fix the moderation and make it possible to have a civilized conversation without all the stalkers, trolls, and clones running rampant.

Maybe I'll see you guys when things improve.

.

... or so says the guy who’s been permabanned a hundred times and still makes it his life's mission to troll people about anthropogenic global warming.
Am I right, Yarlan Zeyu, and a whole bunch of other users (I really don't feel like digging through the archives right now)?
And what am I supposed to say to the rude, insulting trolling from someone who's been doing this exact thing on this forum for ten years? Just act like some persistent pest that nobody can shake.

🤔

Is this a thread for concise wisdom, or just for being brief for the sake of it?

The two idiots acting like they own the place have been moved to the cooling rack, so things are finally starting to breathe again.

Kudos to the moderators.

THANKS 👍

You should probably thank them for not handing out bans for such massive trolling, too. ☕

Goddammit... where’s the fight in that, even if it’s a losing one? We’re wired for the struggle, not for just giving up.

Jason Kim6 said:Just a heap of flesh, bone, nerves, and atoms. There isn't actually anything "alive" there that can die. But the world is a dangerous place—I guess. How we face and overcome that fear of death is what defines our quality of life. If you're living in fear, you aren't really living at all.

If you look at it from a philosophical standpoint, it's all about the continuity of information. We’re all essentially dying on a cellular level every single day as our matter recycles itself; we just try to keep the data stream going for as long as possible. Of course, our psyche doesn't perceive it that way. Our brains are hardwired to fight, driven by these evolutionary mandates like survival, reproduction, and social standing.

Wow, this is a heavy one. It’s a pretty solid topic when you break it down from a few different angles.
Can we please just stop the nonsense here for once?

It's actually a pretty subtle story about the awakening of female sexuality. 👍

The Brotherhood of the Wolf is one of those films.

It’s one of those movies you can watch a hundred times and still find something new in it. Definitely one of Burton's finest 👍

Hesijac.

It's already sitting on my shelf in my collection. 👍

Thanks, I see you guys stepped in. My bad for putting out something that wasn't actually true.

I'm not lurking on this forum 24/7. I spend maybe an hour a day here at most, and honestly, I'd rather spend even less.

Just looking at how much he's losing his mind lately—and for how long now—it’s pretty obvious how much teeth those sanctions actually have. Spoiler alert: not many.
Look, my criticism isn't aimed at you personally. I know you’re coming from a good place, and I’d assume that as a moderator, your power to actually hand out punishments is pretty limited anyway. At the end of the day, you’re just volunteering your time here, while there are people out there getting paid a full salary to do absolutely nothing.

I'm willing to bet my life that in a couple of days, some admin is going to chime in just to remind us all that they aren't on duty 24/7/365. 😁

So, what level of discourse are we operating at now? Is this just how we’re all talking to each other from here on out?

Jason Grant said:Watch out when that horse farts if you haven't pulled your head out of its ass yet. Then brace yourself, because the toolmaker is coming to shove it down your throat again.🤣🤣

Jason Grant said:That's why I told him he better open wide, otherwise he's going to get hit hard and fast.

Jason Grant said:Why do you think? If some horse farted right in your face and the toolmaker screwed you twenty times over, maybe you'd start thinking more clearly. It's not like we haven't already completely wrecked ExxonMobil anyway.☕

I honestly don't get why Jason Grant gets such a free pass when he goes after certain users in these threads, tossing out insults that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic or even basic human decency.
It seems like his posts just get scrubbed here and there, while anyone who actually calls him out using that same tone gets slapped with a ban. He just storms in, wrecks perfectly good discussions, and nobody does a thing about it. 🤷
Can money actually buy happiness? in Psychology ·
Money, luck, and all the right circumstances don't mean a thing if you lack psychological maturity and emotional stability.
