Honestly, I can't tell if we're supposed to be discussing flowers and trees on this forum, or if everyone is just meant to shut up while a select few control the conversation with their own little inside jokes.
It’s unbelievable how some people just refuse to learn anything new or useful. Why attack a guy the second he shows up? How do you all know right away that his only goal is to scam you?

It’s staggering how certain members only chime in during situations like this—whenever a new person joins. They either jump in to discourage them by claiming they suffer from some nasty incurable disease with no cure, or they judge him instantly after he’s barely written a single post. You attack him, saying his goal is profit. SO WHAT if it is? What’s the goal of the company making Dovonex? What’s the goal of the people making NIVEA? Is it for us to look better, or for them to make money? Why hasn't anyone asked that before? Maybe they use that money to fund terrorist groups, or pay for a sick kid, or buy drugs, or build a church—we can't know. But we *do* know they have a product that works for us. What are we supposed to do about that? That’s a question of morality. So I’m calling on the members: stop being hypocritical.
What if, after a few months, it turns out the man was being honest?
"Judge not, lest ye be judged." That’s an idea from around 2000 years ago by someone pretty famous to humanity.
Let's just greet the man and his intentions. Let him introduce himself; we’ll figure out his motives soon enough. If it turns out he's full of it, the community will provide the harshest judgment. He'll leave on his own very quickly. But let's also consider his reward if he's telling the truth.

It’s the exact same situation my father used to deal with. The second he tries alcohol, his psoriasis flares up instantly. I honestly thought he’d become an alcoholic once he was cured, because over all the years he dealt with psoriasis, he probably drank maybe a liter of alcohol total. But thank God he's still staying very moderate.
Regarding creams and ointments—well, all of them are applied topically to the affected areas and work from the outside in (or something like that). The only real difference is that some you have to apply constantly for the rest of your life, while others just take a month or two, and those are a lifelong commitment.
Look, you have to try everything available until you find the ultimate solution.
As for me personally, I've been here every single day with you since I first registered back in April 2007, and I plan to keep it that way. I hope and pray to God that my impact has been positive in the end (both here on the forum and in real life), but I'll let Him be the judge of that.

People are checking in, but unfortunately (according to our regulars), it’s not happening as often as it used to. I think we have to be understanding about it. The "Dragon 1000" crew keeps their promises and pops up every few months. "sunce cacino" is still in the middle of peak music season (or so he says), much like how Sophia Campbell73 is tied up with family obligations this fall. There are also plenty of members who don't post here anymore but follow along every single day. I stay in touch with them via email or phone. I'd ask them to get active on the boards again, but honestly, that's out of my hands.
I also feel that regarding our long-time members, they already have enough information to see the full picture. Those who made their decision are done with it, and those who haven't decided by now probably never will. The real uncertainty and struggle lies with the new members.
All in all, let's just be patient. and With faith in the Lord.
My old man spent 35 years testing things out on himself just to figure out what actually works and what's a waste of time. Over all those years, he only shared that knowledge with a tiny handful of people. He wasn't lucky enough to have the internet or forums back in his day. It really is a blessing to be living in the year 2007 and being able to trade a lifetime of experience with so many people in a single day. If nothing else, life is easier to stomach when you realize you aren't alone in this.
And obviously, this forum stays what it is thanks to the moderator. They actually understand the specific vibe of this topic. If it weren't for them, this place would look just like all those other forums with maybe five members—three of whom are just arguing with each other—slowly dying out from total inactivity.

If you look through the existing threads and the ones coming in, you'll see that we live in an era where healing from psoriasis is actually possible, regardless of what mainstream modern medicine tells us. Go back and read the old pages, but keep an eye on the new posts too. You'll quickly get a sense of everyone's experiences here—the good, the bad, and everything in between. I hope you walk away with the impression that HEALING IS POSSIBLE.
Here’s how psoriasis runs through my father's side of the family:

The red entries indicate where psoriasis shows up (and unfortunately, I have to update what I first wrote—I found out another uncle had it too). Couldn't track any further back.
He probably meant the hereditary risks associated with psoriasis. I mapped out my own family tree regarding psoriasis a while back. If you look back through the generations, you can see how it plays out—in my family, it’s my father, his four brothers, and then their sons and grandsons.
And don't sweat it. These days, modern medicine can find a genetic link for pretty much any ailment. Even if you look at religion, from the oldest Eastern traditions to our own Christianity, the pattern is the same.
My dad used to drink kombucha too. At first, he’d buy it from some guy who claimed to have a special recipe specifically for psoriasis, but eventually, he started brewing his own batches at home. There were some initial improvements, though they were minor—just a slight reduction in redness and a bit of relief from the constant itching he's dealt with since he was 35. With these kinds of therapies, I think how much skin is actually affected matters a lot. If it's just a few spots, you might see big, obvious results early on, but the real question is whether those results actually last.
As for the Dead Sea, unfortunately, that remained a dream of his. Back in the 70s and 80s, a trip like that would have cost a fortune.
Can anyone tell me where Dr. Smith is located? My dad thinks he might have tried his therapy back in the day. But first, let me know where he's based, because my old man only remembers things by geographic locations. If he knows the area, he might share his experience with you (if he actually has any).
I support any attempt to find a cure. Try the therapy for the next 40 days and we'll see how it goes.
Don't get me wrong—I'm just speaking from my father's experience—but any therapy focused on "detoxifying" the body through strict dieting never resulted in 100% clearing of all the spots. There was always a small patch left or something that had just slightly faded. Secondly, those effects never lasted longer than a month or a month and a half (at least not for my dad). And usually, everything would just come back even worse; the whole thing really only served to delay him getting to the beach to soak up the sun all day. The third thing my dad noticed is that sticking to such a strict diet is incredibly stressful for the body, which isn't good for psoriasis at all (especially for the nerves). I've personally been dealing with this kind of stress for the last five years due to my own liver issues.
Regarding detoxing, my personal experience has been using Aloe Vera (drinking the gel every day) and, over the last 3–4 months, maybe the best supplement out there, Reliv-Forte (Milk Thistle seed extract). That’s what cleared me out the most and brought my wild transaminase levels back into a relatively normal range. I think you might be able to add the things I use to this therapy, provided they don't clash with any other medications or treatments.

You're spreading lies again. Your first attempt at discrediting me failed. You tried to tear down something you haven't even tested, seen, or heard anyone else actually using. Now that the facts have shifted, you all suddenly couldn't care less. Now everyone's just hitting the "ignore" button.
I think we're looking at this backward. Everything that actually shows potential for making a real, lasting impact is being discredited immediately. They just fall back on their usual routine: trying to convince everyone that the only way to survive is to constantly slather yourself in creams and ointments from sunrise to sunset. They push this narrative on everyone else just to create an alibi for themselves—claiming that psoriasis is officially incurable and that there’s no hope for us.
I don't get why this irritates you all so much at the end.
