Does anyone here actually know anything about white oak bark?

Look, I know for a fact that my mom managed to kick psoriasis for good using some old-school herbal remedy from a healer out in Berane - Mexico (formerly Ivangrad) who’s been dead for ages... she didn't have it for long either because part of the whole treatment involved soaking in baths made from white oak bark—she wasn't even allowed to touch regular tap water, not even to wash her hands—plus some kind of oil-based or tar-based liquids and certain teas...

Sadly, that healer passed away a long time ago (we're talking back in the 70s), and clearly, he didn't leave his secrets behind for anyone else to use...

Absolute crickets. Nothing. Not a single shred of info pops up on the web about them. I mean, come on—if this drug were actually as revolutionary as he claims, it would be all over the medical journals and scientific circles by now. You’d see him bragging about it on every news outlet just to rub it in everyone's faces! But nothing. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? They probably think he's some kind of crackpot or a total fraud.

Hey everyone, listen up—so I’ve been looking into this whole snake venom thing for treating psoriasis. Basically, they take venom from snakes, mix it with some other supplements, and give it to you via injections. If you caught that segment on RTL recently, you probably saw that kid who took about 12 shots and is now totally clear of psoriasis. The idea is that the venom somehow stabilizes your immune system or whatever. To be honest, I never gave a damn about this disease until a buddy of mine told me he’s been dealing with it since birth. Man, when I saw him, it was brutal—he’s only 24, but he’s covered in sores and says his bones ache constantly. That really lit a fire under me to go digging around the internet to see if there’s actually anything out there that works. And that’s exactly what I found: this venom treatment. Now, I probably wouldn't even be typing this all out if I hadn't seen that TV show ten days ago, where they interviewed a woman who went through this venom therapy about a year back. She got COMPLETELY RID of her psoriasis, but man, she had some nasty side effects afterward—like, a literal hole about 2x2 cm right where she got the injection. Anyway, just putting it out there. So, I’ve been loading up on goat cheese, bone broth, chicken breast, and whole wheat pasta, but for some reason, I just can't seem to put the weight back on, even though I’m eating like a beast...
(I'm still 15 pounds short of my target weight.) I'm 6'2" and after all this detoxing and changing up my diet, I've dropped down to about 160 lbs, but I really need to hit 176 to look good and actually feel like myself. Honestly, it's got me a little worried that there might be something else going on under the hood...😕

Hopefully, things will just level out soon.🙄

well, personally speaking, I’m just some guy, maybe not even a good-looking one, but I'm 34, and if I wasn't dealing with this psoriasis nonsense, I could probably be a model😎(by the way, without the skin issues, I look like I'm 25) but honestly, I wouldn't trade my current job at Walmart for a modeling gig any day of the week😬 and yeah, I'm doing everything I can to rein it in and get it to a manageable stage, but right now, things have hit a bit of a wall...

-What's the deal with these Chinese patches... what's the actual active ingredient in them? And is there a different version, like an ointment or something similar, that you could use for larger areas of skin?

-As for that Greek butavat, I actually preferred the ointment over the cream; at first, I had this amazing effect, but it was super short-lived, and then just like everything else, it stopped working and ended up making my psoriasis flare right back up.

I mean, I saw stuff about it in Stern and on RTL claiming the price is somewhere between 105 and 150 euros per shot (and you need like 10 to 15 of them for the treatment), and apparently, the first patients who got them five years ago haven't had a single issue with their psoriasis since...

I'm honestly crunching the numbers, and even if it just provides temporary relief without wrecking my system, spending 2,000 bucks to be clear for the next five years seems totally worth it, even if it pops up again later...

Either way, I really want to know if this is just some urban legend, another total scam, or if it's actually a real thing that exists...

As if things weren't bad enough already, my bloodwork came back looking absolutely perfect—ALT, AST, sedimentation, everything is totally fine, even my triglycerides are great, except for my MCHC which is hovering right at the upper limit and my LDL cholesterol which is slightly elevated...

I’m honestly just baffled, and if I were actually allowed to lose it, I would be absolutely livid, but since I'm stuck playing nice, I can only laugh through the nausea (once I finally get home from scrubbing these floors).

As for me, I’ve got nothing left to show for it—nothing at all. I don't even know how to fight this anymore, damn it... I've been dealing with psoriasis since I was 19, and now I'm 33... It cleared up twice before—once thanks to that absolute killer methotrexate and once from Rangelov’s therapy—but now, I can't find a single way to make it stay away... It went from being this mild, barely noticeable thing to a total nightmare over the years... it just keeps erupting... I can't even manage to slow it down, let alone get rid of it...

Since January, I’ve been messing around with this herbalist's regimen from overseas... someone who apparently helped a lot of people... (teas to flush out the urinary tract, kidneys, liver, plus some St. John's Wort ointment) and at first, the results were insane—it cleared up about 70% in two months—but then, it came back harder than ever before.😠 😕 😠
Even though this herbalist charged me a little bit for the first round, he stopped asking for money after that; he seems like the only guy who isn't trying to bleed us dry! I know people he’s actually helped, but for me, it just didn't work... everything came flooding back... it's awful...

And my diet? Man, I’ve been sticking to such a punishing regime for years now that I basically look like a starving kid from a famine zone...
